Scully "Babyface" Vagabond

As the forest wrapped around the two boys, Babyface only felt more and more at home. The sound of birds and crickets filled the silence, and for once he didn't feel awkward talking to a person- or rather, not talking to a person. His eyes turned back now and again to look at Scully as he followed behind, and his enjoyment slowly shifted into something more calm as he watched the features shift on the dark haired boy's face. His eyes seemed to narrow even more, and for a beat Babyface wondered if perhaps he wasn't a fan of nature hikes.

The worry lasted for only a moment, however, lightness returning to Babyface's face at Scully's reply-- surely someone who liked to climb trees liked nature, right? It didn't even occur to him that Scully said nothing about liking tree-climbing, or that other Scully was bad at lying. Babyface was much too busy being overwhelmed with the idea that someone liked climbing trees as much as he did.

Leaves rustled under the weight of Babyface's dropped book bag, the fair haired boy making his way to a tree. His fingers trailed the trunk, before starting for the next tree and doing the same thing. He stopped at the one, turning to the other Scully and waving him over, sunlight peeking past the leaves and acting as spotlights over his freckles. "This one has a really good view," he said, pointing to the tree where his other hand was still rested against. "I always get it confused with the other one, which is bad cuz that one's got a nest."

Smiling bashfully, he nodded to the tree, "Wanna head up first?"
totally neat!!! supportive of you man, we need more people in the maths and sciences, and im not just saying that bc i have to kill everyone im competing w/ in the art industry lmao

oh but that sounds cool!! much neater than retail, lemme tell you hahahaha,, is being a vet a thing you're into, or are you just taking the job for the job?
LUKE ALTOVITI

The dark haired boy laughed as he read the words-- how could someone be so put off by a charming and smart young thing like Aery? Sure, for a mute girl she had a pretty sharp tongue, and yes, waiting for her reply took a bit of idleness- but Luke liked that! It gave him time to think without sounding stupid, which he did a lot of, admittedly.

Waiting for her to write also gave Luke a lot of deliberating about the whole hand-holding thing. He could feel his palms sweat just thinking about it, wiping them off his pants as he leaned over closer to the dark haired girl. "Four-thirty?" he asked, leaning his elbows on the desk after some vigorous wiping, trying to look much more chill than he actually felt. "Then we got time to kill. Let's go for a walk, maybe?" He flashed his charming smile, adding a, "You don't have to go to Mr. Jordan just yet, right?"

DAVE TRACY

There was a moment of pause as Dave stared at the girl, then at the book. Either she was trying to act really cool about liking one of the most parodied and ridiculed young adult novel, or she genuinely just picked it out and has never heard of it. Both options were kind of laughable, and the blonde haired boy couldn't help but let loose an breathy laugh. Only a second after it left did he realize that the action may have been seen as a bit rude. Not that it mattered- it's not like they were going to talk after this one time in the library.

"It's about vampires," he chimed in, nodding to the book as he grabbed his book bag to lean on it, something familiar in the foreign situation. Tilting his head, he added, "The sparkling kind- you've heard about 'em, right...?"

TEDDY BEAVER

Teddy blinked at being called on, but nonetheless should've expected it, especially when the other side was a certain group of students that he wasn't really all that tight with. Still though, first pick. That was different and admittedly totally unexpected- nonetheless, the brunette joined the others in their teams.

After the groups were chosen, Teddy realized he was much too new to grasp the advantages and disadvantages of everyone around, but assumed that both sides were on the team so it must be evenly divided somehow, right? He also realized- after the group assembled- that the girl (Lilly, was it?) seemed to be well in control despite going against a group of girls that she'd bickered with only a few minutes ago.

He glanced up at the call of her name, his back aching at the huddle, grinning back nonetheless. The grin faltered at Lilly's rise and fall, followed by echoing titters that bounced off the enclosed hall. Teddy, along with others in the group, followed after to try and help her up, but- "Well. Positions, everyone."
A few of the group members laughed at the situation, Teddy himself unable to suppress a grin as he jumped in, Lilly's reaction just as priceless as the fall. He dipped his whole head in to get over the chill, pushing his hair back as he surfaced. Blinking away the water, he followed after the tall girl, noticing only after standing just a step behind her how tall she was- almost as tall as him. Which was strange, given that few guys were that tall, much more girls--

Ahh focus, he told himself, turning his attention to the opposing team, which had started to enter as well, something in their grim eyes and smug smiles telling him that he'd have preferred to do laps instead of this. It was just a water polo game, how bad could it be?
the light barely made it's way in the small room

the smell of mixed chemicals
the sound of her heart racing
his steady breathing...

there was only one way to describe the meeting--
explosive
