August stepped outside and was hit by the sunlight. It had been a while since he had seen the outside. "I'll never get tired of the ocean view," he chuckled under his breath. Looking at the sky, he admired the beauty the clouds had to offer. For a moment, he ignored the battle that was occurring.

He analyzed the situation and noticed another ship nearby. It seemed the current ship he was on was being invaded by a rival pirate crew. Overall, August could not be in a worse environment. What was he to do? August couldn't leave the battlefield since he was trapped in the middle of the ocean.

Two opposing forces and he had no idea who either of the groups were; the best strategy was to hang back and just fight if confronted.
August widen his eyes and raised his eyebrows; he averted his attention to the crack in the wall and fist repeatedly. Rotating his arm around, he massaged his bicep and admired his own strength. "I guess I don't know my own power," he chuckled. August watched as another underling signaled for their boss. The guy looked honestly concerned for his own being. This was unlike something August experienced; he typically wasn't a guy to be scared of.

It was at that moment the woman sped past him to commence battle with the last man standing. "Now she's someone to be afraid of," August talked out loud and snapped his fingers. Shrugging his shoulders, he figured he was done in this narrow hallway. August pressed his feet onto the ground and began sprinting towards the exit. The remaining pirate would have his hands full with the woman so there was nothing August had to worry about.

"I'll see you at the top," August mentioned as he rushed through the battle.
August could only scratch his head in response. The man was weird from what he could tell. He didn't know what the man meant by becoming a nuisance. From what August could tell, the guy must be a fruit user considering the sea stone cuffs. August titled his head to the side out of the room.

He was surprised to see the guy so care-free; the man just sang and walked by carelessly. "Silver Slugs?" August asked himself. Changing his focus to the woman, he noticed she was having her hands full with the pirates. With a sigh, he figured it'd be best to give her a hand. "I guess I better help out. I can't reap all the benefits," he muttered.

Stepping out into the hallway, he devised a direction to run through. The hallway worked for him considering it was narrow and the enemies were in his direct path. When analyzing the enemies, he found some of them to have either swords or guns. Bending his legs, he chose to rid of the sword fighters first. They could be a bigger nuisance for this battle.

Without so much as a notice, August sped through the hallway quickly and attempted to deliever a punch to one of the sword fighters. His aim was towards the face of the fighter. "Bullet Launch!" He shouted.
August tapped on his chin lightly. He listened to the woman's words as she struggled with the door. He looked at the man that had been sealed. He was more involved with the figurative scenario. The speedster stood up once he noticed the door had opened. Giving a quick applause, he thanked the woman.

"Impressive lock-picking skill. Getting back to the matter on hand, I'm not sure all nobles are ugly. And you're avoiding the question," August mentioned. He stepped back when his ears picked up hostile footsteps and shouting. Before he could say anything, the woman played her sword and challenged whoever was in the hallway.

"After this, she totally owes me an answer," he sighed. He crouched down and slipped his hand under the man's armpit. Pulling him up to his feet, he smiled at the stranger. "Well, guess we better get out of here."

August held one hand out. "But one question, why are you the only one with the sea stone cuffs? The wall and door are made of the material anyways."

@Noxx

None of the prisoners are chained :P

Due to the pirates being careless.

There's also no knife, but Chroma could try opening the lock with a sharp stone or something instead. The room which the prisoners are in is pretty messy.

@Jensoman

Does that mean just Noxx and myself? Or does that also go for the guy in the cell with us too?
@Draconequis

So I've been planning the towns and random events throughout the adventure. So far, I am proud of what has happened. The only thing I worry is your open-minded to anything, right? Like something that wouldn't happen in the pokemon show?
@Draconequis

The criminal jumped out of the tall grass and shrieked. The ghost pokemon had given him a worthy scare. His face had turned an immediate red from anger. It was still hard to see his face due to the darkness and most of his face was concealed by his yellow bandanna. "You think that's funny? I'll show you something scary!" He quickly wiped the sweat off his face and snapped at his Houdour.

"Houndour, eat this creep! Use bite!" The criminal barked and ordered his dog-like pokemon to jump toward the Gengar. This was an effective strategy given the type advantage.

Edward made certain to look as if he had given up. He held his hands up and whispered to Xanthia. "I've never been in this situation. I'm not all familiar with these pokemon. I'll go ahead and take down the dog." Edward slightly lowered his hand. He hoped to see an opportunity and release one of his team members.

Before he could react, he noticed the dog jump towards Xanthia's Gengar. "Never mind, I'll go after the pokemon behind us," Edward used the opportunity wisely and shot his hand down. He slipped his hand into his laptop pocket and chucked it in the air. "Go, Secare!" The trainer was unsure of the Mankey's type; could it be a monkey type?

He figured Secare could take quick work of him. He was agile and quick enough for this energetic ape. A red beam had passed out of the pokeball, but the shape had turned into something else. Edward's eyebrows elevated as he realized he grabbed the wrong pokeball. From the pokeball, Rho had appeared. Edward was uncertain of what his new pokemon could do.

"Rho, use Absorb!" Edward prepared his battle stance. He watched his oddish closely; the grass pokemon looked back at its new trainer. He took a few steps back from the pokemon it was facing and shivered in place. "Oh, no. It has a timid personality," Edward's hand shook. The hesitation had costed oddish an attack as the Mankey had pounced forward and karate chopped the grass pokemon.

August combed his hair back only to have it pushed forward into its original shape. He then wiped his face and his brow with his sleeve. The speedster looked up at the ceiling; he held his hand up once broken pieces of sea stone were falling on him. "Those cannons don't sound good at all."

"I don't really want to be a slave for a noble. If I was to be sold as a slave, I would only hope my master is female," he coughed and into his sleeve and looked up at the ceiling. "I don't think that's a sexist statement; I'm pretty sure anyone would agree with me. I'd rather be whipped and screamed at by a female than a male."

August was known for talking a lot. He figured the best time to spend in a caged room was to build conversation. If this was his final moments of freedom, he might as well use up all of his vocal cords. "I bet you would say the same too," August then elbowed the man beside him in the ribs. "I know your type." August laughed. "But seriously, I don't think I can piggy back a corpulent man on these legs. Maybe a 120 pound female?"

August Fletcher watched the only female in the room picking the lock. He shrugged his shoulders at the attempt; it was better than what he was doing at the moment. He held one finger up and wagged it in the air. "Hey, answer quickly. Would you rather be a slave to a female or male? I need a female's perspective on this. Me, as a man, wouldn't want to be serving another man so would a female be okay serving another woman? This question is of utmost importance."
@Draconequis

And so the two trainer raced towards Shellville...

Edward wiped the sweat off his brow. He fished the map out of his inventory and gave it a quick read. "Says that we are almost there..." Edward told Xanthia. Looking up, he saw some buildings from a distance. "Over there! We're almost there!"

Edward was prepared to quit; it has been a while since he had a break from walking. The previous boat ride to Toppe had made him lazy and unready for the walks ahead. He crouched down and rubbed his ankles to sooth the pain. "My feet are acting up, but I'm glad we've almost made it. Got to take the positive with the negative, am I right?"

Ed kept glancing at the building up ahead. He couldn't make out much of them. The sun had already set and everything was pitch dark. His and Xanthia's eyes have well-adjusted to the darkness to see the path clearly. Although, it was still creepy to be wandering around in the dark. "I'm just ready to get out of this dark. I'm getting paranoid; I think the entire wild life is stalking us," Edward joked.

The rustling in the trees and bushes kept Edward on the edge. It was dark now, the sounds of bug pokemon and nocturnal bird pokemon rang throughout their surroundings. It was an eerie environment.

Edward had suddenly tripped over a rock. "What the-" He stumbled forward and looked back at the object. He glanced at the rock only to notice it levitating off from the ground. Geodude! It screeched.

As if it was some strange chain reaction, two more pokemon had emerged from the dark fields of grass. A Houndour leaped out and landed next to the Geodude. It readied a stance and growled at the two trainers; it showed off its dangerous fangs and haunting eyes. The dog-like monster looked ready to strike.

There was rusting behind the two trainers. A Mankey had appeared from behind. The pokemon performed a back flip and began punching the air around him. Strategically, the Mankey was blocking off the opposite end of road. This was an ambush, but too planned out for a bunch of wild pokemon.

From a distance away, some more bushes were shaking. A person's head popped out of the grass. All that could be seen was a yellow bandanna wrapped around his forehead. "Listen up! Give the Geodude all of your belongings! We can do this the easy way, or the Houndour cooks you and the Mankey tenderizes. Your choice."
Wednesday morning it's yours.
