I'm know he's a separate character I was just wondering how to explain his presence. Though I suppose if we do go ahead with my plot plan there could be some demensional rifts lying around.
Link has come to town. Come to save the Princess Zelda
2x post
Navi observed the reactions her accusations brought forth on Midna's face. She saw amusement there and something else, something harder to name, then Navi found the word, disbelief. Midna did not accept Navi's claims. She had not denied them but rather did not hear truth in them. Was it possible that the Twili had edited the events from their history? They were from what Navi knew a proud people but surely that would not stretch to falsifying their mistakes. Before Navi could say anything else Link stood up to speak. He described his own power and the potential danger Midna's was playing upon the Country. Navi knew this as another tactical error in a debate but these thoughts fled her mind as she heard his voice resound around the square. She could hear _his_ voice in the speech that Link gave. Along with a thousand others but Navi heard his loudest and it brought a smile to her normally serious face. It was Midna's response that surprised Navi, up until this point Midna's had been nothing but professional. Now she let the debate grow personal and while her argument held merit any onlooker would think that she wished to abolish the Cycle of the Hero out of spite. Because her world never had the protection of the Goddesses she wished to strip it from this land as well. Navi was prepared to raise her own counter argument when the sky above seemed to shatter. An enormous mass crashed into the Town Square shattering paving stones and sending almost everyone to their knees. Navi was one of the few to keep her footing. The beast in front of them seemed to have been brought on by Midna's associate, perhaps as some sort of demonstration of her power. It was clearly ill timed. Navi knew the beast even if she had never seen one. It was an Arrghus, they preferred damp environments such as swamps. Their skin was harder than rock. The only way to kill it was a blow to the eye. Knowing this the Arrghus protected its eye with a swarm of smaller Arrgi. They would have to be dispatched first. Navi gave a respectful bow to Princess Zelda. "Apologies my Lady, I must assist in the battle. I trust you can handle yourself." With that said the fairy wings, delicate as wet paper yet surprisingly durable peeled themselves off Navi's back and carried her into the air. It was not often she flew in human form. When she'd first learned how to change forms flying like this had been a thrill, feeling the wind rush through her hair the novelty had worn off several hundred years ago. Now she only used her full sized wings in combat situations. She flew several meters above the beast her skin shining more than ever. It felt freeing to be in the air again, as if the winds were turning away the dark magic that had made her sick. Navi needed to fight. Fairy magic by nature was not violent but everything must take on roles not suited to them. Fairy magic was also among the most ancient and primal of the powers that exist. A great part of that magic was contained in the most ancient of sorcery, the power of music. Hovering over the creature Navi opened her mouth and began to sing. She was not aware of anything that happened on the ground, she did not see the Princess vanish nor Link and Dark Link armed themselves for battle. All that existed was the music. The song she sung was breath taking and heart breaking. It was in no language anyone present would understand and yet it spoke of loss and sorrow, pain and suffering, separation from those you love. As she sung time stood still and all even the hardest hearted present were captivated by the song. Even the beast paused. It's protective Arrgi drifting away from it as the music ensnared them. The song was over too quickly but it had done its job. The beast was vulnerable. Everyone present would shake the power of the notes from them in a matter of seconds but with any luck the beast being devoid of any sort of real intelligence would not become away for several minutes. If someone present acted fast Arrghus could be dealt with swiftly. "Link!" She yelled being unsure exactly where he was. "This is an Arrghus. I've gotten rid of the spheres that shield the main body, you can attack the eye."
Wait but isn't Ravio the alternate Lorule version of Link? How are we going to explain that? Oh and you forgot Mikau in the list of active characters, and The Hero's shade in the list of dead ones.
Probably Link but if no one minds I'd like to stun it with fairy magic first.
Might not be a bad idea to post a new interest check. People tend to not open the ones with more than thirty posts cause they think the RP is already in full swing.
Hey guys, so I was thinking up an over arching story for the roleplay since we've sort of just had isolated incidents and meetings up until now. We've got a good world going and all the main character's are present but other than the usually Evil Vs Good thing (which is looking to be more political at the moment) we don't actually have a plot, the thing that Link was summoned by the Goddesses to do this time. So I've been brain storming and this is what I came up with. I sent the idea to Zmerr and he seemed enthusiastic but he thought it best that I share it in the OOC and get everyone's opinions. Alright here's the idea:

In Hyrule once every three hundred years, give or take, there is an event called the Convergence. This is when all of the realms connects to Hyrule, the Twilight Realm, The Golden Realm, the Dark World, Termina, Labrynna, Holodrum, The World of the Ocean King, and Above the Sky Barrier all come into alignment with Hyrule. This means that the walls that separate these worlds are at there weakest point during the Convergence. This is not necessarily a bad thing. Natural disasters such as earthquakes are more likely to occur and permanent portals to other worlds such as the Mirror of Twilight could be forged at this time. The Convergence itself is nothing particularly dangerous. It comes and goes every few centuries with no major harm done.

However this time is different. When the Convergence comes the barriers between the worlds don't stop weakening. They continue to get closer and closer to failure and if they do fail all of the worlds would become mashed together. Hundreds of different forms of magic, people, places, even physically land all mixed together in a big melting pot. It would be a disaster the likes of which Hyrule has never seen. Once the Walls Between the Worlds fail there is nothing that can restore them. It would be like trying to separate food coloring and water.

The Fairies are aware of the situation, as such they have cut all dimensional connections with Hyrule except for there Primary found in the roots of the Great Deku Tree. In consequence all the Fairy Fountains across Hyrule have dried up and all the fairies have been recalled (except Navi cause she's an outcast). Out of respect for their friends and allies the Kokiri the Fairy Realm has sent replacement fairies to act as the Kokiri's guides but those are the only fairies left to be found in Hyrule other than Navi. These actions on the part of the Fairy Kingdom can only slow the collapse of the Walls.

My thoughts would be that some sort of antagonist, a sorcerer is using the Convergence to collapse the walls for his own reasons whatever they may be. He can be a cannon character that someone wants to pick up, a character currently involved in the RP (Vaati seems like a good choice) or else someone entirely new but that's part of the story I figure would be better left to the group.

In any case in order to restore the wall before they collapse Link must collect a number of sacred artifacts (I was thinking fragments of the tablets from Skyward Sword) one of which is an heirloom of the royal family, the rest would be scattered through a number of other realms, the Twilight and Fairy Realms being good choices given some of our characters ties there but there are other options as well, personally I like the Sacred Realm deep in the Temple of Light since it was never shown in Ocarina of Time. I also like the Dark World. It shouldn't be hard to figure out a reason that it still exists.

So what does everyone think? All thoughts are welcome, positive and negative. Do you think this could work?
Name: Terra Branford
Game: Final Fantasy VI
Short description of abilities: A half esper with powerful inherent magic abilities, usually centered around offensive fire magic and healing though at later levels she learns magic involving holy energy, gravity and petrification. As a half esper she is capable of taking on a full esper form for short periods of time. During this transformation her stats double granting her much stronger abilities. While in this state however her magic becomes more violent and harder to control, she may end up hurting allies and even herself and as such does not use it except in the most dire circumstances. Her magical abilities scare her and she has some issues controlling them. She was given the nickname the Reluctant Destroyer by her commander, a cruel man named Kefka for the way that she would injure friend as well as foe when she attempted to help using her powers.
Appearance:
The white creature in the background is her esper form.
Well we've got a cowboy, an andriod, some sort of space assassin, a half esper and a combat engineer. This'll be interesting.

Also Lugubrious, it's your turn to post in Zelda.
