Leith woke up to the sound of the door closing. It was one of the few times that he had actually gotten a good night's sleep in a while. He wanted to stay under the covers, but today was the day the missions started, and he needed to get ready. He went through his daily routine of getting dressed and caring for his mint plant, which had grown very nicely in the two years he had cared for it. Before he left the room he grabbed a mint leaf and popped it into his mouth. When he was out of his room, Leith started heading towards Althalus' and Mar's den.

After he had helped Mar figure out walking, he had been checking up on her often. One reason was to help with the finer points of walking and the other was to try and keep her spirits up from the depression that had plagued her when she first got her legs. Soon enough, Leith found himself at the door to the den. With a smile, Leith knocked on the door to the den.

Leith'll be on the Djarkel diplomacy mission.
It was far too cold.

If it weren't for the gratuitous amount of winter-wear that XIII had been provided with, he wouldn't have been able to help with the snow removal. He made sure that not much, if any, skin was exposed to the cold, and the lack of bite told him that he was successful in that part. He was glad for the warmth that his clothing provided. Glancing around the room, he noticed that Vaughtar was clearing snow at a very quick pace, but the gargoyle was not looking very well. XIII made his way over to Vaughter and caught the round of questions that Charles had for the gargoyle.

"I could take over for you if you want," XIII said, his voice muffled by the balaclava he wore. He smirked and spoke with humor in his voice. "Hell, I think I could even beat you in how quickly I can remove the snow." He glanced at the circle the Vaughter had clearded from the alter outwards. "Besides, it looks like you've done more than enough to deserve a rest."
I'll try to have a post up either tonight or tomorrow sometime.
Yeah, pretty much, and to answer your question, @Demonic Angel I can't complain.
@Luna Konan is on too.

I'm always on. I just lurk in the shadows, mostly.

Leith noticed Althalus tense up ever so slightly when he had mentioned the Wild, and the man was about to answer when someone spoke up from behind Leith.

"What's goin' on? What are we dealin' with?"

Leith gave a small grimace when he heard Alaira. He wanted to have a private conversation with Althalus, but it seemed like it was to be put on hold for a little while. He turned around to greet the half-elf with a smile and noticed Grey off to the side as well. He gave the guard a small wave before he addressed Alaira.

"Hello Alaira. To be honest, I don't know what we're dealing with, but something had been bugging me since the missions." Leith looked at his cloak to make sure that his right hand was hidden and to give himself a moment to think. He adjusted his cloak slightly and continued. "I've been drawing parallels to these two missions and the mission I was on months ago. All of them had abilities far beyond what was the norm for masters. That wasn't the only similarity, though." Leith glanced at Grey. "I was a part of Tyrael's trial as Satori's Investigation Squad so I got to read the reports for what happened in the catacombs, and it looks like the Vitamancer that attacked us on the mission months ago had a sibling. So I think that the people that interrupted the hunt are connected and the mission in the catacomb are with the same people that attacked that village months ago. I was just asking Althalus if he had any contacts that might have insights on what we are dealing with, and if they'll come back again."

Leith waved his left hand dismissively "But I can talk about that later. What brings you two here?" he asked, taking note of the cart that Grey had been pulling with him.
Gah!
I am, I think.

Leith adjusted his cloak so that his right arm wasn't visible before anyone answered and sighed when Althalus opened the door. "Well, yes. I'm hoping you can." Leith started pacing back in forth as he talked. "I probably should have mentioned it after the hunt, but there was a lot going on. My leg was broken, and there was the whole issue with..." He trailed off and stopped and looked at the door as if he could see through it, then started pacing again. "I had mentioned something similar to you before, but you brushed it off, and I didn't see any reason to pry. I know who- no, what sent those people. I was told moments before it happened."

Leith stopped pacing and looked Althalus straight in the eye before he spoke again, his voice quiet so it didn't carry. "I came to you because out of anyone here at the college besides probably Ovak, you know more about the Wild than anyone else here, and whatever it is, it seemed to have been after Lyn." Leith rubbed the back of his neck with his left hand and sighed. "I thought I'd let you know. I would like to know more about what we're dealing with, though, if you don't mind.'
