Smoke trailed out the corner of his mouth as he adjusted his gloves. The air within the room felt thick, tainted with the stench of blood and sweat.

“Sorry, I’ll get it right this time.”

The edge of his lip barely grasped his cigarette, his words accompanied by metallic clanging which ignited a new noise: muffled whimpering.

“Tsk. Save that for when I can finally get through this bone, pussy.”
