House of Night: Resurgence (IC)

Well I've been at it again. My reading has caught up with me and I really wanted to do a House of Night RP my basic Idea is that this will be set in present day America at the Seattle House of Night where things have been a little strange lately. Fledglings have gone missing and a group of rag-tag Fledglings must figure out whats going on All while dealing with the drama of school and relationships and battling the forces of Darkness (Yes that's a capital 'D')

I do have a few rules for characters however.
Absolutely no one can be "Zoey" meaning no affinities for all five elements (Air, Fire, Water, Earth, and Spirit)
Canon characters can be mentioned but lets not have anyone be related to them in anyway shape or form as they will now be appearing in the RP as of yet. (If we get far enough in the nerd herd might make an appearance)
Your characters can be from where ever you want as long as its a real life locale and you have a valid reason to be at the school.
Everyone is a Student but if you wanted and we had a decent amount of student characters I will allow a second character that is a Professor.

That's basically it if any one is interested feel free to express interest here once we get a small group we can get the OOC and CS's up and get the ball rolling.

Reiji eyed the man still but continued on having forgotten all about the card game to take a seat near the door. That guy is just rubbing me the wrong way. He thought as he looked around at the group of people. There were a good number of them now and most of them were having a conversation or interacting with one another in some way shape or form. which made Reiji smile he loved seeing people getting along even if it didn't always happen.

Reiji took the comment then looked down the long stretch of road he had just ran but before he could reply the red head was off in her own world talking to some of the others. No big deal, I'll find someone else to chit chat with he thought as he turned to face the rest of seeing what looked like the start of a card game. The game seemed like a fun idea so he decided to walk over but something caught his eye. A man in a silver suit, he wasn't really doing anything nefarious but he was still just creepy as he stood there staring at the group of kids.
"Hey creepazoid in the suit!" he began, acting on impulse as he often did. "Any particular reason you're staring at a group of kids!" he shouted to the man as he sat and stared. Reiji was trying to meet the mans eyes so he could try and figure out what he wanted from them all.

"Ladies and gentlemen are you ready for the Gunpla World Championships?" a loud voice booming from the TV said.
"Please tell me something good." A dark figure says from the chair in front watching the advertisement.
"This year we will be taking you back to the spectacular 7th Gunpla World Championships rule set. Singles combat, and a massive cash prize!" the emcee said clearly excited. "Ladies and gentlemen get your Gunpla ready because the Regional tournaments are coming next week!."
"How lovely....Child retrieve my Gunpla its time for me to do some damage..." the dark figure shouted through out their house as they turned off their TV.

Three months later...

"Toshiro Sei-Ken, Gundam Exia Solaris Wing, Launch!" Toshiro said as he launched his Gunpla from the launch bay and the battle began. This was merely a free battle with him and a local player but with the World Championships final tournament starting up today he wanted to make sure he was ready so with the damage level set to minimum he and this local battles until Toshiro came out on top pretty quickly.
"Thanks for the battle it was really fun and good practice." he said as he shook his opponents hand before gathering up his Gunpla and walked from the hobby shop he was in and began walking to where his bike sat hopping on and riding his bike all the way up to the gate of the arena where the Battlers were to gather for the tournament. I hope some people show up so we aren't all stuck being rushed. he thought as he leaned against the wall settling in for a wait.

Reiji laughed at the comment about being late and looked around to the others that had gathered.
"Well Claire as i said before I'm Reiji, Reiji Hoshino. Oh and just so you know I wasn't running because I was late. I was running because I wanted to." he said with a smile before straightening out his clothes from his run and greeting the others that had greeted him and anyone else with a simple 'Hey I'm Reiji nice to meet you.'

Reiji was still buzzing from the news he had gotten merely two days before today's event. The letter from Professor Kalmia had excited his whole family and even a few of the people in Lakewatch City. His father had even mentioned that the Gym Leader Lesley had mentioned looking forward to their battle, even Sawk, Throh, and Lucario were excited enough to help him get in some last minute Martial Arts training with his father. That morning had been the start of something bigger that Reiji could have expected and now that he was finially reaching the outskirts of Pureplain City Reiji couldn't contain his excitement and let out a shout of pure joy which got a few shouts from the locals who were just waking up. Man I'm so excited to meet my Pokemon I can hardly stand to keep walking like thi-...Why am I walking? he thought as he hefted his bag onto his shoulder making sure it wasn't going to fall away or move too much and after tightening his headband took off at a full sprint toward the towering skyscrapers of the city. His mother had told him where to look and in what felt like an hour Reiji reached the building and quickly noted a fiery looking red head and another girl not too far off. After taking a moment to catch his breath Reiji approached the red haired girl smiling kindly as his mother had drilled into his head.

"You must be here to see the Professor too, either way its nice to meet you. I'm Reiji Hoshino by the way." he said offering his hand to the girl in a handshake-like manner. Internally he hoped the girl wouldn't think of him as arrogant and annoying but he still wanted to introduce himself anyway as the girl gave off the vibe of a fellow martial artist.
