Bio

My name is Liar and I have been roleplaying for over a decade. My hobbies include reading, writing, roleplaying, and fan fiction.

I am currently working as a freelance editor, looking over various manuscripts and making sure the quality is well enough to be published. However, I am also attending university for a Political Science degree (I have already earned an English and Psychology degree).

My current plans are to join the United States Marine Corps. as an officer and establish a military career. From there, I hope to expand my influence wide enough to the point that I am able to take over the country.

He was originally a Mandalorian insurgent aiding the Mandalorian Protectors in the Mandalore Sector, but a disastrous mission had him captured by slavers. However, while traveling aboard the slavers' ship, he made friends with the other prisoners and helped lead a mutiny (not wholly the physical part of it, but, rather, the planning of it). One of the prisoners aboard had been a dedicated member of the Open Circle Rebellion and asked Dret to aid them. Dret considered the offer, understood that Mandalore couldn't be liberated by the Mandalorian Protectors by themselves, and accepted, believing that if he gained enough influence with the Rebels he would eventually be able to aid his people.

I would go into more in the actual character sheet later, but I figure I might as well state my intentions now.
Good evening, everyone.

I was considering creating a Mandalorian Rebel member. Well, can I truly call it "considering" if I have already started?

@Darkmatter
I have begun writing my characters.

However, as I was writing, I reached a dilemma. Is it possible to have more than one character?

Inspiration took me and I was thinking of creating a group of brothers that are all part of the Holy American Imperium but each brother deals with a different aspect of it. The eldest serves as a politician and military commander (taking on a more tactical role), the second oldest is a civilian that engages in the business enterprises of the family, the third joins the military and serves on the front lines, and the youngest brother is an engineer and scientist who loves tinkering with mechs.

Not necessarily specific types of characters, but characters you hope to have that could easily be involved with the plot. I've often observed characters being made and then doing little with the core story simply because of its nature by design.

For example, you wouldn't want us to create a hobo just because someone thinks it would be 'fun' to play as one in this setting. It's an extreme example, but I think it illustrates my point clearly.

I look forward to it!

I think the seemingly slow speed of my responses is probably due to Timezone difference.

Perhaps. Personally, I've been busy earlier today in light of my little brother's birthday party and I have business tomorrow afternoon. The only thing I'm certain of is that I probably won't have time to properly write a character until Wednesday at the earliest.

However, I'm not averse to spending time here in the OOC and make things a little lively by chatting with you all.

Though I do have a question as to what you're expecting from the participants for this roleplay. Knowing what you want would help me in coming up with a suitable character. I always felt that simply writing a character freely without oversight is like jamming a star-shaped block into the square hole. You could do it, but it's more trouble than needed.
This sounds interesting as well. I would't mind being an ambassador.
I guess I'll create some villainous schemer. I love making those. I'll also be an American.
I assure that I didn't type it with a lick of sarcasm.
This definitely looks interesting.
