I'm trying to think of a way to get Michael smoothly into the group without being ridiculous like:

"Hey, I'm Michael" he said, inexplicably materialising from the air and pulling out a pair of sunglasses from his pocket. "I kill walkers with hatchets and eat cans of soup... And I'm all out of soup." he stated putting on the sunglasses as a bald eagle flew over his head screeching.

It's something somebody who is trying to be politically correct fails to realize comes across as kinda racist, since it basically reads "anybody but whitey", regardless of context and groups every other ethnicity into one boat.Because I'm sure there's no distinction worth noting between say a Jamaican black dude and a Hong Kong native other than they don't lack skin pigment.

No, I think what Oscario means is that walkers wouldn't 'die' from a broken neck, even if you decapitate their heads, the head still keeps going. They'll probably just keep coming but with a severely floppy neck and paralysis in certain areas of the body, even so, they'd still be able to bite.
