Well, my character just isn't really made for these moments. When I joined an RP called war notes, I was expecting more stabby-stabby and less talky-talky. Though, so you know, I plan to have Natus come out of shell, it was just be unnaturally and jarring if it happened suddenly without a reason.
While I do like RPs to be active, it is just that I typically don't like to make posts where really nothing happens or nothing new is added. Though I think now that we are in mission mode, I can be more pro-active.

I would like to suggest that a chat server probably would help. Something that can happen to RPs is an inactivity cascade, where everyone just nervously waits for someone else to make the first post.
Natus stood a bit distant from the rest of the group, not out of a desire to hide from the group, but to be in a better position should the group be attacked. Few things surprised him, however Leblanc saying something so well-reasoned did. Perhaps she was more than just a typically sadist, or maybe she was simply an intelligent sadist.
He decided to opt out of voting and simply leave the decision to the others, unless they would endanger the group with their choice. He was must more familiar with a fixed, established hierarchy than voting for a leader. As much as there was a tactical aspect to choosing a leader, there was a social aspect.
Finis learned to copy and mimic the social behavior of others, however he much preferred to simply stay unseen. It made his line of work much easier.
