The Room

*Hanna is disturbed by the way that the scarecrow moves but she doesn't let that distract her to much. She hisses and shoots off a volley of shards at it.*

Hanna: Iris get up!

The Room

*As the scarecrow hits her wings she whips then towards the wall in an attempt to hurl the scarecrow away.*

Haley's attention is taken away from the door when she hears metal objects being placed on a desk behind her. She goes to turn around but she intercepts Meruem signature move half way through her turn. She smiles at the boys enthusiasm nod nods to him. "That makes two of us." She then slowly shifts her gaze to where the metal noises were coming from, to her surprise there's a desk covered in screwdrivers and wrenches.

She turns back to the front of the class not really sure what to think. Who brings wrenches to class? Haley is puzzled by her own question and tries to distract herself by looking at the door and thinking about who's going to be there teacher.

The Room

*Hanna's wings instantly burst from her back and she turns so her wings can absorb the hit from the scarecrow. Her right hand twitches and she waits for the impact.*

*Walter looks up at the crashing sound.*

Walter: Good lord is this place always so chaotic?

Haley watches Meruem walk into the room and she quietly groans as yet another boy walks in. She can't help but smirk at his cocky attitude and already can't wait for a shot to put him in the ground (literally). She goes to say something but stops as she sees the door open again, she crosses her fingers and prays that its another girl. She let out a silent sigh of relief as her praying paid off, tho this girl was rather short almost definitely a head shorter than Haley herself.

She quickly turned back to Meruem now ready with a retort to his challenge. "I'll make sure it's not to easy for you. And the name's Haley." She has no idea what this kids powers are or how good he is at using them, but for some reason she feels that she could take him. She isn't sure if she's overestimating herself or underestimating him.

She smiles to herself before she notices Lucas slumped in his desk. Poor guy... She can't help but feel a little sorry for him, she is used to boys trying to chat her up but this guy seemed even more embarrassed then she was. She then looks back at the short girl and gives a little wave. And finally she sets her gaze back on the door waiting and wondering what hero was going to be their home room teacher.

Haley smiled as Lucas lifted his head off her desk, her cheeks then went a shade of pink when he called her "cute". She made a soft squeaking noise vocalizing her embarrassment. She then nodded as he said he was going to leave, "O-ok." is all she could bring out of her before another new boy entered the room.

I'm so outnumbered! Where are all the girls!? She watched the new boy for a moment before returning his greeting then looking back at the door hoping that the teacher would be there soon. She then heard the chair next to her get moved, this had to be the new kid. She only then realized her cheeks where still slightly pink then she forced herself to calm down.

The Room

*Walter frowns at the whole interaction between Horus and Jillian. He doesn't interject knowing better than to try and stop two worriers from arguing.*

*Hanna kisses Iris on the snout.*

Hanna: Y-yes. Horus is i-in the kitchen g-getting a drink for you.

*Her head darts up when the scarecrow bursts through the door. She instantly jumps of the couch and gets into a defensive stance between Iris and fiddlesticks.*

Haley smiled as her wave was returned and had been looking back at the board when she saw another boy enter the room. She didn't look for too long tho she could still notice the grease on him. Is that really how he's going to show up on his first day? She shrugs the looks back at the board.

Then she hears the sound of a chair moving and turns around to see the first boy walking over to her desk. She internally panics slightly but still manages to greet him with a smile. She can feel his embarrassment and this both gives her confidence and makes her smile get a little wider. "It's nice to meet you to Lucas. My name is Ha---." She was cut off by the abrupt thud of the boys head on her desk. She couldn't contain her giggling.

Her gaze had shifted back to the newest boy as he verbally poked the boy who had face checked her desk. She then looked down at Lucas with a soft smile. "The name is Haley. Are you alright down there?" She had stopped herself from giggling not wanting to embarrass the boy more.

The Room

*Hanna nods to Horus and watches him walk off to the kitchen. Her gaze then falls to the sleepy Iris and she smiles weakly.*

Hanna: M-morning Iris. H-how are you feeling?

*Hanna's eyes show that her smile is forced, she then looks away from Iris and pulls a bottle out and takes a sip. She then quickly puts the bottle away and looks back at Iris this time unable to muster a smile. She can't help but think about what Hugo had said to her.*

The Room

*Hanna shakes her head up at Horus. A grim look covers her face. She speaks in a very quiet voice.*

Hanna: Jackson made sure that t-there b-blood would be toxic. M-my own blood is slightly t-toxic...

*Hanna squeezed Iris a little before crunching her thumb*

*Walter nods. Clearly interested by the subject.*

Walter: Hmmm. Multiple dimensions, interesting. I take it this "thinny" is some kind of portal. Very interesting.
