Dexter laughs just for the enjoyment of this moment. He popped a chip in his mouth savoring the delicious flavor much like she savored the banana. She seemed to love the fruit wondering how one could love a fruit that much. Then again most humans were weird with their tastes too. Some enjoyed things with a spicy kick, others liked things sweet, some couldn't stand a certain vegetable, others loved raw sea food. And seeing as she said her people came first, he figured it must be something written in their genetic code or something. He tried not to stare that often while she enjoyed the banana, but sometimes his eyes wondered to her anyway unable to stop himself.
Natalie looks at Justin a little surprised but allowed him to take over breakfast. She hadn't much help so had gotten used to doing everything herself. Not that the kids got off doing something. But it was mostly her that handled the adult stuff. "Thank you." She says with a smile honestly grateful.
