RP and work hardly ever mix especially when you call a co worker by an RP characters name
Akira chuckled as he stepped off the bus. Most of the kids were too eager to get going and Akira was one of them but he wanted to take in the massive tower before him. He chuckled again louder this time catching some odd looks from the other students which only made him laugh more.
"Well come on lets do this!" he said looking to them with a laugh as he walked in and followed the instructions to the counter. Taking in everything that the bored staff member was he laughed and placed a hand on the persons shoulder. "Come on now cheer up." he said as he looked over the Structure decks before him. "And while I'm at it I'll take the Master of Pendulum deck and one pack of Dimension of Chaos please." he said with a grin. The instructor just yawned and handed him his cards and pointed him int the direction of the duel disks where Akira picked up a hybrid type Duel Disk in preparation for his turbo dueling and synchro summoning classes. HE walked along until he saw a pair of people talking. A shy girl and a fairly normal looking guy. BEing him he walked on up and leaned against the wall nearby.
"Hey there glad to see there are some people communicating." he said with a warm and cheerful smile. "Sorry if I'm interrupting anything by the way." he added.
Personality: Akira is just an ordinary kid from New Domino city Happy go lucky and an avid duelist. THough he tends to be happy many people tend to think hes crazy because even while losing a Duel he tends to start laughing because of his enjoyment of the game. When Turbo Dueling you may also hear him begin quoting Yusei out of his own fan boy levels.
History: Akira grew up watching Duel monsters grow into what its become. Hearing all about famous duelists and watching duels on T.V. both the current league and even legacy matches such as Duelist Kingdom and even the Fortune Cup duels. His friends all laughed at him for being such a fan of Yusei because he was an older duelist and they all thought he was too old school. He didn't care he just wanted to keep dueling and go pro eventually. HIs parents always encouraged him to remember to have fun and try his best. His father always dueled with him and helped his learn the ins and outs of the game. It helped that his dad owned a card shop in new domino so they were able to keep up to date on the way the game had evolved. Finally his dad had told him that he was going to send him to Duel Academy no matter the cost.
Favorite Card/Archetype or theme: Stargazer Magician/ MAgicians in general
Chosen courses: Turbo Dueling and Synchro Summoning
Chosen Structure Deck: Master of Pendulum (Swapping Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon for Odd-Eyes Dragon and removing Rune-Eyes Pendulum Dragon)
Just me being me Always wanted to be a Jedi but didn't exactly believe in everything the stood for such as not having families XD Also sorry for the wall of text there guys but I hope that post is up to par.
Atreyu stood after having been meditating for what seemed like hours his master had wanted to make sure he was calm and ready for anything that could happen in their duel. "Atreyu, stand my padawan its time for your final trial." The middle aged man said from across the room. Master Erranus had been with Atreyu since he had reached the age of four. They had been on many adventures together and fought many battles yet their relationship was more of a father son type than brotherly like the one Atreyu witnessed between Master Kenobi and the young Skywalker. IF it weren't for MAster Erranus Atreyu would never have made it out of the Jedi Temple when the 501st and Darth Vader attacked. These thoughts raced through his mind as he stood and followed his master to a dueling platform. "Your mind is still not clear Atreyu. You cannot keep thinking of the Temple we were visiting anyway. It was not your fault." he said resting a hand on Atreyu's shoulder. "You keep saying that master, but i can't shake this feeling like I should have stayed to try and save thouse Younglings." he said clenching his fists. "They didn't deserve to die not like that....not at his hands." he continued before looking up to his master. "Atreyu you spent too much time with Anakin and Asohka you're begining to think like a Jedi." Erranus said with a smile. "Not like that's a bad thing but you mustn't bottle up your emotions let them out feel them but don't let them consume you." he continued. "Of course master." "Now, let us begin." Erranus said drawing and igniting his blue hued lightsaber. Atreyu responded by drawing his own silver colored blade. Their battle was quick and they moved more like assassins than sword wielding warriors. Each stroke was matched by a parry or block each movement in synch with eachother like a true dance of warriors and friends. Finally Erranus slipped up and Atreyu took advantage of it utilizing a force push to knock Erranus over before leaping up and force pulling his white lightsaber to his hand and igniting is before landing on his feet above Master Erranus both blades crossed at his neck. "Seems as though I win this round." Atreyu said with an arrogant half grin. "That you did, and with that you pass your final Trial. Congrats" he said smiling. Both withdrew and holstered their blades as Atreyu helped his master up and as he did he knelt and as a joke between them he recited the old Jedi Code before reciting that of the Grey Paladins. "Very good now go celebrate with the others I will meet you there." Erranus said before walking to converse with a few masters that had gathered to watch. Atreyu smiled and ran off to the banquet hall to see the others. Upon arrival he stood in the doorway shocked at the number of others having become Knights and such each having passed their trials.
