im so glad my mind wasnt the only one that went there.

Also since a friend of mine will be posting a CS I was going to go here and post a secondary one to fill out the roster in case he decided on entering the tournament.

Personality: Akira has always thought clearly. He is intelligent and an excellent strategist. Always calm and level headed he doesn't feel upset when he looses though he does prefer to win. The only time Akira should be feared is when he is angered or dueling, especially when he gets mad during a duel. He becomes reckless and cares only about winning.

Brief Bio: Akira grew up in the southern part of New Domino City with his parents. He loved playing games with the other kids and easily fell into Duel Monsters. Becoming fans of many duelists. He had originally gone to Duel Academy and had easily became a Ra Yellow but after his parents dying in a car accident he came back and took over his parents card shop which they had named Final Frontier Gaming. While running the shop he discovered that one of his duel monster cards seemed like it was talking to him. during his next duel he saw Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab emerge from the card in his hand and the two easily became friends.
For a long while Akira and Flare lived in the attic of the shop but eventually they were able to move into their own little house just inside the border of the City. Akira often visits his parents grave and usually can be found anywhere at his shop or at any local tournaments.

Flare came to Akira after feeling his sorrow of his parents death but since Akira didn't duel for a long time he couldn't surface the way he wanted to. Flare is wild and funny while also being a great strategist. Flare seems to idolize duelists like Jayden Yuki and Yusei Fudo consistently mimicking their speech mannerisms and poses.

Ryu had moved through the emptying cafeteria like the others at the start of the duel. From the hall he watched the two females duel it out in a great display of skill. While he liked the girl Sandra's determination he loved Cybell's attitude and the way she acted as if she had already won.
"What do you think Jain?" he asked the spirit next to him. "That Cybell is one tough girl eh?"
"Indeed but just wait until they get a taste of our new power." she said grinning.
"Our new power?" he said turning to her, his eyes glowing slightly. "This power is mine and mine alone. you serve me and would do well to remember that." he said while staring the duel spirit down.
"Yes sir...sorry sir" she said looking back at him.
"There now lets watch this duel then I want to find Lyall and show him just how much we've changed. Maybe even get a little show of power in before-hand" he said turning back to the duel and grinning.

Ryu stood observing himself he had clearly changed in a way. He walked to a bathroom and looked at himself in the mirror. He looked the same but his eyes were now a deep sinister red. He grinned and walked from the bathroom toward the cafeteria.
"Jain hurry up!" He barked to the duel spirit.
"Y-yes master." She said her breath catching at his sudden personality shift. Ryu looked down at his right hand and smiled. Now he had truly arrived.

Also Varionus if there's room a buddy of mine would love to join this. If he has to participate in the tourney I have a secondary character set up to fill in and if not he said he's fine being a side line character until later

Ryu had fallen to his knees, the pain in his hand had gotten so intense he couldn't stand. The cloud that shrouded his deck was now gone but was replaced by a darker aura.
"Come on quit being a baby. " Jain said with a sneer. When Ryu looked up to her he noticed her armor had changed to black as well as her hair. Her eyes now looked a sinister red.
"Jain? What happened to you? " he asked concerned though he still hurt. The spirit knelt next to him and whispered in his ear.
"The same thing happening to you!" She said as Ryu's pain intensified to a point where he blacked out. When he finally woke up Ryu felt more alive than he had ever felt before. And a dark aura surrounded him.
