Bio

So, a bit about me then: First and foremost, I love to try and create imaginative and creative scenarios, that (I hope) push the very limits of reason and conventional thought. When I RP (mostly in NRPs) I aim to play powerful and big, things that are on the very edge of OP (I usually give my faction a ridiculous disadvantage though, to keep it fair). In other RPs, I tend towards Science Fiction and Modern Fantasy, playing side characters with some interesting quirks to them. I am also keen on trying some Arena RPing, when I get better at writing. Other things about me are that I work as a Mental Health Nurse (who would've guessed), and enjoy gaming and drawing as well. I also play trumpet on the side. I have a rough schedule, so I disappear for a couple of days sometimes. But never assume I am dropping out, I will tell you if I am thinking of it (unless it's really serious).

Silver. When you're talking about the living quarters, are we sharing rooms? From what you said, it looked like we had individual rooms, but then you said that the commander had a room to himself.

I thought I read somewhere about bunks, so I assumed bunk beds. Could be wrong though :L
Up, down, up down... Bobbing away, with little care in the world. The Shelled Clumps appeared happy, though This One figured it didn't have that capacity yet. Come to think of it, This One was unsure of whether it itself knew what happiness was. Surely there was a way to figure this problem out. It fell to the darkest depths, and observed the Fire Feeders, still very basic in their design. Should It start the differentiating process with these Ones too? After some thought, it decided against it. They appeared fine enough, and intelligence could be more of a burden to it than an advantage, so It decided to have some... Fun.

For a while, This One had noticed the glowing points of light swimming about the Fire Feeders, and altered them to absorb these creatures. It took little effort, and now the Fire Feeders glowed brightly, As a result, they were preyed on more regularly, but This One didn't mind. It was having fun! Unable to stop there, This One decided to alter their shape too, and made them a hexagonal shape. It didn't benefit or hinder the Fire Feeders, but it was certainly something interesting to do. Proud of this little endeavor, it went back to work on the Shelled Clumps, and observed another issue in a constant stream of problems.

They stopped reproducing as quickly, and their Code was getting more and more difficult to alter meaningfully. Something needed to be done. It needed help. But as far as it knew, no One else was here, so it needed it's creations to take some of the workload off. Perhaps if each one had different Codes, and could mix and match between different Shelled Clumps? So, it started to develop little packets of Code that each individual released, to be absorbed by others, and allow for new codes to be randomly organised in new offspring. After some time, it had completed it's work, and sat back, eager to watch how this experiment played out.

Such fun almost seemed irresponsible to This One.

Bah, most of these guys look like they just passed basic. Too many young people, not enough experience... Kradis was already unimpressed with the make up of the team, and wondered what the hell his superiors were thinking. Whatever the case may be, this was his new unit now. At least he would get to see some action again, something he hadn't had reliably in nearly a year and a half, so there was a silver lining. He was already dreading to think how many losses they would sustain in their first foray against anything larger than a bandit troop, but left open the possibility that these guys would pull through. Fact is, these guys WERE selected for a reason, so maybe it wasn't all bad. Still, it didn't hurt to be cautious. Ignorance gets people killed.

As they passed through the ship, Kradis kept to the back of the group, and observed the hangars and, in particular, looked for Gammorah. Straining his eyes a bit, Kradis spotted his prized GEAR, loaded towards the back of the group, alone and having it's weapon pods fitted. Chip of the ol' block, eh Gammorah? Sometimes Kradis thought that his GEAR was his only companion, and that didn't bother him in the slightest. They had worked together for some time now, since he first signed up with the LDF and Gammorah knew him well. Sometimes the GEAR would even twitch, just like him. As a result, Kradis felt he had a spiritual bond with his machine, as absurd as that sounds. And because of that, Kradis would rather die himself than let Gammorah get destroyed. It made sense, at least to Kradis, that Gammorah had more to live for than himself.

Eventually, they made it to their quarters, and were dismissed, albeit confined to their rooms for the time being. Kradis sighed, and went to his bunk. He'd set it up hours before, when the Parvan first came into dock, so as to avoid the rush and hustle of various personnel running about to get ready for departure. He laid on the bed and rested his head, before booting up his PADD and reading the Landcruiser's file. He swept through articles, and took particular note of it's combat history, previous deployments and armaments. Quite a decorated vessel, and armed with enough fire power to level a settlement. In all actuality, it seemed a bit overboard for border patrols. Bandits don't stand a chance against a lone GEAR usually, let alone a Landcruiser...

Kradis continued to read, and ignored what was going on in the main room. He'd been on this ship for forty minutes, and he already missed the open air.
Alrighty then, so I've concluded the battle, and left two for Temujin to surprise XD So, grab some guns, and let's raid this hideout peeps ^^
I'm gonna f**cking kill you, Silus... Knew it was too good to be true. Should've just capped him in the cantina, save us all the trouble... Luckily for the group, Jax had been quite intuitive and used his body as cover for them, saving a few of his companions from a deadly volley of fire. Shouts from the other side of the room from the bandits erupted loudly, as they panicked from the sight of the huge machine. "You didn't say there'd be f**king battle droids, Jousa!" Their ranks broke too, as Korrin flew in, whirling his stingers through the air in majestic precision, more akin to a complicated dance than lethal close quarters combat. As for the sniper, they hadn't fired at them in a while...

The sniper was lining up shots on the group when the ledge started to chip and crack from shots dangerously close to her head. She looked into the direction of the fire, seeing a lone figure professionally walking along slowly, yet firing continuously and methodically with unnatural accuracy. 'Who the hell is that?' She said aloud to herself, as she fired two rounds back at him, going wide of actually getting a hit. She ducked down, and reloaded, before popping up to see his position now. This proved to be a lethal mistake, as a round slammed into her head right at that moment, killing her instantly. Her body flew back as the back of her head exploded out, and she fired a shot into the sky, before hitting the ground with a loud thud.

With the chaos, Kintya had failed to notice Silus at first, due to the bull man caving a wall in right beside her: With his head? Damn, that's pretty bad ass, actually, she thought aloud to herself, and began to move towards the new escape route. Wait, what the hell is that box? She started to move back, thinking it was an explosive charge, when a map popped into existence and showed red dots along the roof, with weapon stats and types indicated for each dot. Who left this here... Kintya looked up, and saw Silus, firing in the direction of the sniper. Damn, can't believe I doubted you for a second, Bounty Hunter.

the thugs had had enough, and one of them, an insect like creature, had it's throat slit by Korrin, throwing up a massive pile of tentacles and clutching it's throat before crumpling to the ground. "Screw this, Jousa! I'm out! You win, assholes!" The remaining two thugs, the ringleader and another slug man, began to retreat down the stair well and run through the next floor for their lives, unaware of Temujin running in the opposite direction towards them.

The smoke cleared, and Kintya huffed happily, glad to be alive still. She holstered her gun, and let the silence swarm over her, peaceful and envigorating. "Alright, give a shout if you're not dead. Oh and Silus, get down here so I can either kick your ass for setting up the ambush, or hug you for these new guns." She picked up the holo recorder, placed it on the table for all to see and started to procure the various weapons. "Alright. First in, best dressed. Santa Silus up there has new toys lying around the place, just for us, so grab what you can. Oh, and Elin, we'll call it even now, yeah?"
Btw, if my character seems like an ass hole to some of you guys, sorry in advance. Don't expect him to be too approachable at first XD
Memories coursed through Kradis, as he sat on the stairs of the sleeping quarters just outside the Parvan, He ran a finger down the picture found in the silver pendant, and a twinge of... Something, caused Kradis to shiver ever so slightly. He than ran his hand down his face, along the scar that crossed his eyebrow and down his cheek bone, in remembrance of that fateful day. Kradis looked up, into the blazing Arvaran sun, felt the wind through his short, crew cut hair, and noted how he was still unused to the heat of Landren, as it tore through him and made him sweat more than most. Whatever the cause, Kradis had concluded long ago that he would most likely never get used to this heat, or anything that goes on in this land, for that matter.

He got up, and made his way to the Parvan's Claw, slipping a tab of Overdrive when he was sure no one was looking. He held it under his tongue, and felt his face go warm, his ears hot and energy flowing through his tired, aching limbs. The dust caked his fur, and stung at his eyes, as he walked passed various tents and buildings, on his path to his new home. Loud conversation pierced his ears, as he heard his name mentioned between two soldiers and a mechanic:

"...How can you be sure?"
"He's not a spy, man. He's been here for ages. Kradis isn't a good person though, that's for sure. Heard he was a part of the Empire's little 'dog catching' service, did some really messed up shit in his time..."

Hushing themselves and moving out of his way as Kradis walked past, he said nothing, and pretended to have not heard their discussion. Inside though, Kradis was now pissed off. But he did nothing, and boarded the Parvan. He made his way to the loading ramp, and saw a face he remembered from his placement notice: Colonel Blade, his new team leader. Accompanying him was a tiger, who Kradis guessed was probably one of his team mates. He looked young, and Kradis hoped that his inexperience didn't get them into trouble. He walked up to them, and snapped to attention, saluting Blade.

"Officer Kradis Topha, reporting for duty, sir." He then glanced at the tiger, and his ear twitched, as he spoke to him in a 'somewhat' friendly voice. "New blood? Try not to get yourself killed, kid. Or anyone else, for that matter."
^Better grab one of the weapons then, so you don't miss out on too much XD
Haha, that's fair enough ^^ Weapons are expensive :P
