Celestial bronze and Imperial gold don't exist in as you say true mythology and I'm going to shut up now cause the GM is yelling at us.
Shut up and go away cause you're in charge, I get it. It's not like it's the first time.

Just answer me this, if you're disregarding its purpose why include the godgiven metals? Why not throw them out too?
Using that logic it would be perfectly fine to use the mythology to add to the world but blatently disregarding the source material brcause you want a silver sword isn't taking from the true mythology. The books were born of the mythology as well, Riordan did a lot of research into a subject that isn't always clear on a lot if points but I do know that there is never a mention of silver having any sort of magical properties. That is common legend but it is not part of greek myth.

If you want a silver weapon that much then say it was mined from the fields of punishment and cooled in one of thd damned rivers or the metal was melted down fro hunters weapons left behind or something but don't go ignoring the natural rules because you want a special sword

Athena tricked Hera into breastfeeding Hercules when he was an infant granting him immortality. There are a handful of variations on the subject but that is the favoured one.

Medusa was decapitated with a sword granted to Perseus by the gods, not a normal blade.

But putting all of that aside there is never any mention of silver having an effect on anything in greek mythos. Oh and the special thing about the maguc metals is there ability to dust greek monsters.
While in true mythology silver has many powers nothing is ever said of it in greek mythology.

In greek mythology it is true that people defeat monsters with common weapons however majority of common weapons were forged from bronze and copper which if mined from mount Olympus wound make them celestial bronze weapons. Hercules was able to kill beast with his bare hands because he was immortal having drunk the breast milk of Hera.

When civilization moved on the sacred metals were left behind but in the times greece they would have been considered common and it would have been unnessesary to mention what the weapon was made with.

Magical Metals (also called Blessed Metals) are metals that can be used by Greek and Roman Demigods andimmortals to fight against monsters and other evil creatures, as well as gods and other demigods. The Greek Gods and demigods use Celestial Bronze, while the Roman Gods and their children use Imperial Gold. Hades, those who live in the Underworld, and some of his children (like Nico di Angelo) use Stygian Iron. Demigods use weapons made of these metals, because these metals are the only materials by which a monster can be harmed.

Celestial Bronze:
Celestial BronzeCelestial Bronze is mined from Mount Olympus, then forged by the Cyclopes, tempered in the heart of Mount Etna, and cooled in the River Lethe. The metal does not harm mortals, considering them not important enough to injure, but is strong enough to cut through a steel door. It is also been mentioned that this metal glows when in weapon form. It can also be melted down to make other weapons, such as bullets, as seen in The Titan's Curse.

Imperial Gold:
Imperial GoldIvlivsIt is unknown where Imperial gold is mined from, but it is be consecrated it in the Temple of Jupiter on Capitoline Hill in Rome, as stated by Midas in The Lost Hero, and forged at the Temple of Jupiter at Camp Jupiter. The metal is extremely rare, but very powerful. It is also quite volatile. It is also thought that because of the blessing of Jupiter these weapons are more effective againstVenti. This metal is favored by Roman Demigods. Whether the Roman aspect of the Gods carry weapons made of Imperial Gold or Celestial Bronze is unknown.

Stygian Iron:
Stygian ironA metal rarer than both Celestial Bronze or Imperial Gold. It's forged in the Underworld and cooled in the River Styx. It is possible that only people or beings of the Underworld can wield this metal (Hades, his children, and other beings that live in or are associated with the Underworld). Where weapons made from the other Blessed Metals cause monsters to disintegrate, Stygian Iron absorbs their essence, causing them to either not being able to reform ever again or take a longer time to reform. Like Backbiter, it can also harm mortals. Like Celestial Bronze, it also gives off a faint light.

Silver:
Although silver is not regarded as a magical metal, it is the only known weapon able to harm lycanthropes.  It is also unknown whether Stygian Iron can also hurt them

Okay this is about the silver weapon again. I looked into it and while silver does have certain properties such as being able to kill a werewolf were celestial bronze cannot it is not actually capable of killing a greek monster. The hunters of Artimas use silver to wound monsters during the hunt so they may capture them and remove trophies before killing them with celestial bronze knives. Silver weapons while capable of harming greek creatures can't actually kill them.
Sure we're still open and don't worry about the OOC, for the 25 pages we've talked there's only about 3 or 4 pages of actually useful information though you might want to read everyone's CSs.

Oh and since a member backed out we have an opening for the Tok'ra.
That works for me.
Sure but I'm going to need more information. How about you write up a rough CS and I'll give you some pointers.
You still didn't answer my question, if she's a human hybrid were did the other half come from.

Also hating demons is not a valid reason to be recruited for a government black ops division.
Depends entirely on two things, what kind of human hybrid is it and why is the D.I.S not killing it on sight.
