Shiro then stood up straight and stretched then unsheathed his Zanpakuto and held it out infront of him with just his right hand "We are going to train your basic skills...your control. If you are anything like me then you want to enjoy fighting and so you must know how to prolong a fight, this includes strengthening your core skills....nothing is more intimidating than a Shinigami fighting their enemy with just their sealed form...because when they finally release their Shikai they become truly terrifying! So. The goal for you today Nishiki is simple...I want you to fight me with your sealed state Zanpakuto, use Zanjutsu and Hakuda only, aim to cut me as many times as you can and also...don't crumble when I release my energy...instead...use it to fuel your passion for the fight...it is important that you can fight by my side...now prepare yourself and attack when you are ready"

It did. He felt fear as that thing came down towards him but he wanted to live, he wanted to fight, he couldn't afford to die no matter what. He had to overcome his fear to attain Bankai...it was the only way for him to survive and face his fear of dying before completing his goals in life.

Shiro had to face his ultimate Shikai skill....the only chance he had of surviving was grabbing the Zanpakuto infront of him which was his Bankai, this allowed him to block his ultimate Shikai skill xD

Believe it or not its much easier, we don't have Juki who can do all these fancy things. That and I wouldn't really know how to test Yu in a forest. Like there really isnt much I can do there, besides have his wolves just give out random tests, like Echo making him Arm wrestle her.

xD Wait what? Juki's room had NOTHING to do with the WAY Shiro obtained Bankai. it helped him get to that level where he could START the training but it didn't help him get his Bankai, Shiro did that himself. If Shiro was to work on it in the Seireitei like everyone it'd be the exact same test xD Juki's room had nothing and has nothing to do with the test Shiro had xDDD

be creative. Just even if you absolutely must, fight it or whatever. Have an actual unusual test. I mean for Shiro he had to break out of being restrained to reach for the sword infront of him that is his Bankai, he needed his Bankai to defend against his Shikai's ultimate skill or he would of been cleaved in two and would of gone deaded. It can be anything really but it can't be like super super easy though. Aslong as it shows some sort of struggle and that, some sort of challenge then yeah...I don't mind xD
