If nothing really happens, as GM, it's my duty to just officially shelf it, and maybe try again later.

I was probably being too ambitious with so many people. We probably need four players max, including me, huh?

Fischer makes sure to leave a quiet, "Thank-you Command" before resuming his duties, and getting up from his chair for one last security shakedown. He begins to wonder just what sort of 'aliens' they might find out there... Hopefully the worst they'll find are just green-skinned space babes, but he knows how unlikely that is. They'll probably find hyper-intelligent tentacled abominations, or omniscient swarms of sentient nanorobots or something. Well, he has a job to do and he needs to do it. So, he continued his patrol, silently stalking the halls, gun in pocket, one final check for any smuggled items, for any security breeches, and other things of that sort.

Empty handed, he wordlessly, sneakily returned to the Security Office, likely getting a few looks from the others in the other rooms before he plops down in his chair and waits for the 'Jump', back in his office.

Anyway, examine the fluff and current character posts to get an idea what the world is sort of like, and please make a character post in the next week at most, @Agentmanatee

And how close and fucked up does the entry-murder have to be? Like, "ah shit you gotta kill your buddy", or "YOU MUST BE IMPREGNATED, AND FORCEFULLY RIP OUT THE FETUS AND EAT ITS UNBORN FLESH IN FRONT OF THE FATHER"?

And I assume a modern setting? and for what reasons? Probably just giggles, right?

Just remembered a @Jerkchicken wanted me to @mention him/her when we were starting or something. Not starting yet... but whatever.

Anyway, if you're still gonna do this, @NanofreakV2, @M127, @Eklispe, @Phobos, and Jerkchicken, I'd like for you to post the basic idea and concept of your plotted character so I know what fluff I absolutely need to write down, in the next week or so. I'll just use the allotted time to post fluffy stuff in general.

Oh, and I'm giving you guys an option: You can be somewhat familiar with Joshua already, or you can 'just meet him for reals' right before your first hunt, please say which one you want in post and/or in your PC's CS.

I'll tell you if your character couldn't really fit in or anything, but as long as you don't go overboard with it I doubt I'll need to say anything. Just use your head and all that and you should be fine. You may need to re-do your CS a little, this RP's fluff will be somewhat different then standard fantasy fare in various ways.

No offense, but how are these so 'specially morbid'?

I'd say morbid stuff is like...

The players are cultists and have to kidnap children and use their flayed skin as materials for the worship of their god or something. That'd be really morbid! Or maybe they're all crazed doctors who intentionally murder their patients, and have to work together to not get found out. That.. would actually make a great TV show, wouldn't it?

Joshua the Skillful

Name: Joshua.
Nickname: 'The Skillful'
Apearance: Joshua is of average height, and of fairly muscled, yet losing, build. He has greying black hair, and green eyes. Joshua's age has begun to show, with grey streaks beginning to outnumber the blackness of his scalp. He has taken this, and his slowly losing strength, as a sign to begin retiring. He has numerous scars that he has acquired over the years.
Basic Personality: He's fairly kind, and is proficient in working with groups. A natural teacher, as well. Although, he has a special disposition against those he deems 'Lazy'.
Backstory: Joshua is a fullblooded Human, who began hunting twenty years ago, when he was but a young adult. Then, he didn't even know the Hunters' Guild was a sort of institution, and he was supposed to look for an experienced hunter for teaching. At first, he learned all he knew the hard way. However, he eventually caught word and 'officially' became a Hunter. The first actual Hunt he attended was a purge of the Silent Forest of beasts, and he fell many over the course of two weeks. As previously said, he eventually grew to be a dedicated Fae-Hunter, and has fell roughly a dozen over his career.
Primary Skills: Basic Exicus Magic, Sword-fighting, and use of Firearms. Specialized in fighting Fae.
Secondary Skills: Minimal Vitae knowledge, knowledge of tracking animals, and herbal-based healing.
Switch-Weapon: A special longsword, the blade could be split in two, and the smaller portion is its' own detachable dagger. It splits from the tip, and there's an obvious handle for the dagger portion at the base of the sword. He originally used a standard steel longsword, but after training, his mentor gifted him this.
Other Weapons: Old steel blade, his original, slathered in a special poison that works wonders against Beasts. Also, an early musket pistol, one of the first of its' kind.
Known Exicus Runes: Turn Familiar, Map, and Minor Firewall.
Known Vitae: Minor Gout of Flame, Minor Lightning Strike.

There, an example of how one would be ordered. Obviously, you can't start as an expert at anything just yet. And you can't know any Exicus runes either. If you're not sure how you should do something in your PC's CS, simply ask in this thread. Why not a PM? Because if someone else also has that question I honestly don't want to write a giant post of fluff twice.

Oh, and you're starting with standard weapons. As in, pretty much anything but switch-weapons. and no, you can't start with buster swords or anything like that. Be humble at first.
