In a kingdom that is far from great, high tax's, high poverty, little food for many peasants and a terribly high crime rate. Enchanted is ruled by queen Annabel she is young and merciful, she might have a good heart but is her heart destroying the kingdom. At first daily life is rather simple for most that live on the castle. But people must deal with going to court and sorting grievance's or sending criminals away. The queen deals with many things so can she fix the kingdom back to way it was before, things get worse when she becomes under attack from a kingdom far greater and cruller than her own, King 'Tut'. His actual name was forgotten some time ago.
For 'Peasants' and lesser roles of village people:
These are all side characters, you can be any of these but please remember to have a main character as well.
Serf - Someone who belongs to the queen or their baron, working on fields or in the kitchen or manor cleaning
Peasant - They are free, they often own their own farms or becomes merchants. Peasants are poor so will often do anything for money, they often deliver unofficial messages or come to the queen to warn her ect.
[Mostly peasants and anyone in the lesser roles class tend to come to the queen to request marriage or go to prison, most just want the queen to solve an argument or fix a troublesome problem.]
Blacksmith - A blacksmith makes armour and swords if you become good enough knights might but from you, even maybe the queen herself.
Travelling merchant - Some become richer from travelling from kingdom to kingdom with rare and wonderful gifts.
Bailif - There can only be one peasant bailif, they are next in importance to the steward. He was in charge of giving jobs to the peasants, overseeing the care of the livestock, and taking care of building repairs by hiring skilled craftsmen to do the job. While the Stewart lived in the castle, the bailif is a free peasant that runs the village.
Reeve - One reeve for every bailif, and there can only be one bailif here. A reeve is the right hand man to the bailif. A peasant chosen by the other villagers. He carried a white
stick as a badge of office. He supervised work on the lord’s lands, checking that everyone began on time, and ensuring that none of the produce was stolen.
Bard - He is a poet and a singer, an actor and performer, he glorifies the words of the queen around the village's of Enchanted. If he was to say a word against the queen, he would be risked with execution for being a traitor.
Life for servants who live in the castle:
Many servants have different jobs around the castles there are cooks who cook meals for the castle, maids who wash and clean rooms and clothes, butler who serves the drinks and controls the house. A sewer serves food. Servants wake before the royals and nobles to clean/cook do ,laundry and other day to day chores.
Life for the butler - The chief male servant of a household, usually in charge of serving food, the care of silverware, etc. a male servant having charge of the wines and liquors. He is very close with the queen and roles include answering the door, letting the queen know if a visitor is coming and tell her any of the latest news she may need to know.

They often go on hunting trips with archers to practise their aim or just for pleasure, to know how to play chess is vital as is to use all weapons. They are sometimes given a squire which only the queen can decide to become a knight. A squire must prove him/herself. Knights get involved in tournaments and spars along with real duels and fight in wars. Knights in enchanted are expected to follow the code of chivalry and be honourable. Always place's available for being a knight or servant.

The queen must deal with problems everyday before having the evening to hunt, chat or play chess. She is known for being good with her sword, some knights let her win because she is the queen.
Royals and regents live and work around the queen, things just sort of fall into place.

Appearance: She is the average height, light brown shoulder length hair, dark blue eyes, wears royal dress's, practical and expensive clothes, likes to wear a , height, hair and loves to wear a red or purple cape.
Personality: A loving, caring personality. She hates to punish too harshly and is very merciful in battle
Job/role: The queen of Enchanted.
If knight/squire - One -handed Sword and shield.
History: A few years ago Annie was a knight of Enchanted before her sister; Maggie attacked Enchanted over some forgotten revenge. Once she had killed the king, Annie had to take over or the people would suffer. Maggie left to her own kingdom, a wreak of a castle and spends her days drinking with her knights. Annie is now a queen with her advisor's and best friends. Lizzie is also her sister but we don't really know what happened to her. Annie's parents her killed when she was born, to this day nobody knows who did it.
Crush: Annie has her eye on many young men and women, it is said she has a thing for the new Justiciar girl.
Other: Annie spends most of her time in the castle, she enjoys practising her swordsmanship and jousting is a favourite sport for her.

Gender: Male
Appearance: Always dress's rich and fine. He has strong bone structure and is taller than Annie but smaller than Leon. He has thick, black hair that swoops across his forehead. He has blue eyes and dress's in dark clothes. He has slightly tanned skin and is physically fit.
Personality: A stern man, that follows the rules, enjoys relationships. He has a cold look about him, he sticks to the task and is determined. He can be romantic but generally is a ruthless brute. He has a violent nature to him. He is close with the queen.
Job/role: Chamberlain - An officer of the royal household responsible for the Chamber, meaning that he controlled access to the person of the queen. He was also responsible for administration of the household and the private estates of the king. Carl is one of Annie's main advisors.
If knight/squire - Carl prefers the two-handed sword, who needs a shield anyway.
History: Carl moved to Enchanted when he heard there was a new queen, he is know her royal advisor. Carls family come from nobles alike. Carl has a rich heritage. His family live in different kingdoms, away from Enchanted. Carl has served and protected Annie in battle many time sin the past, he has proclaimed himself her personal protector. Annie and Carl are good friends. Even though Carl disagrees with Annie being so light handed and hearted. Carl wanted this job for the money and simply because he could.
Crush: Annie
Other: Carl is rather the opposite to Annie; he tends to kill his enemies and wish's Annie would execute criminals...

Name: Catherine Vine 'Cathy' 'Kate'
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Appearance: Fair skin, around the same height as Annie, slightly taller, brown hair that's quite long often tied up or in various forms. Light brown eyes, wears average noble clothes.
Personality: Little rogue around the edge's, if she snaps she really will have a go at you. She use's her sweet exterior to her advantage, she knows to respect the queen though, as long as she don't get on her nerves. Cathy is offensive in fights and goes all out. She does care about her friends and trust means the world to her. She makes a great enemy and a worthy ally.
Job/role: Justiciar - The head of the royal judicial system and the king's viceroy, when the actual viceroy was
absent from the country.
If knight/squire - Two short swords in each hand.
History: She was sent away from her Nobel rich family to work. Many youngsters are sent away she is one of them. She is gentle to criminals that cross her path and knows plenty about law. She has been know to bring home the bacon, she once killed a bear with nothing but her two swords, and no armour. She wanted this job because she wanted a job where she didn't have to do much and even when she does she knows she will be gentle.
Crush: I'd tell you, but she really would kill me. (Yikes!)
Other: Catherine see's eye to eye with the queen when it comes to mercy. She's someone who really wish's to find a suitor.

Age: 18
Gender: Male
Appearance: Messy haired ginger boy. He wears less than noble clothing and is quite small. He has light green to yellow eyes. He looks like a messy peasant.
Personality: He is a cheery young lad, with a bright smile and stubborn attitude. He is a jokester, who befriends many. He can be adventurous but not very brave. He see's no time for love in a world like this. Will he change? He can be immature sometimes as well.
Job/role: Treasurer - The chief financial officer of the realm and senior officer of the Exchequer. An advisor in finance to Annie.
If knight/squire - Long bow, even though he needs practise.
History: Like Catherine he has travelled to Enchanted when sent away by his family, in order to learn how to be a Treasurer. His family are rich merchants renown around the land. He wanted this role because he was good at mathematics when he was tutored. He hopes he can prove himself to the queen.
Crush: He likes servants and perhaps Catherine too...
Other: Aden likes to dance with servants secretly at night. He just loves to have fun. Drinking is not essential to him, so he doesn't tend to get very drunk.

Name: Maria Longsmith
Age: 40
Gender: Female
Appearance: A slightly overweight woman who is the same height as Aden, she has brown eye's and brown hair, she wears robes most of the time.
Personality: She gets on with what needs doing, she has a soft spot for Aden. She care's for people but can be a bit sarcastic and cocky with people.
Job/role: Royal physician
History: She has been loyal to Enchanted for her entire life. She has always lived there. She practised for many years to be as great as she is now. She cures the people and informs the queen if there are any outbreaks on illness's which happen a lot due to the hygiene levels of the kingdom. She always wanted to follow in her parents footsteps in being a physician. Her parents died when they caught an illness off some villagers.
Crush: Bahh, I don't know, perhaps she's too old.
Other: She collects herbs and sometimes leaves town to get remedies.
