Bleach: A New Dawn

Asuka had graduated the Academy in great time, it was expected. Even with her lack of interest in Zanjutsu her other skills more than made up for it and her intelligence was something truly immense. She was voted the most likely to become Captain of their class...of course she was but still, she didn't really want that...she wouldn't waste her own time and everyone elses time by doing something she didn't want. As usual though Asuka had everything planned out, much like her battles she knew exactly what she would do and if anything un expected came up she would plan around it however she had made plans for those issues also...she anticipated issues and kinks, it was expected with everything. She however could not stand around here all day thinking about what she was going to do, she had to take action. Asuka took in a deep breath, closed her eyes then adjusted her glasses as she then opened up a book she was holding in her left hand and began walking, making her way towards the Squad 8 barracks. She had heard it was a rather odd Squad at the moment however this only interested her...Squad 1 was typical of a stuck up loser to go to, she wouldn't fall into that crowd. Squad 2 was to in the shadows for her, Squad 3...well it seemed to have gone down hill, Squad 4...well Asuka simply didn't care for healing people. Squad 5...well enough said really, Squad 6 was not her thing full stop, Squad 7 was just not interesting enough, Squad 8 seemed to have some odd feeling about it, that and the Captain was apparently odd and well there was no need to go through the other Squads...her mind was set. After enough time Asuka arrived at the Squad 8 barracks still reading however she stopped at the gates sensing something odd "Hmm...."

Koujaku and Akira walked down the one of the many streets within the Seireitei. Koujaku had his hands in his pockets and his top off as usual, Akira on the other hand was just walking with his hands by his side as he looked at the ground, showing no emotion. Koujaku turned his head to look at Akira then looked forward again as he then began speaking "You never speak do you? I seriously have never heard you speak which is odd...do you not have a voice or something? it's just odd to have known someone for so long and yet never to even to hear them utter a word...it's odd y'know?" Akira looked slowly to his right, his eyes showing no emotion still. Koujaku then looked at him "What? Fine...I'll stop going on about it...I know how you are about talking...anyway we're here" Koujaku said as they stood outside a bar they then both entered and as they did Koujaku noticed a few familiar faces, one in particular who of which he approached "Well it seems like it's been awhile hasn't it celestria?" Akira followed behind Koujaku when he noticed as he walked someone staring at him, this caused him to stop then look at them with his cold and emotionless eyes, this caused them to jump then look away. Akira then continued walking until he was stood behind Koujaku "Oh and this is my friend who I've known for most of my life. His name is Akira but uhh...he doesn't speak...so how you been Celestria?"

Yu waited a bit longer than usual and was about to leave assuming the Head Captain wasn't in, when he heard him say enter, which made Yu stay silent as he opened the door and closed it behind him. he bowed before the Head Captain and stood up straight as he cleared his throat. "Sir, I'm here about what just transpired a little bit ago. I received a report on two men going around and killing people, however that wasn't true, the worst they done was rob, but no violence was involved towards the people. During my engagement with one he would refrain from hitting any house or people within the area. He told me they were robbing the rich to give to the poorer districts, I did explain that this would only cause further tensions however, but he did have a slight point. However me and Hikari from squad ten couldn't capture either of them. One used this teleportation ability and made his friend vanish somewhere and the man then burned to ashes. My point being they weren't wrong when they say we Shinigami kill and don't even try to capture, and we are possibly a bit corrupt, since the report about them killing was a lie. If I may suggest something, would it be possible if I could survey these poorer districts? So they don't feel as though we are shrugging them off and letting, and possibly run a check on some people. So we dont get false reports like that again. I apologize if I seem rude or forceful about this." Yu said bowing again.

Shinji listened to what Yu said and it was indeed concerning...this wasn't something he wanted and yet it was something he almost couldn't do anything about but right now Shinji was on a war path and if Central 46 didn't see things his way he would use force if necessary, he wasn't going to let things be handled in such a brutish way...the very thought that the wool had been pulled over his eyes frustrated him. They told him things were being handled with proper procedure...as if...if killing criminals without trial is proper procedure then Shinji would insist he take over everything to do with Shinigami in the Rukongai. "I see...Well I feel I know the source of this sort of corruption and I may request you come with me to visit the very people responsible for brutish ways such as this. I was assured that things were being handled with correct procedure...I cannot believe I was so foolish as to believe something like that. I want you to prepare yourself. Soon we will visit Central 46 and we will make sure that Squad 1 gains control of this...it may end up more work for us but if this is what has to be done in order to deliver a fair judgement then so be it...I will not have peoples fates destroyed by corrupt men!"

Yu nodded and sealed his zanpakutos putting them in their sheaths. "Sounds good, try not to show off to the ladies now. " Yu said with a chuckle as he shunpoed back to the Seireitei thinking about what just happened. "Have we really gotten that corrupted?" Yu spoke to himself as he made it back to squad one, going to his room and sighing as he went and got another top to his uniform. He also felt someone pulling on his hair and smiled to see Amaya giggling. He managed to free his hair from her and gave her a kiss on the forehead as he walked back out of the room and made his way to the Head Captains office. Yu thought as he knocked on the door.

Shinji sat at his desk, his Zanpakuto rested across it, his elbows on the desk with his hands together infront of his face as he looked down at his Zanpakuto. The events still ran through his mind fresh and since then not a word came from his Zanpakuto, he could no longer enter his inner world...never before had he felt so powerless...if another attack were to befall the Seireitei what could he do? The skills he had were still there but he no longer had the energy to use them. As Shinji thought about these things he heard a knock at his door...even his senses had become blunt, even trying to recognise someone by their spiritual energy was difficult, it took all his concentration before he could figure out who it was. Finally sensing who it was Shinji took a deep breath then spoke "Enter..."

Kenzu watched as the man who his partner had been fighting appeared then he watched Yu and Hikari talk, the wolves were of little threat to him as the simply exploded from the heat but as it was Kenzu had stayed in this form to long...it was only meant to be held for a short amount of time and in truth...he was it his limit. The man watched Hikari take the attack head on however once he was revealed from the smoke he had a hollow mask on which made Kenzu's eyes widen, he knew now his fate was sealed if not already...this was why he forced his partner back...Shit...guess they started allowing these bastards.. Kenzu then prepared himself as Hikari appeared before him and began punching at Kenzu rapidly, Kenzu raised his forearms up and crossed them as they took most of the hits the final one from Hikari causing a small explosion which sent Kenzu flying back, he flew through the air before landing on his back and skidding across the floor. Kenzu then groaned as he forced himself to his feet slowly, he then looked down at his Zanpakuto as it began cracking "Shit...." Kenzu looked up to the two Shinigami then spoke "looks like I'm done here...I'm at my limit. I didn't think it'd end like this..." The mans Zanpakuto then shattered as his body began to slowly turn to ash I'm sorry Kid...I know how tough this will be on you... The man then closed his eyes as he uttered his last words "I guess you got what you wanted in the end...or at least completed your orders...now you can go back and get your pat on the back, while more people suffer..." the mans body then completely turned to ash, blowing into the wind...the only thing remaining was the hilt of his Zanpakuto which fell to the floor and rolled a little with the wind...

Yu watched as the man started to explain his actions as what him and his buddy have been doing, Yu honestly took note of this as he listened so when the man concluded, Yu gripped his swords and stood up pulling them out of the ground. "I see, well then I will bring this to the attention of my captain, as for shinigami just killing as of late..... That one I can answer, maybe most have been on edge since the arrancars showing up I wouldn't know, but I will adress this too. However, while you may have had pure intentions, what youve been doing causes chaos and panic. You could petition around the richer districts try and get them to agree instead of robbing them. If anything I can patrol around more along the poorer districts and take note of whats going on, but robbing people and then another district getting richer will only cause tension, and that tension could lead to bloodshed. And I wouldn't worry about my friend, he is smart enough to see whats going on."

The masked man watched Yu as he stood up and pulled his Zanpakuto from the ground, he then listened as he spoke then he narrowed his eyes before speaking "Then it seems neither of us are doing right then...this can only ever end in one way and that's bloodshed..." The masked man then thought of his brother as he spoke "If there has to be bloodshed then I'd rather it be our lives put at risk than those who live so innocently in fear" The masked man then prepared to attack but was stopped when he felt a large burst of spiritual pressure from where his partner was fighting, then he saw a pillar of energy shoot into the sky which caused his eyes to widen, this wasn't his partners "Kenzu!" The masked man then shunpoed off in that direction

Hikari watched as the rain had no effect on the man, it just turned to smoke. , Hikari thought. The man then stomped his foot onto Hikari's blade causing it to melt which made Hikari's eyes widen. As the old man got in close Hikari let go of his Shikai and jumped back just in time for the Zanpakuto to give him a light cut, but it would continue burning just like the wound on his side. Hikari gave a wince watching the man, he would probably keep watch of Hikari's Zanpakuto so he didn't get it....Though it was probably useless now anyways. Hikari took into account of what the old man could do, he was so hot he melted even Zanpakuto's.....That wasn't good. , Hikari thought quickly as he dashed towards the man as if he was going to attack with Hakuda but instead he jumped to the side and shunpo'ed back to where they started fighting. Rolling he quickly grabbed his fallen sheath and turned to the old man, jumping into the air Hikari threw his arm back and suddenly made speed clones in which followed his move in throwing the sheath at the old man.Suddenly Hikari appeared behind the old man and threw the sheath inbetween his legs in which a second later erupted in a large explosion of spirit energy that shot into the sky. He had used what he could do with his blade, add spirit energy into it to make explosion attacks, but instead with his sheath. The spirit energy could even be seen and felt from Yu's own battle, so being in the center of that would cause a bit of damage. Hopefully the old man didn't dodge otherwise Hikari would have to resort to....Other means, even if he didn't go down by that attack even if it did hit, he would probably have to resort to......

The man watched Hikari retreat, leaving his Zanpakuto to melt, this caused the mans eyes to narrow as he then watched Hikari make his way to his sheath Planning to fight with just that? brave...however it will end up just like your sword... The man then watched as Hikari formed many speed clones then he felt Hikari's presence behind him as he watched Hikari throw his sheath between his legs this then exploded violently, the energy shooting into the sky and engulfing the man. Once the dust had cleared the man could be seen still standing, blood pouring from many cuts on his body to the ground.

Suddenly the Masked man appeared and landed behind Kenzu, he then slashed towards Hikari releasing a powerful enough gust of wind to throw him back, he then turned to Kenzu and spoke "Shit! we need to get you out of here!" Kenzu looked back over his shoulder to the Masked man then spoke "No...you need to get out of here..." This caused the masked mans eyes to widen as Kenzu then grabbed a necklace around The masked mans neck and tore it off, this caused the masked mans eyes to further widen as a box of see through green energy appeared around him, the masked man slamming his fists against the inside of the box "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? DON'T BE AN IDIOT!" Kenzu just grinned at the masked man before speaking "Sorry kid...it's that time..." Tears then formed in the eyes of the masked man as the box began to glow "KENZU!!!" the box then let out a bright flash before vanishing completely, the masked man nowehere in sight. Kenzu then turned to Hikari, knowing The masked mans opponent probably wasn't far behind "Now I can finally go all out..." the man was now holding his Zanpakuto in his hands due to the feeling returning to them, he then pulled his Zanpakuto behind his head and slashed down at Hikari releasing an arc of pure heat that simply distorted the air, the only hint that it was there aside from the heat, the arc flew at Hikari with immense speed, aiming to severely wound him

His attack was a success, it hardly did damage though. Hikari watched as the man shunpo'ed into the air, expecting an attack Hikari gripped his Shikai tight ready to block again but instead the man had put his hilt in his mouth then landed on the ground watching him. Hikari began dropping towards the old man with his Shikai held out, before he hit the old man he shunpo'ed behind him and struck his sword into the ground as the sky began getting darker. "Looks like there's rain," Hikari said as rain began dropping towards the old man. It would seem like normal rain, but really it was just aimed at the old man, getting hit by it would seem like he was getting pierced by a thousand needles.

The man remained where he was, standing still, he didn't budge in the slightest even as the so called rain came down at him, he just stood there and let the rain hit him however the second it made contact with his skin it just turned into smoke...the rain leaving no damage on him as he then turned and stomped his right foot on Hikari's Shikai, this would cause the blade to heat up greatly then begin melting under his foot as he then got in close and slashed with his Zanpakuto in his mouth, aiming to cut Hikari across his chest
