It's exam season, boys and girls, so postage should be up over the weekend. If you don't hear from me by Monday, honour my memory.

Well then. I'm exceedingly British, rather sarcastic and I love a good shipfest in my RPs. Also male. Funny, that. Fair warning, I will treat you like an adult. That means I will mock you, point out your mistakes and most likely /cringe when you do something really autistic. Being an adult means accepting criticism and working to improve yourself, not ignoring it. And if I need calling out on my bullshit, just do it. Please. Nothing is worse than not realising that you've said or done something stupid til a week after the fact.
I currently live in Japan, so my posting hours are... weird. Please bear with me.
The phone beeped, signalling the end of the morning's disturbance. With a relieved sigh, Satou Wataru unpinned the striped band from his arm and sent a quick confirmation to the Hybrid Academy Judgment office; it had been a bit far afield for him anyway, and the intervention of a co-worker has saved him the hassle. He paused for a moment as a gaggle of girls passed behind him, heading through the Academy's main entrance toward the main hall; for a moment he almost hid himself out of habit... He sighed deeply, squared his shoulders and followed on behind toward the growing crowd registering for their first day.
It didn't take long to get his paperwork in order, rather faster than some of the others he noted; whether that was because of his clean record or the reference Judgement had provided was unclear. Didn't matter. More importantly, he could feel the strength of the local AIM field growing as he passed into the main hall; only a few dozen had arrived so far, alone or in small groups. But there was a certain disparity in power, fountains of energy flowing more heavily from some than others... One in particular drew his attention and the colour drained from Wataru's face as he recognised the iconic cryokinetic Tsurura. To hell with that, he thought flatly, taking a seat on the other side of the hall. The last thing he wanted was to get tangled up with a Level 5 on the first day. Instead he rummaged though his bag, surreptitiously producing a set of knitting needles and yarn, warping their appearance into a book almost without thought. Wataru had found his ability very useful in hiding his rather unmanly hobbies so far, even if it did mean that he couldn't see what he was actually doing...
Blessed with a slender frame and soft features, Wataru is nevertheless much stronger than he looks. He stands a mere five foot and is rarely seen out of uniform even on days off. His hair is long and dark, tied back in an elegant ponytail that reaches to the small of his back.
Name: Satou Wataru
Nickname/Alias: None
Position: Judgement, Junior Member
Faction: None
Seat Number: #19
Nationality: Japanese
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Blood Type: O
Biography: As one of the lucky few to live in Academy City most of his life, Satou Wataru has attended school here since he was a child. He never really stood out much, coasting along comfortably intul the end of middle school where he finally mustered the will to do something with himself. Opting to join Judegment at 14, Wataru spent the next year undergoing the ruthless training regime suffered by all new recruits. By the end of it his confidence had grown immensely, even if his nature as a social satellite had not.
He settled in well with his new co-workers in Judgement's Hybrid Academy branch, earning himself a valued place as an informant and tracker. While his record of arrests was relatively low, his assistance was often a decisive factor when dealing with a delinquent with a strong combat ability. While he had a few good friends within Judgement that he trusted implicitly, Wataru hadn't made much headway with his classmates; something he planned to address in the coming weeks.
Personality: Gentle, relaxed, quiet. While many enjoy the limelight and being the centre of attention, Wataru prefers life on the outskirts of the social group, close enough to join in but distant enough to not be noticed. Despite this, he isn't of a nervous disposition or unsure of himself; he simply enjoys a quiet life without the petty bickering so common among people his age. Wataru's sense of humour is somewhat snide at times, but he generally acts with the best of intentions if not the best of results.
Likes: - People watching - Animals - Reading - Urban exploration - Western food - Outwitting people and people who can outwit him
Dislikes: - Robots - Cameras - Explaining himself - Scary movies
Skills: - Keen eyed observation - English and Japanese literacy - Knitting - Always armed for duty, in one way or another
Ability: Mirage, Level 3 While his ability grants him no real fighting power, Wataru can manipulate the local AIM field to warp what others perceive. Normally he uses it to conceal himself or change his appearance, but can use it to create phantoms to frighten and confuse his opponents, giving him the opportunity to attack in more conventional ways.
Extras: Because his ability is of limited use in combat, Wataru has learnt to be proficient in other weapons to carry out his role with Judgement. His is pretty handy with a wooden cosh and always keeps a taser on his person.
Your faction is JUDGEMENT! I like him and I already got plans for Wataru. He feels like a boy version of Kuroko somewhat, I dunno I think it's just me..
Kuroko is love, Kuroko is life I was sorely tempted to make a Kuroko expy... I'm quite curious about these plans though XD Can I chuck him in the CS tab and get to posting?
Standing off to one side with one hand resting on the hilt of her sword, Pyotr watched YukiHana's fight like a mother-in-law scrutinizing a woman cleaning her son's house. She took the time to analyse every move the girl made, her stance and choice of attacks. Yuki was fast and showed an intuitive understanding of her weapon and its use; her situational awareness was lacking though, Pyotr noted as the girl accidentally pulled another boar, forcing her on the defensive. Deciding that Yuki's display was enough proof for her, Pyotr leapt forward as the mob circled for another charge, bringing her sabre down and slashing up in a tight green <<Arc>>, shattering it into light. She breathed easy as the post-motion wore off, then turned to her adopted charge. 'Alright, not bad. Never seen a dagger user actually pull it off before, truth be told.' She knelt down by the girl, planting the blade of her sabre into the ground to lean on. 'So... Were you in a party before? Did you learn to fight with someone else?' Acknowledging YukiHana's skills was all well and good, but morbid curiosity still plagued her. She was half afraid that she'd hear some horror story of Yuki's past party mates dying on her...
