Very beautiful Izzy <3

Oh! How do you get those moving siggies? Did you make them yourself? I'd like to get one.
Izkripp

What an awesome idea!

Also here is a picture of my friend and I that I drew =D And if you are wondering, I am the blonde haha

I haven't stopped smiling since you told me about this. I love how you allow everyone to create their own unique (limited use) NPCs. It's like we get to help you build this world we all love.

Oh! =( Does that mean I won't get to "use" Garret anymore? I miss the silly guy already ;A; We've been in this tussle since before Christmas.

I think this is the fairest way to go; not just for the players, but for those who originally introduced the new content. For Joe Schmoe Average, there is no need to get hung up on mannerisms and such, but for NPCs who are meant to be somebody...there needs to be a system in place to prevent people stepping on each others' toes.

I know nobody would do that intentionally; not in this group. That's why this is brilliant. It lets us all flag our NPCs so that this never happens at all.

Kudos to Kirra for (once again) coming up with a compromise which can help everyone.
Gloria Lieth - Cafeteria

There weren't many factionless that survived for any length of time. If you lasted longer than a month your were skilled, if you lasted more than two Gloria would remember there names. She hadn't seen many, herself Edmond, Hypolyta before she'd told her soul and this kid. Gloria didn't really like him. Maybe it was because he sold out to the factions. He kept himself safe by delivering messages as a neutral party between the various faction leaders. Gloria would like to think her dislike and distrust of him was because he involved himself with powers that she found unsavory, she would have loved to claim the moral high ground but the truth was that she hated him because his power out of everyone's in the prison still functioned even under the effects of the ability dampeners. Gloria knew that she would easily kill if it meant being able to run free and slip through the foundation of the world once more. Still it didn't hurt her to be responsive.

After Gloria had been removed from school because of her abnormality she'd had a lot of free time on her hands. She'd go down to the pool halls, walk the town but she wasn't foolish. If she was going to survive and make something of herself after she escaped home she'd need the skills that high school taught that she wasn't getting. She'd taken some legitimate online classes but mostly she'd just learned the things that interested her. For a time she'd had some interest in the realm of disabilities, the blind, the deaf, the mute. It likely had something to do with her sister's psychosis but the result was that Gloria could in a limited fashion sign in ASL. She wasn't exactly fluent. In fact she probably knew less than two hundred words but it was enough to hold a simply conversation with a deaf or mute person. It was common knowledge that the Messenger's voice didn't work and he had to borrow everyone else's. Since powers usually developed in the teen years Gloria thought it likely that he also could sign.

Without looking at him Gloria set her spoon down and started to move her hands. You don't have to do that." she signed to him before resuming eating. There was a loud sound across the cafeteria and Gloria turned to look at a girl toss her food onto the floor. Gloria moved like lightning, she dashed to the fallen food picking up the bowl and what was left of the gruel inside. Then she returned to her own place and continued to eat. It was sort of an unwritten rule in the prison that food belonged to whoever could take it and you didn't poison the stock. The prisoners got too little to eat to be able to throw it away like that.

Hey everyone! Trance and I have been talking about a few different things this evening and one thing we spoke about was implementing a new system for NPCs. I will be putting this in the first post for reference down the road but we decided to go with a simple system that will be easy to use and understand.

We will be splitting NPCs into three categories

NPCs in RED are going to be GM/Owner only NPCs
  • Important NPCs and villains that need to be played a certain way for the sake of the story will be in this category. The GMs will have full use of these NPCs even if they are NPCs made and used by another roleplayer if needed.

NPCs in YELLOW will need to have posts pre-approved
  • These will be regular tiered NPCs or villains that will be set into motion and played by the GMs (or a player if appropriate). With given consent for a post (or chapter in some cases) or having a post looked at by one of the GMs prior to posting (PM or Skype both of us), actions and dialogue from the NPC is okay.

NPCs in GREEN can be used by anyone
  • These will be regular or minor tiered NPCs or villains that will be set into motion and played by the GMs or a player if appropriate. Unless asked in the OOC not to use the NPC for a period of time (post or chapter), everyone can post actions and dialogue for the NPC as long as the character is played realistically to the way the GM (or player) set the NPC into motion.

There will NPCs that won't have any of these three colors but will only apply to the no named (for the most part) NPCs that come and go as needed and can be introduced and used by anyone that will be used to fill in gaps and populate the roleplay (ex. shop clerk, TSP personnel, etc.)

The first time in the first few posts a character is introduced, the colors will be used in the IC and will also be displayed in the NPC roster once it is updated. For the time being, we will be implementing this for characters that are already introduced so that you will know which NPC fits in what category.

I look forward to hearing about them! I'll be gone from 5-8ish pst but I'll be in and out on skype if you are going to be around before or after that.

I'm excited to see how things will play out!
BlessedWraith (Weaver)

It has a lot of potential. I'm looking forward to this story arc.

Good points being made. Kirra, I have some ideas for you when you're available. In the meantime, I'm cooking up a post for our two MIAs. Or would they be POWs at this point?
dpickle

I got my post up, Pat seems to have gotten some grasp of how his power works, though still doesn't have the details. I'm still very interested in what's going on in the Sam/Chris storyline. Lots of interesting possibilities.
Kirra

Here's the link!

I look forward in seeing the character sheet! If you need the link to the NPCs I can message that over to you.

Good work everyone! I'm enjoying the progress we are making. After Dpickle posts (or Monday if that comes sooner) I'll be getting my post up.
