Well, if it's decided that you guys want to continue with the RP, and Cloud is still accepting applications, maybe some fresh blood could help move things along? I have ideas for a summoner that I'd like to try out if this hasn't died yet.
ROKA ZALE

Roka listened intently to the eloquent speech Damar shared. The man had some very good points, even if he gave the Council more credit than Roka thought they deserved. And, as Roka himself was unlikely to get near the rallying pair, Damar's word would have to do. He couldn't help himself, however, from a small smile creeping onto his face at the mention of the Dark Side, though he quickly erased it. One of his own failings was that he often forgot that most other Jedi didn't have the same view on the Dark Side as he did, and that passion was not necessarily a stepping stone to it. He nodded as Maalik concluded his thoughts, and smiled at his fellow Knight.

"A very prudent choice, I think. Observers and aide-givers, not solders. I think I'd like to join you, if you'd have me. I was prepared to go to Taris anyway, as I assumed the Council would refuse aide, or as you said, are waiting to see. I already have a reputation with them in situations similar to these, though I admit this is a larger scale than I've ever encountered. If I may advise however, I know your reluctance to engage in battle, and that is a noble goal. However I will not hesitate to engage an enemy about to harm someone. The Mandalorians are ruthless. I would only suggest you consider when or if you would engage them."

Roka shifted his stance a little, his gaze growing distant as he considered the other courses of action Damar had suggested. "It would seem Taris is our first destination, regardless of if we go together or not. However, if the place is too far gone, which I dearly hope is not the case, I do have a ship, a fairly quick one. We could possibly make it to more planets and help fortify them, that seems like a good idea. You are correct, the Jedi should not be an army, a sea of faceless solders. However, we must also consider that if we can help, we should. We all have different strengths, and I think we could at least keep the Mandalorians from progressing too much further.

"And through it all, I think we must also check ourselves frequently, lest we become wrapped up in the idea of glory as the Mandalorians, or as you suspect our brothers over there. Our intentions must be pure in all things; this is a very difficult situation and I believe the Dark Side will take any selfish actions as a chance to begin its corruption."

ROKA ZALE

A young-looking Knight stood on the promenade, having looked over the gathering with great interest. He pulled his robes more tightly around himself, hating the feeling of the oppressive garments but not looking to cause any unnecessary trouble in these trying times. He scanned the gathered crowd again, searching for any signs of malcontent. There was a sea of emotions to be sure, but all repressed and muted. Not that he expected anything less from the Jedi Order, even if these were the loose cannons. Not for the first time, Roka Zale questioned his own motives; why did he act so differently from the rest of the Jedi? This was part of his process, constantly checking himself to be sure that he was not falling to what some people so naively referred to as the Dark Side.

Taking a deep breath, Roka closed his eyes and began to speak softly to himself, barely above a whisper. A code, much like the Jedi's, but of his own writing. A mantra to keep him centered, to stay on his path.

"There is no light without the dark.

Through passion, I gain focus.

Through knowledge, I gain power.

Through serenity, I gain strength.

Through victory, I gain harmony.

There is no Light Side. There is no Dark Side. There is only The Force."

Roka Zale stood straighter and tilted his head to one side, hearing and feeling a satisfying series of pops run down his neck. This temple always made him tense, even as a child. It's why he spent as little time there as possible. Only luck, or perhaps The Force had him here today, witnessing the rally and the call to arms against the will of the Council. He wanted to join them, if he was being honest with himself. But he was too far from the situation. He didn't know where Alek and Revan's hearts were at.

Just as he resigned himself to a gamble, Roka turned and saw a somewhat familiar face, the Knight who had stepped up to speak with the pair. Perhaps he had some insight... "Excuse me." The shorter Knight said, his antennae perking up as he tried to catch the attention of the Knight who's name, he thought, was Maadik. "It's... Maadik, right? If not, I am deeply sorry for the slight. Knight Zale, is my name, and I was wondering; you spoke with Alek and Revan, correct? I assume the Council plans to do nothing, that seems to be their current stance on most things, but I wonder... Do you think those two are in the right? I mean, clearly we have a responsibility to do something to help Taris, but is their approach the best? Or is there another way? You spoke with them is all, and I'd like the insider opinion."

TURN BACK

Turn Back glared at Wraith even as he listened to Ditch yell at the two of them He fought to hold back the bile he desperately wished to spew at this little punk, especially given the parting jabs she took at him. The obviously fake apology and smile were too much though, and he growled back under his breath "Well at least I can save someone, psycho." He said before turning to Ditch again.

"I have less than no idea how to fight mind control. Hell, I barely have an idea of how to fight darkness. But like I said, I can help the kid. I'll make the call, we can move him somewhere within an hour, probably. If we want him to stay here with Ditch till he wakes up and can tell us what he knows, then fine. But after that, he needs the safety we promised him." Turn Back nodded to Ditch, Omega, and Tank before stepping out of the warehouse again, pulling out his phone and dialing Emma.

Barely a moment later, the phone picked up and Emma's clear voice rang into his ear: "Jason! I thought you were going to be home by now! What happened?! Are you hurt?!"

"Emma, I'm fine. Listen though, I have a... favor. It's about, uh... Business. We found a child. He's maybe 12 or so. He's cold and alone, he's scared. That, uh... That thing that I've been working with the others to get under control? Yeah, this kid came from there. We need to help him."

There was a moment of silence on the other end of the line as Emma processed all that. Jason sighed and rubbed his temple with his free hand, inwardly cursing the sheer stupidity of the codes his desire to be vague had boxed him into. "Okay..." Emma finally said. "We, uh... I think we still have that air mattress, I can sleep on that... Do we have enough food? Is... Is it safe here?"

"Food's not an issue, I can take care of that. And you and I can take care of him. Look Emma, I'm sorry. This whole thing is so sudden, and I didn't want to drag you into--"

"I'm setting everything up now. He'll have hot food and a place to sleep when you bring him home. Don't worry about dad either. I'll take care of everything Jason, just bring the both of you home safe."

The line went dead and Jason sent up a silent prayer of thanks to his saint of a sister. He headed back into the warehouse and caught Ditch's eye. "There's a place for him. A good one, where he'll be safe. Trust me, the girl taking care of him is an... Angel." He said, hoping Ditch would get the message. He shoved his phone back into his pocket, his hand brushing a foreign object. He sighed at the memory, he'd found Reaper's money clip after going back to scavenge the rest of the cash she'd thrown. He hated the thought of talking to her again, but she had seemed worried about it. Besides, he'd got some good information from it, as his thumb scanned across the engraved 'ZK' in the gold.

Turn Back's eyes caught Reaper near the door, still keeping away from the child. Sighing again, Turn Back sucked it up and headed over to her, pulling the clip out of his pocket as he approached. "Reaper. I found this. Thought you'd want it back." He said, holding out the money clip. He dropped his voice lower as he approached, so nobody else could hear. "I wouldn't toss it around any more if I were you though. Might not be safest, if you know what I mean." He couldn't be 100% sure, but he had a feeling he knew who the girl in front of him was...
Hey guys, I'm sorry for posting a CS and then disappearing. Long story short, my personal life has kind of taken a downward drop, and I'm trying to get that under control. I am still very interested in playing this RP, but will be busy for a little longer. I hope I can still hop in with you guys once I get everything sorted out!
@Rethel34 Okay, I think I fixed all the issues presented. I wasn't sure if you wanted me to nerf the Force abilities or remove them entirely, but what I did was nerf them and put some limits on them to show that Roka isn't very skilled in them. The justification I had for Fold Space was that the man who studied with the Aing-Tii was not a Force user, and even he could use this ability with little effort, and so I figured that someone who is talented would be able to learn it more quickly and better. However, I understand the concern and have made the power less game-breaky.

The mention of his parents is still there but toned down, I'm still not 100% sure it'll work but I'll leave that up to you.
Thank you! Funnily enough, I had found the site you mentioned myself, but my internet had been acting up. All clear now though!

Hello! I'm curious, are you still accepting players for this RP? I've been looking for a good Star Wars themed RP to get into, but I'd like to know before starting to write a CS.

(Also, if the answer is yes, does anyone have a good site they use to design a lightsaber? I'm having trouble finding a place.)
