River looked into his eyes, knowing he had no idea what was happening. "This is going to be normal sweetheart, all pregnant women throw up. It's just part of the process." River said, still shaking as a few more tears streamed down her face. She hoped she was right, for his sake. And if she wasn't....... Well, she just had to be right!

"And why should I~" River said before he fell asleep, sighing and laughing to herself a bit. She kissed his forehead before falling asleep herself. River woke up later on, rushing to the toilet and letting herself dry heave since she had nothing in her stomach. And with the baby inside of her, it hurt like hell. Tears streamed down her face as she vomited up some blood, silently sobbing and shaking as she knew this was because of the pregnancy. She had known that she would vomit eventually, but she knew her doctor would worry. And then he'd get upset again.

River ran her fingers through his hair and shushed him, wiping the tears from his face. "I didn't want you to because I didn't want you to get upset like this. Sweet heart, you won't mess up again. And even if you do, I won't stop loving you; ever. And if we end up losing him or her, we can always have another. I'm old, but I'm not that old!" River said winking and smiling, kissing his lips and nuzzling her nose against his own.

"Yes, your going to be a father! But whether it's a boy or a girl, I have no idea! All I know is the pregnancy test was positive and there's a bump where our child is forming!" River said, smiling at him as she pulled down her shirt over the little bump she had. She smiled and took the medicine from him. "Your right! We have to have a healthy baby, now don't we?" River asked with her cute little smirk, drinking down the medicine before kissing him again.

River smiled and laughed, coughing a bit more after starting to laugh harder. "That's because there's something inside of me....... Please, don't be mad, but...... I've been pregnant for about a month now, starting a couple of days after our wedding night....... Surprise!" She said, smiling although she looked extremely worried. Please don't be mad, please don't be mad! She prayed to herself, starting to look more worried than happy when she looked into his eyes.

River wiped away his tears, a smile on her face even though there was blood dripping down her lips a bit. "I've vowed to hold you, in sickness and in health, didn't I?" She asked, helping him up and taking him to the sick bay. After mixing up a cure for all his problems, River gave it to him and sat on the med bag table. She pulled up her shirt a bit, motioning for the doctor to come over. "Put you ear right here, and tell me if you hear something strange. I swear, I think my heart is pumping at two times the rate it was before." River said knowingly, but kept her excitement to herself as she saw her cure helping her poor doctor already.
