Anyone interested in a Veterinary / Slice of Life rp?

I had this idea of making a veterinary roleplay. Sort of like a hospital rp but instead the patients are animals xD And of course it would follow the lives of the nurses and vets that work there with drama and all that entertaining stuff. Before I make this, I wanted to see if anyone would even be interested! Plus I would love some help with making it.

History

Celine was born to the king and queen of the Rotha Kingdom. She is the middle child of the legitimate children of the King and Queen. She has an older brother named Abbott, who is childish, ambitious, and selfish, and a younger sister named Marie, who is bubbly, warm, and arrogant. There is also a fourth half sibling named Cain, whom lives at the castle as well but with a lower status. She was originally raised to become a proper lady and previously believed that her fate would lie in marrying a Prince of another kingdom. However, as Celine grew older she developed a strong interest for military skill and strategy. Seeing her natural talents, her father allowed her to partake in some of the meetings with generals. As she grew and learned more, Celine pretty much managed over the military with very little help from her father. She earned a great deal of respect and favor from many. Her older brother, Abbott, is next in line for the throne but many generals and nobles that are invested in the Kingdom’s military believe he is unfit for the position and wish for Celine to take full control of the kingdom. Most, however, are sticklers for tradition and know that the throne is Abbott’s birth right and not Celine’s.

Celine is a balance between a proper court lady and a military expert. She carries herself with an air of elegance and command. She is reserved and cold making it hard for most people to get close to her, especially since she is very picky with who she places her trust in. Most of the time she buries emotions away and keeps her feelings hidden from the rest of the world. Celine rarely relaxes or jokes around, almost always being serious.

When it comes to fighting, she can be quite ruthless to her opponents. If she is dragged into a fight, Celine focuses on winning not sparing enemies or finding peace. However, this is mainly because she usually tries to avoids fights to begin with but finds that some fights can’t be avoided. She’s very calculating and strategic by nature. Celine never jumps into a situation without thinking it over. She despises surprises but has a knack for ‘rolling with the punches’ since she’s likely already thought of a similar scenario in her head.

Celine is an intimidating figure as she is not only a princess but also has a head of military with a less than inviting aura. Despite her rough edges, Celine is very caring and protective of the people and things she holds dear. She cares deeply for her kingdom and the people in it, feeling like she must be the one who protects them if her brother will be the one who leads them. Celine is humble and doesn’t put herself on any high up pedestal but is still aware of the power she has and what she is capable of.

Cain was born from an affair that happened between the King of Rotha and a servant. The two had practically known each other since childhood since the servant, Cain’s mother, came from a long like of loyal servants. They were fairly close despite being of very different social classes. They weren’t quite in love but the King did lust for the servant. His advances were accepted one night and nine months later, Cain was born. The King knew it was his son but the Queen threatened the safety of the servant and her child if he chose to completely accept Cain as a son. So Cain was raised in the castle like the son of a nobleman but kept at a distance from the royal family. Despite having luxuries, Cain still finds that many of the higher class see him no different than a peasant.

Cain grew up with the King’s pity, the Queen’s hatred, and his mother’s love. He wasn’t well liked and didn’t have many friends as he grew up. Noble children were told to avoid him and servant children often weren’t allowed to get very close to him as they were considered of a lower status than him. Despite these social restrictions, Cain managed to somehow remain kind and friendly. He tries his best to get along with most people but understands that not everyone is going to like him, something he learned at an early age.

Though he is kind, he is not naive. Cain is sharp and quite intelligent, though it might not be very obvious when you first meet him. He can usually tell when someone is trying to trick or lie to him. He’s also a bit of a bookworm and has read a great deal of novels, mostly being fiction as he finds non-fiction dull. Due to this, Cain is quite creative and imaginative, unlike the majority of his kingdom. Some say he has his head constantly in the clouds and believe him to be an air-head.

Cain isn’t as positive as one might think though. He’s actually quite pessimistic, usually finding that worse outcomes are more common than positive. He knows that life isn’t like his books and knows happy endings don’t exist.

He can also be quite sarcastic and snarky. Cain usually makes side comments when he finds himself irritated with others. He often does this and avoids getting into fights but if the other person is hot-headed enough, his comments could just as easily start one.

- Creativity (Usually providing answers that think outside the box... Almost never practical or logical)

- Animals (Extremely good with animals. They usually love him)

Hi all! Just a pop in as I’m finishing up some of my characters but here are a few things I realized we might need to go over xD

1. The kingdom names - I just named the Moon Kingdom Rotha Kingdom and the Sun Kingdom Treatus Kingdom. I just used a random generator for them so if you had any in mind that you’d prefer feel free to suggest :D

2. Side Characters - This is just for backgrounds for our characters so they could have been important in a main character’s past. So far I have a small list of side characters that can be utilized! Mainly those related to the royal family of Rotha Kingdom cx I wasn’t sure if you preferred I make up the style of the king and queen/any other side roles in the Sun Kingdom or just leave it to you guys to figure out. So just tell me and I can whip up a few quick descriptions if need be :D

Abott Dainid - 32 year old man. Oldest child of the King and Queen of Rotha. Childish, Ambitious, and Selfish. Next in line for the throne but not well liked by the people of Rotha.

Marie Dainid - 17 year old girl. Youngest child of the King and Queen of Rotha. Bubbly, warm, and arrogant. The ‘sweetheart’ of the kingdom and usually not taken seriously.

3. The Kingdom’s - We may need to discuss this in more detail later but I figured a brief over-view of each kingdom might help with character building. Feel free to make any suggestions for change!

Rotha The Kingdom of Moon: The Rotha Kingdom likes to consider it’s self the Original Kingdom. The royals are the ones that descend from a long lineage that once ruled over the kingdom before it was split. They are usually a stickler for traditions and are often caught up in the past. They view the Treatus Kingdom as traitors even after so much time has past. From royalty to the poorest peasant, many believe that is the duty of Rotha Kingdom to overthrow Treatus and take the land back by force to unit that which was once whole.

Treatus The Kingdom Of Sun : The Treatus Kingdom has taken many steps to differ themselves from the Rotha Kingdom. They are the nobles that once rebelled against Rotha royalty. They find pride in uniqueness and things out of the ordinary, usually being very welcoming to cultures outside of their own. They despise Rotha Kingdom since they feel the rival kingdom is trying to take away all that they have built. The Treatus Kingdom believes that Rotha Kingdom is an oppressor of uniqueness and that it is their duty to overthrow Rotha Kingdom, not only their royals but their traditions as well.

4. Gender Roles - I’m not sure what you two had in mind, but I’m not trying to stick super close to the usual (and admittedly more accurate) display of gender roles in a medieval rp. I feel like maybe in our roleplay it is common for women to be married off rather than become knights or leaders but that doesn’t mean it’s not done. It might be a bit more difficult for them but it is not frowned upon by society in general. Of course there maybe a few people who don’t exactly like it

5. Character Relations - I figure it would be good to try and plan out how characters have gotten along with each other before we actually finish them.

For mine, I need to mainly talk to you HW xD So I here’s what I’m thinking for the relationships between some of our characters :

Walker of Moon - Knight : The Walker of Moon (Celine as I’ve decided to name her cx ) is a pretty cold/hard to get close to person and she’s also pretty successful military wise so I figured her and her knight are likely very close friends. I imagine that the Knight might not even be the strongest or most skilled in the army (tho they can be like that if you’d like of course!) but mainly just someone she trusts with her life.

I’m also planning to give Celine a half brother (came from an affair with the King and some mistress but the King of course denies it all) who will also be one of my main characters. He’ll live at the castle but likely isn’t viewed very fondly.

Child of Sun - Servant : So I kinda of have two ideas for their relationship. The two could start out as basically strangers. The servant would, more or less, just be another face to the Sun until the servant eventually speaks up to side with the Sun. OR they might have a fairly decent acknowledgement of each other. I won’t exactly say friends but I imagine they would at least know each others names and get along well. These are just my ideas since I’m planning for my servant to be viewed as a bit plain until you get to know him better.

No worries! I poofed there for a little bit myself since college was starting back up XP I’ll probably be on only a little bit at a time now.
