Current It's been a while since I roleplay'ed. With filing for unemployment, a lot of free time has opened up. I hope I can join despite the rep sheet I have for being inactive for some time.

Just as you press YES (yes, you need to press it) a new message replaces the old:

“Entering the Character Creation Process..."

NOW WHAT THE HELL DOES THIS MEAN- you may ask. It's fully aware you have been created before by your mother and father's love-making. They probably told you many times you are perfect and you naively trusted them. I mean, that's some confidence you have.

...Hm...

But I doubt it. Can you say with full confidence you are perfect? Maybe you wanted to be slimmer or taller? Maybe you wanted to be more chunky or more flexible? There might have been a time where you wanted bigger boobs or a longer- you get the point.

Here’s your only chance to fulfill all of those fantasies, and even more! You can become a tall monkey, a short orc, or even a skinny elephant. You could even just switch genders- I know who you are. So go on ahead and build your perfect self. We don't judge here.

As you float... colorful buttons and switches appear around you. What was previously a pitch black void of death was now dyed in a cloudy combination of white and blue. So many buttons and switches were available and they were designed to change specific things. One button's sole purpose was freckles and button was focused on dimples. It was a buffet made entirely to give you a new image.

-Character Sheet-

Paint yourself like one of those anime girls...

Character Concept: Describe yourself in one short to medium sentence. Like "A dense protag who doesn't realize all the girls in his surroundings want his di.. his cooking dish."

Name: This one is simple. Write down the name by which you want to be known in this world. You can pick your Earth name, but that would be boring. Nobody likes boring people.

Gender: Are you a boy or a girl? Maybe neither? Or both? Hey, it’s a fantasy world, you can find all kinds of stuff.

Background: Tell us about yourself. What did you do in your Earthly life? How do you feel about your death? What are your plans for the future?

Level: This is your character level. As you do stuff you grow more powerful and it reflects in your level. You start at level 1.

Class: Hey, it’s a fantasy role-play, it just wouldn’t be right without class system! Don’t worry too much: you make your own class and it has no actual influence on your development, its purpose is descriptive.

Race: Similarly to the Class field, you make up your own race. Now you can be that extraterrestrial transgender leprechaun you always wanted to be! Isn’t that great?

Attribute: There are 3 attributes: Force, Finesse and Focus. Because modern kids dislike math and number crunching, we will not be having an actual stat system. Instead, you pick one attribute and it serves as a descriptor of your physical and mental abilities. Here’s what each attribute means:

Force: You rely on brute strength and overpowering your opponents- when thing gets tough you endure the pain and push through the obstacle.

Finesse: You are a more tactful sort, relying on speed, stealth and good positioning to carry you through trouble.

Focus: You’re a wizard Harry! This attribute is not actually required to cast spells, but it means your spells are more powerful and you can use them more than others.

Below are 3 categories of supernatural powers you can possess. At the start you can either have 3 Techniques, 3 Spells or 1 Power. During the course of the RP you'll get both more abilities of the same category and abilities of other categories.

Martial Arts: A type of supernatural abilities where practitioner learns to instinctively channel magic within his body through training his body and meditation. Individual Martial Art ability is called Technique.

Thaumaturgy: Good old wizardry. Thaumaturgy is usually earned through diligent study of magic for years, decades even and wizards use it by channelling their spells with chanting and hand signs. Abilities of Thaumaturgy are called Spells.

Gift: A blessing from the Gods, a curse, an inborn power or something along the lines, Gift is a single supernatural power which doesn’t fall into either of the above categories. Unlike Martial Arts and Thaumaturgy where you can have multiple Techniques/Spells, your Gift only has one Power, though that power may be further developed as you grow stronger.

Equipment: You’re dead. You got nothing. Nothing! Well, a few things. But you may acquire other things on your journey around the world, so this field here is where you’ll list all weapons, armors and other such items in your possession.
Disclaimer:
This is not of my own idea. Story is that one user named Medjedovic made an amazing role-play called "I died and reincarnated into fantasy world- WHAT'S WITH THIS LIGHT NOVEL-LIKE SETTING!?!". He disappeared and his role-play died as it was reliant on GM's commands. It was a fun role-play and I am resurrecting the fun. This is not just copied and pasted. I took the time to remodel it.

I Died & Reincarnated Into- What is Up With This World!?

I apologize to inform you that you have died. It's a real bummer. A tragedy. Eh, not really. I can only say, "Tough shit." That may seem insensitive, but we cannot dawdle on depressing things. You are probably expecting a dark tunnel with a white light at the end accompanied by grandma's voice, right? Well, things are heading to a different plan. You have an option before you. Choose the answer that you see fit and prepare to have a second chance.

“GAME OVER.

RESTART IN ANOTHER WORLD?”

The whole thing looked like it was taken from the video games you used to play, except for the question about restarting in another world. What's with that? Shouldn’t it say “restart at the last checkpoint”? Hm, guess not. Right bellow the question there were two buttons:
-[YES]- and -[NO]-.

It is most definite you have chosen yes. Why is that? Because this story needs you to! There cannot be any progress if you decide to stay dead. It's time to leave your old life behind and begin a new one. Judging from your past life, it could be an improvement or...maybe you were better off staying dead. It's time to begin the character creation process.

August stepped forward as the battle had caught his interest. He wiped his sweaty brow and clenched his fists. The speedy pirate thought he was safe from a distance, but there was no telling at his point. "Did he say he was a warlord of the sea?" The pirate changed his expression immediately when learning of that information. There was certainty that the cuffed man did say he was a schichibukai.

"To think, I was trapped in a room with one of the warlords." August slammed his fist against the wall he was leaning onto. He began rationalizing the situation. "Okay, so they are known for their immense strength," August had heard plenty of rumors concerning the warlord's capabilities, but he was not fully convinced.

"Maybe all of it is just rumor," Fletcher muttered. He kept placed at his position and prepared himself in case the schichibukai brings the fight closer. So far it looked like was interested in one person. August could hear faint noises, but he ignored them and tried staying focus on the mallet guy.

He was stunned by the immediate pirate crew. The ship was coming at them and he didn't have enough time to react. "It's just one problem after another. Now we have the pirates to deal-" The vessel was immediately destroyed by the mallet-using pirate. The broken ship was proof enough of the warlord's capabilities.

"I guess it wasn't rumor after all," August joked. "I need to get off this ship." The incoming ship had caused minor damage, but it was enough to have the ship begin to sink. Most of the new pirates were knocked out or had died upon impact. The problem was still the schichibukai, unless he had some type of emotional personality change.

August began jogging towards the side of the ship. He eyed the railing he had to jump over to get to the other ship. He didn't doubt there was an open distance between this ship and the adjacent one. As he was nearing the railing, he picked up speed. Sprinting at full, he managed to use his legs to jump a lengthy amount. August soared over the water and landed onto the ship with ease.

He looked back to eye the schichibukai's next move...
As August walked back outside, he was stunned at the sight of conflict. He backed himself against a wall instinctively and kept his observation at a silent level. There was not much to infer from the battle. It looked like the crazy guy from before chose to fight one of the pirates.

Relaxing his muscles, he kept watching the two fight. The crazy guy was equipped with this giant hammer; there was no telling where he had pulled that from. His opponent was a female pirate carrying a sword. Other than that, there was nothing August could speculate.

August decided it was better to view the people on board. Interfering wasn't going to help him in the slightest, and viewing the others might give him more of an idea of what he is temporarily stuck with.
August slammed his fist against the desk; he was in disbelief that there was nothing of value. "What kind of pirate crew doesn't have maps or treasure?" His finger danced through the books on the shelf. Sucking his teeth, he began to complain. "I can find books anywhere."

Fletcher was planning to pocket most of his findings. What the female captain didn't know wouldn't hurt her. Fortunately, there was nothing for him to pocket saving him the trouble of lying. "How much do these books go for?" August picked a book out of the shelf; he blew the dust of it and began skimming through the pages.

"I'm really not going to anything for this," he said as he threw the book on the desk. Fletcher walked out back to the deck and chose to see how everything else was going.
I can trip over her with a second post?
Fletcher's right brow began twitching. He was uncertain of the individual's identity. She had a few bandages on her presenting her fighting spirit and she did look rough around the edges. August took one look to the left and one look to the right. "Are you taking responsibility for the rescue? I'm sure you didn't even know I was down there. If I had to thank anyone, it would have to be-"

It was at that moment the woman who had unlocked the door collapsed onto the floor. "That's my savior," he pointed at the unconscious woman. "She didn't put much into the conversation in the cage. Kind of put all her focus on the lock-pick." August cupped his hands into his mouth. "Isn't that right, Crazy?" He shouted at the cuffed man spewing nonsense.

Fletcher heard the woman begin to bark orders. He tapped his chin a couple of times. "Captain's cabin? I've been prisoned on here for some time. I think I know where it is; I'll go search there." Drawing a smile, he began to walk toward that direction.

August crossed his arms. He analyzed the last standing pirates; the other party of pirates managed to beat his captors. There was no need of Fletcher to stay, but he had no idea of where he was at. August didn't owe these guys anything; the woman was the individual who managed to break them free.

Pushing his hands away from him, he popped his fingers and knuckles. "Alright, so do any of ya'll know where I am at? I kinda of have other arrangements." He checked his wrist and acted if there was a watch strapped on to him. "Turns out I should've been out of here five minutes ago."
He's dead. It's better just to start the roleplay from scratch. I was thinking of creating something similar or just c&p'ed it and give recognition to its original author.

His last post was the one where he said he was going to make an update so one can only assume he's gone.
@Draconequis

The geodude staggered a bit in the air after the brutal combo of vine whips; he wasn't about to let his opponent get the best of him. This was its mindset before a flash had emanated from the fields of grass. It caught the rock pokemon off guard and it then suffered a fatal headbutt. The geodude tried picking itself up in the air, but its body was too heavy. Collapsing onto the floor, it retreated back into its pokeball.

"What?! How dare you!?" The criminal clenched his teeth and formed a fist on both hands. He was not thrilled one of his pokemon had fainted. Looking to his houndour, he could see it was still conscious, but the attack had done a number on him. The houndour barely survived the fairy-type attack. "You'll pay for that! Houndour, give it all you got! Foul Play!"

The houndour straightened its back and growled at the ghost pokemon. Leaping side to side, it charged forward and readied its strike. Its plan was to direct the strength of its opponent right back to its target. The higher the target's attack, the greater the damage.

Oddish was airborne and landed at Edward's feet. The trainer was uncertain of how to battle with this mankey. His pokemon was timid and this monkey-pokemon was determined to fight. The best strategy Edward could think of was to keep at arms away from the fighting-type. "Oddish, hit him with poison powder!"

It might have been from the attack, or that it was a ranged attack, but there was a confidence boost in the Oddish. A slight of hesitation was present; however, the oddish succeeded in sporing out purple rain. The mankey had unfortunately breathed in the spores and began coughing roughly. It began turning a sickening purple.
