Well now I've wasted a full hour and thirty minutes... *sigh* I will erase the post and once I have been more informed of wheretf we are in the story, I will try again...:(

Sorry, I know that last Link post sort of seemed like a time skip to the next morning with him going to sleep and all but Navi and Zelda are still awake. We're actually working on a collab right now. After that collab the timeskip to morning will go ahead. FYI more than likely the party will be sleeping in the wagon cause there's a festival on and all the inns will likely be booked to ceiling.
@JDizzle383 All the heroes are linked by the Triforce. The same can't exactly extend to Shadow Link. I know he's Link's mirror image but I don't believe he'd have access to a sacred space occupied by the heroes of legend.

That and Link is neither in an inn, nor is it morning.
If its internal don't put quotes around it. I wasn't the only one to make that mistake. Luke actually responded to one of you're internal thoughts. Quotes can also very easily mean stress points and since Shiro is always stressed having speech in that color wouldn't be abnormal.

Also Sapphire's getting nasty.
Sapphire Rode - Math Class

Sapphire walked into the class and took a seat in the row above Team BASL. Sapphire was not a mathematician but she could follow along with the teacher well enough and as long as she paid attention the lessens made an impression. Actually doing the homework was another matter but that was for a different time.

Sapphire couldn't help but listen in on BASL's conversation. She always listened to everything she could. It might have been a byproduct of being sometimes blind or just a result of her father's training. Regardless when Emerald asked which parent the team thought she took after, obviously in rhetoric, Sapphire could help but speak. "You're mother evidently. Hawk faunus generally have their wits about them." It wasn't that Sapphire particularly disliked Emerald but the azure haired girl was annoyed by how bubbly the cat faunus was. It did nothing to improve her bad mood.

Moments later Shiro came barreling into the room spouting nonsense about being expelled and being late shattering desks right and left. Sapphire's herself hadn't been hit by flying desks but there was such a pile of them that she could no longer see the board. Sapphire gathered up her stuff and went to sit with Oswald who had just arrived. As she walked she said to the class. "Somebody call the nurses, Shiro happened again. Shouldn't we really just keep them on standby for him. Would save everyone some time." Sapphire set her books down next to Oswald and sat down.

As Napoli strode into the room and made his speech Sapphire had just about had it. With him, with Shiro, with this whole damned day. "Yes Napoli we get it, you're a pompous idiot with a silver spoon stuck so far up your ass you can't sit down properly. Now will you please pick up a desk and pay attention to the teacher."
Want to do a collab?
So Zelda you want to have a talk or should we skip to when Link wakes up.
It occurs to me that Beacon has had an obscene number of drop out and new admits in the first two weeks of the semester.
Historically speaking salt does have uses as a religious purifying element. I never argued that, nor did I argue that salt had links to warding off evil/bad luck/curses. What I did argue was that in actual mythology salt unlike holy water never had any form of active offensive abilities against demons or ghosts. It might be used to ward off spirits or purify your house against them (I will say again that the type of spirits this generally referred to were the ones that made your drink go cold or pushed you off a chair rather than the ones that killed you and your entire family). What I was arguing was that the idea off salt have actual offensive properties against in your face demons or ghosts was invented by Supernatural. It has small ties to actual history and myth much like the Mark of Cain that was presented in the show. I never said that there was no link, what I said was that the one most commonly thought of by people and mentioned earlier in the thread (salt will keep ghosts and demons our of your house) was almost solely invented by Supernatural with just enough historical accuracy to make it appear credible. That was the point I was trying to make and will now stop. If you agree with me great. If you don't that's your right. I don't want to argue about it anymore.
Today I learned that Evil Spirits are not actually Evil Spirits.

Who knew?

What I actually said was that based on culture, translation and mis-translation, context, time period, superstition and religious practices Evil Spirits could mean anything from demons beating down your door to stubbing your toe on the kitchen door.

There was a book I read (sparring you unnecessary plot points) a man was re-thatching his roof after it started leaking when he fell off the ladder and cracked his skull open. The villagers all believed that his wife was a witch and had cursed him to die. If you take that and translate it through a couple of different languages taken out of context it could very easily become "the man was attacked by evil spirits set on him by his wife and was killed".

Just because it says it was used for warding off evil spirits does not mean that it meant literal ghouls and ghosts. It could just as easily have meant bad luck.
