I'd like for people to make characters for a story I'm writing. If interested PM me. I might make some sort of thread for it.

We aren't really reserving gods or goddesses, however, if you'd like me to reserve a spot for you in the RP I can do that.
@King Kindred

That makes sense. Feel free to use Thantos as your godly parent. However, I think I'll put him under neutral.
I'm thinking of playing a female elf. However, do you think that the elfin race could have some variation to their appearance? Because while it makes sense that most elves have similar features, I think that there would be some genetic mutation after awhile.
I don't think Thanatos had children.
No, kids of the Big Three are okay, but I don't want EVERYONE to be a child of the Big Three.
Greek Mythology is pretty extended. I've read a lot of stories in various types of media, so I know some, but I'm not an expert. Though I do have to agree that the Percy Jackson series really started it for me.

I think I'll change Dionysus's side.
@King Kindred
In the stories, Poseidon, Hera, and Athena worked together to bind Zeus and make him change his ways as the ruler. So as much as Poseidon and Athena fight, they still agree that Zeus sucks at ruling. Plus Hera's getting pretty sick and tired of Zeus cheating on her with mortal women.

I thought about that for Demeter and Dionysus. Dionysus I might change, but as for Demeter, it wasn't Zeus's fault. It was Hades's fault and I think that Zeus did the best he could possibly do as ruler in that situation. I think she'd be grateful to him for at least letting her daughter see her for half a year. The alternative would have been never seeing her again.
The basic premise of this RP:

The gods on Olympus are arguing. The usual right? Wrong. Athena has brought back an argument from hundreds of centuries ago. Whether Zeus deserves to be the King of the gods or not. Olympus is split in half, and furious fights are breaking out between the gods. Athena believes that she would make a better ruler than Zeus, but Zeus wishes to keep his position on the throne.

So obvious these fights end up affecting Camp Half Blood. The camp is now divided in half. Siblings against siblings, parent against child, cousin against cousin. The camp is being torn apart at the seams, relationships are formed an broken. How will such a civil war play out?

This RP takes place after the Heroes of Olympus books, but far enough into the future that the main characters have moved on. Also while the Roman camp and the Greek camp still get along, they are immersed in their own problems and don't have the time or resources to contact each other.

The gods on Athena's side:
-Poseidon
-Hera
-Hephaestus
-Apollo
-Artemis
-Dionysus

The gods on Zeus's side:
-Aphrodite
-Demeter
-Ares
-Hermes

Neutral:
-Hades
-Hestia
-Persephone

These are just ideas, if you think anyone should be added to a side, or if you think I should move a god or two, don't be afraid to ask. If you give a little bit of a reason I'll probably change it. This is just from my memory and imagination of how this would go down.

Anyone interested?
Yea, plus I think we should have an arc where some characters go through the S-class trials, that'd be pretty fun. Plus what about the Guild Master?
Ah yes, such suspense. I can't wait to see what happens.
