Bio

Posting and replies will be limited due to my upcoming transplant on the 22nd of June. I apologize to everyone waiting on me in advance.

Suppose I can say a few things about myself.

My name's Josh, I happen to enjoy roleplaying(obviously), a bit of gaming now and then, and watching anime from time to time. I'm typically hanging around here somewhere, or sitting in Chat. If you want to speak to me there, feel free. Wouldn't be opposed to VM's either. You can also add me to Skype if you so wish, I'll put that up at the end. I typically do 1x1 roleplays, though there are group ones I do, provided the plot is interesting enough. Anyways, suppose that's all for now.

Upon the arrival of the man after him, his mechanical eye automatically scanned him, unable to detect any weaponry. The next ones to enter were also scanned, along with the two women that were there ahead of him, finally his eye fell to Lillium's new help, Alistair. While none of the patrons seemed to be a threat to the store itself, there was always the chance someone could act without warning. The man across from him had stared at him for too long, Aussir didn't like him, he gave of the vibe of criminal. Before he returned to his own thoughts, Lillium responded to him and stopped to chat with him. He turned his eyes from the man across the room, to her, "A bit of both, I suppose. You know what it's like during a storm, criminals take whatever they want, I just wanted to make sure you were alright. Also, your sandwiches are the only thing I eat when I'm not at my shop, and it's been awhile since I had one. A turkey club and something strong to drink, if you please, Lily." he ordered, giving the woman a smile. He had to act like nothing had happened earlier, he didn't want her to worry about him, it was his job to worry about her and her shop. He turned his attention back to the man across the room, closing his real eye and letting his robotic one remain focused on him as he waited for his order. The optical device had been quite expensive, but it was state-of-the-art, capable of scanning multiple targets in a matter of seconds. It came in handy when he had to fight groups of criminals, or even small menial tasks such as reorganizing his store. However, it had a flaw. While it couldn't be fooled by illusions, it could potentially be hacked into and have the optical sensors fooled. Despite this risk, Aussir had gone through with the operation to have it implanted.

Miyu stared at the television, which was on and still reporting about the terrorist attack, along with several debates about the topic. Her mind began to wander to the back room, why did Aussir sleep there and not have a house of his own? She had asked him that once, only to receive his usual, 'it's more convenient' answer. Why was it convenient? Was there something in there that he didn't want anyone to see? Her curiosity got the better of her, and after making a double-check that nobody was coming, she placed her hand on the back room's doorknob. Turning it, she pushed it open just enough for her to slip in, just in case Aussir had set traps that would reveal someone had been in there. Once she was inside, she fumbled around for the light switch, finally clicking it on. The first thing her eyes landed on was the large war sword in the corner of the room, the light reflecting of it's white blade. She moved to it and crouched down, seeing her face reflected in the blade. She stood up and carefully took the handle, regretting having done so when the blade hummed violently and threw her across the room, causing her to crash to the floor. Groaning as she got back up, she stared at the weapon, "What is that thing?" she asked out loud. She approached it again, this time placing her hand on the blade's surface, frowning as nothing happened. As she tried to pull it away, the blade suddenly turned red and her mind flooded with images, none of them her own. She wasn't able to understand the images, as they went too fast for her, but she had a feeling they were important. When the images stopped, she fell backwards, her hand becoming freed from the blade, which returned back to it's original color. Deciding she wanted nothing more to do with the weapon, and having learned her lesson, she quickly left the room and sat back behind the counter. What just happened? What were all those images? And why did she get this terrible feeling something bad was going to happen with Aussir?
Tyme looked at the mess he had made, three more lives to add to the total. It seemed he couldn't live anywhere for long before trouble found him, such was his fate, ever since that day. Sighing, he drew his attention to the princess when she addressed him, their eyes meeting for the first time in both their lives. Tyme let out a sharp gasp, falling to one knee, Misa?! Impossible! I saw her die a year ago! I'm the one who got her killed! How is it she's alive?! he thought, slowly looking up at Arysta. No. That's not Misa, but...how is it she has her eyes? Is this some trick the Goddess' are playing on me? Some sick joke? he thought again. He shook his head clear, whatever the reason was, he doubted he'd ever know. He slowly stood, "Arysta Wargrave? Then your father must be the King. As luck would have it, princess, I am on my way to the castle at this very moment. I heard gunshots and stopped to see what was going on, I'm glad I did. Come, I'll bring you back to your father without any further delay." he said, snapping his fingers. Moments later, his bike came to a stop near them, the male climbing on. "As for a reward, I don't need one. Money is useless to me, has been for a long time now." he told her, motioning for her to climb on behind him. Once she was on and secure, he took off through the forest again, weaving between the trees once more. It wasn't that long before they left the forest, the plains before them stretching far and wide, the large castle coming into view. As Tyme pulled in through the castle gates, he came to a stop and looked at the princess, "I forgot to introduce myself back there, I apologize." he said, though he was stopped when several people approached them.

"Unacceptable! We can't just sit here and let this rebellion continue! Does no one remember what the Avenasian Rebellion did? Whatever fertile lands they had are now scarred and burned! Not to mention that massive crater that now exists! No, I say we take up arms and fight back!" a councilman demanded. Several others clapped in agreement, Tyme watching from where he sat, hands laced together in front of him. He watched the man sit down, "A foolish idea." he said, slowly lowering his hands. The room looked at him, "Fighting only causes more fighting and death, is that what you want? Have you already forgotten the war Avenase and Tormin had prior to the rebellion? Both sides lost many lives, which could have been prevented had Armond listened to Luna. The rebellion only came to be because the people of Avenase refused to have a tyrant on the throne, they needed to rebel to be free again. This rebellion, this isn't real. Someone is behind it, pulling the strings, and you're all dancing to the tune. Do you want another tragedy like the Three Hundred Crater to happen again?!" he shouted, standing. The room was silent for several minutes, "How do you know all of this? And for that matter, who are you?" another councilman asked him. Tyme narrowed his eyes, drawing his gunblades and placing them on the table for all to see, "I know all this because I lived through every moment of the war, and the rebellion. I am the Hero of Avenase, Tyme Ishinara! I know what it's like to lose someone you love, it's a horrible thing!" he replied, glaring at the man, who had gone silent. The room was filled with whispering, many unable to believe the missing man from a year ago was now standing before them.

The rebellion has been over for a year, the nation is rebuilding itself still, it's people finally free from the tyrant, Armond. With many of the capital's defenses still being repaired, it has fallen upon you and several other individuals to keep the workers safe from monster attacks. Today, you're patrolling the eastern wall, which is almost finished with repairs. An easy job for one like yourself, yes? However, there have been extreme delays with this particular wall due to a pack of Behemoths that have recently migrated in due to the Three Hundred Crater's creation. While these particular ones tend to keep to themselves, there is an odd one or two that manage to get too close. Once they do, the panic sets them off into a rampage, usually resulting in plenty of injuries and several casualties. Today, you happen to notice the entire pack edging closer to the wall, though the reason for this is unknown. Since Behemoths are usually top of the food chain, it seems unlikely that they're being stalked by a predator, yet their behavior would suggest they were. You're now faced with two options, go investigate and leave the workers undefended, or stay put and hope the pack doesn't charge. Either way, you don't have much time to decide.

Good, because I'm just about ready to start typing up a post, which will include your stage.
It wasn't long into the storm that Aussir had been jolted awake by the sound of thunder, instantly jumping off his bed and bolting out of the back room, "Miyu, lock up the register!" he shouted, peering through the glass door. He saw movement outside, however, it appeared the individuals weren't interested in his shop this time around. Regardless, he still wanted the place locked up before someone had a change of heart. "It's locked, Aussir. Is anyone coming?" she asked, concerned. The male looked at her and shook his head, "No, but we can't let our guard down, remember what happened last time?" he reminded her. She nodded in response, of course she remembered, she nearly lost her life during the last storm. It had come just as unexpectedly as this one had, and several groups of thugs had broken through the door, attempting to loot the place. That was also the day she lost her old job, so she had been wandering the streets and saw the thugs. She started shouting at them, but they only turned on her with weapons, intending to silence the witness to their crime. She wouldn't go down without a fight. She had taken a group out alone when they finally brought her to her knees, only to be saved by Aussir, who had emerged from the partially looted store in a rage. It wasn't long after, that she was hired, and taught how to use the shotgun behind the counter. Aussir looked outside again, "Worried about Lillium?" Miyu asked, sitting back down behind the counter. He remained silent, "It's alright, Aussir, go. I can handle the store by myself." she added. He looked at her again and nodded, "Lock the door after I leave, alright?" he instructed her. She giggled and waved him off, walking to the door as he left, locking it.

Outside, the cool rain hit Aussir's human skin, something he enjoyed. Storms were his favorite thing in the world, he had no idea why that was, he just knew he did. As he walked in the direction of the sandwich shop, he began to wonder if Lillium and her shop were alright. It had been quite some time since he fought off those thugs, he wondered if they ever came back to try again? Maybe they had decided to leave the store alone? He didn't know. The sound of footsteps near him brought his attention back to reality, his cybernetic eye scanning ahead of him for anyone, though it showed nothing. Looking over his shoulder, he noticed a figure following him. No, they just happened to be going in the same direction, right? Coincidence. He turned forward and spotted The Lotuswich Shop just ahead of him, across the street. He quickened his pace, not liking who was behind him, then hearing the person do the same. They really were following him! Just as he was about to break into a run, he was snatched from the corner and slammed against the wall of the building there. "Ha! Look who we have here, fellas, that guy from months ago! I think we should teach him not to mess with us!" a familiar voice said. Turning his head enough to see, he recognized the the now group of men as the ones he fought protecting Lillium's store. A bad feeling came from the pit of his stomach, he knew there was no way he would survive this fight, there were far too many thugs this time around. "Look, you want money? Take it, just don't kill me, alright?" he pleaded. The men laughed, then their leader came up from behind and whispered into his ear, "We don't want your money, we want your life."

Aussir felt a sense of dread, he knew these guys were being serious. He couldn't die here, but the odds were clearly stacked against him. Being let go so he could fight, he turned around to face the men. He had two spells he could use, one would be pointless as he had nobody around to protect him afterwards. The second, he swore never to use. He made a promise, and he was going to keep it. He avoided the first attack with ease, though felt a fist slam into his ribs from beside him, a large man having thrown his fist into him. Following the hit, he felt searing pain in his arm, finding a knife in it being pulled out. He used his own good fist to slam the man with the knife away from him, turning and using his left foot to side kick an attacker. He suddenly found himself on his back, his head hitting the pavement, causing him to become dizzy. He slowly stood as the men chuckled and mocked him, if things continued like this, they'd kill him. He thought about the spell, he could use it since his life was at risk, right? Surely that would be an exception? No. He couldn't. A promise was a promise...yet for some reason, his hands were glowing. There was no choice now, the spell was already underway. Aussir used his good hand to point at the leader, "Run while you have the chance." he said calmly. The men all laughed, though their laughing stopped when Aussir started to grow, eventually his human body tearing itself apart by sheer force. What emerged was a large white dragon, which roared at the group, it's tail sweeping away most of them. The remainder stared up in horror, clearly unaware that the human they had picked on was clearly a dragon. Before they could react, Aussir lowered his head and let loose a breath of flame, burning the now fleeing men to a crisp. The remaining men all fled, some on fire, despite the downpour occurring. Roaring once more, he let another round of flames shoot into the sky, his body glowing and shrinking. He fell to his hands and knees, gasping for breath before finally standing. He looked at an unconscious thug and decided to take his clothing, considering his own had been torn apart. He then made his way towards the shop's doors, entering through it and taking a seat in one of the corners like he usually did. "Bad weather we're having, eh Lillium?" he commented, pushing the thoughts of what just happened from his mind.

Well, BlazeGamma mentioned that he'll have more reliable computer access in a couple of days. Shurikai is probably waiting for others. Don't know about Crim, Krinos, or Silver Carrot.

Anything I'd post would likely be only three to four sentences at most, and I really don't feel comfortable with making that kind of post.
A pair of dragons could be seen in a clothing store, one minding the register, while the other arranged out of place clothing. In the background, a television played both broadcasts, "Aussir, what do you think of those two men?" the dragon asked, staring at the television beside the register. The dragon was no more than nineteen, her human appearance resembled that of a typical teenager, with long purple hair. Her golden eyes entranced many other male dragons, aside from Aussir, "I mean, they're making promises to keep out the terrorists, yet neither of them seem to be lifting a finger to do anything. Hell, you've done more for the neighborhood than they've done for the city in just this past week." she added, shifting her eyes to Aussir. The male sighed before turning to look at her, "Miyu, it's not wise to say such things about our government, even if it is us two in here. Sure, there's no doubt that I've helped this neighborhood out more times than I can remember, everyone around here knows that much. Despite all that, the world of politics isn't a world I want to be part of, it's much too dangerous. I'd much prefer this life, and sure, I deal with criminals on a daily basis, but that's nothing compared to what else this city has." he replied. Miyu turned her body to face him completely, "Then why not expa-" "No!" he interrupted her sharply. He turned back to what he was doing, speaking after several more minutes, "No, Miyu. Expanding the company will only draw trouble, the kind of trouble someone like you should never bear witness to." he said, not looking away from the clothes.

"But why?" she asked, leaning forward, now curious. Aussir sighed and shook his head, "You've heard the reports, right? The Yakuza, along with the Underhill Motorcycle Gang? How they fight for control of this city? The criminals I deal with are no more than petty thugs, however, those two gangs, they're far different. They're not some petty thugs, they're professionals. If they want something, they get it, no matter what. That's why I can't, no, I won't expand the company. On top of the gangs, there are also terrorists. They say they're helping to 'free the city from corruption', but in reality, they're no better than the Yakuza, or that motorcycle gang. They kill innocents, and they don't care." he answered, finishing up the arranging. He returned to his place behind the counter, flipping the television off, "I've had enough of the news for today." he said. The door chime went off as several people walked in, Aussir's cybernetic eye immediately darting in their direction, scanning each individual. Pushing Miyu to the ground, he took out the shotgun from behind the counter, "Stay down." he hissed at her. His focus returned to the men approaching the counter, "May I help you gentlemen?" he asked, maintaining a serious face. His eye revealed to him that these men were armed, whether or not they were here to attack him, was a different story. The man closest to the counter looked at him, "You can, actually. I came in here looking for a present for my girl, got anything with jewels in it?" he asked. Still unsure of their intentions, he nodded, "Yes. Miyu, would you please pull out the jewellery from the counter and show them to this man." he instructed her.

Miyu silently nodded, taking her key and unlocking the compartment that held the jewellery, pulling the small box out of it and standing. "Here you are." she said, opening the box so the man could have a look. Aussir remained tense, if these guys started shooting in his store, he wasn't sure if he'd be able to react fast enough to save the girl. "These ones." the man said, placing a pair of ruby earrings on the counter. "An excellent choice, sir, they were just recently made." Aussir replied. Miyu carefully picked them up and wrapped them before placing them in a small bag, waiting for Aussir to ring up the price. The male punched the price into the register, gripping the shotgun tightly as the man's hand reached behind him. Aussir placed a hand on Miyu's shoulder, preparing to push her the moment he saw a gun, though it never came. The man's hand came back into view with his wallet in it, a feeling of relief washing over him, "Are you alright?" he asked. Aussir nodded, "Yes." he said, taking the man's money and giving him back his change. Miyu handed the bag to the man, both of them watching as the men left the store without incident, "Aussir...are you really alright?" she asked, still staring straight ahead. It took a few moments before he gathered himself again, slowly removing his hand from Miyu's shoulder and replacing the shotgun, "No...I thought they were going to attack us." he admitted. Miyu turned her head to look at him, "You scanned them, didn't you?" she asked. He nodded slowly, "I've never trusted people, Miyu, anyone armed can possibly attack another person. It's the way things are in this city." he told her, slowly making his way to the back room, "I'm going to lie down for a bit, mind the store, would you?" he added. Miyu nodded slowly, watching him disappear through the door, Aussir... she thought, turning her attention back to the store.

Inside the small room, Aussir slid down the door until he was seated on the floor, his heart racing as he went through what just happened again. The room was small, one bed, one nightstand with a lamp on it, and a large warsword which Aussir kept for some odd reason. After having calmed himself, he slowly stood and made his way over to the sword, placing a hand on the blade's smooth surface. His mind showed him what his adoptive father had said to him years ago, "Aussir, I am not your real father. It was many years ago I found you wandering the streets alone, so I took you in once I realized you weren't the child of any dragons in the city. There was nothing to identify who you were, except for a tiny dagger in your hand, and even then that wasn't enough to confirm where you came from. That dagger you had, it seems to grow with you, as if it's part of you. You must never show that weapon to anyone, and you must never, ever reveal your dragon self to anyone in this city. If someone were to see you like that, I'm sure there would be others who knew where you came from. I know you want answers to who you are, but the route of showing your dragon self...I feel as if it will cause you nothing but trouble. So promise me, you must never reveal your dragon self." his words echoed in Aussir's mind. He stared at the blade before standing, I made a promise to him, and I have honored that promise, but I can't help feeling the need to change at times. The more I remain like this...the more intense the feeling becomes. What if I lose it and turn into a dragon? What will happen then? he thought, lying down on his bed. It wasn't long before he finally passed out, the stress of dealing with those men must've taken it's toll on him.
I have nothing brewing for a post at the moment, so I'm good with you posting, not sure what's up with Blaze though.
Name: Aussir Denthanus

Race: Dragon

Age: 30

Gender: Male

Profession: Clothing store owner

Appearance: &

Equipment: A large war sword he keeps in the back room of the shop, along with a shotgun behind the counter, and two semi-automatic pistols strapped to the back of his waist.

Implants: A cybernetic eye which replaced his lost eye.

Magic: Dracoshift: A very basic spell which allows Aussir to become human in appearance, it also allows him to change back to his dragon form.

Holy Breath: A magic only able to be used in his dragon form. It changes Aussir's breath from flames, to a white healing fire, though this can only be used once per day due to special circumstances.

Ward: This magic can only be used while in his humanized state. Aussir covers himself and his allies with a physical ward that deflects most physical attacks, with the exception of bullets and magically augmented weapons. This spell drains Aussir immensely, and once it's effects wear off, he is left weakened and unable to defend himself.

Personality: Aussir is known throughout the neighborhood as a kind-hearted dragon, despite how he came to the city. He is honorable, and has a strong sense of justice. He also won't let corrupt people push him or others around, and often has been seen fighting for that belief. While Aussir appears to be kind-hearted, he does keep others away from him, afraid to have anyone understand who he is inside.

Bio: Not much is known about Aussir's origins, other than the fact he is different from other dragons in the city. Even he doesn't entirely remember where he came from, though fragments of his memory reveal that he once lived in a city, too. At the age of five, he was taken in by another dragon and raised like the dragon's son, being taught many different things about the city he was in now. It was large, and maybe someone knew where he had come from, or at least knew where he could start looking. However, as the years went by, the older dragon fell ill and eventually passed away. With no other family to take over the shop, it fell upon Aussir to inherit the shop and keep it running. Despite this, he usually finds himself thinking about the past that he cannot remember, and of his parents. Where were they? Why couldn't he remember them? Despite these questions, Aussir has gone on with life in the city, facing daily threats to both his store, and to his fellow shop owners. One day, after having beaten off another group of criminals, he noticed another group already having at it with the Sandwich Shop later on that day. Already enraged from the previous fight, he wasted no time getting involved in that one, unaware that the owner wasn't there at the time. It was a long fight, but Aussir won in the end, but not before having taken several severe wounds. After some time, he returned to his shop, collapsing in the back room after closing up early. After that day, he's kept a close eye on the sandwich shop, often visiting it.

Misc: Sort of has his own little hoard of stylish clothing, though they are only ever displayed and never put up for sale. The hoard also includes several large books containing knowledge of the world, however, he rarely ever touches these.

Company: The Dragon's Den. It mostly sells clothing, with a bit of jewellery, custom-made by Aussir himself. However, the jewellery is made as a hobby, and only if he comes across materials he likes for them. The company itself is far from racist, considering they have clothing for each race, and often encourage people to come and take a look at their wares. Recently, Aussir has had to hire someone to tend to the register, a young female dragon from the neighborhood. The company isn't big, just the one store, which seems to do quite well for itself. Their business is done in a professional and courteous manner, never forcing someone who walks in, to buy something. Half of their profits go to the maintaining of the neighborhood, which has been done for well over ninety years, and has continued even under Aussir's inheritance. The store is located in the Dragon-Burrough, close to the border of Elf Haven.
