Obeying the call to arms, Tabetha heard the speech by Evelyn Sunderland. Tabetha wondered if there were enough Templars to resist the invasion. The attack in the North had killed a large host of templars and much of the experienced leadership. No doubt there would be those that would not recognized her position. Wasn't there a rebellion in the past? She frowned. The fight ahead would be a perilous one. Allies would be needed.

Later, she received Theodore's call to arms and listened to his briefing. Once he was finished she voiced her concerns, "I'll come. I do have one question before we leave. If this Dead God is such a huge threat, would it not be prudent to send aid to other nations especially now?"
Lord Templar of The Dawn: Commander of Templars across Miras.

This person dead or alive?
I'm not, I am in the royal courtyard!

Will make small edit in my post.
Tabetha's was on guard duty on the courtyard since dawn broke. She popped a handful of refreshing grapes into her mouth. The courtyard was filled with exotic and colorful plants and being near such scenery was relaxing. It was the perfect place to absorb and process what happened yesterday.

There was a rank higher than the Knight-Commander it seemed. After that dwarf that no one knew about suddenly appointed a knight captain into a knight commander! Such a revelation was something that should shake the very foundation of the Order if what the dwarf said was true. Perhaps there was a secret order of sorts that no one knew about? From what she gathered last night, much of the leadership was wiped out in the north. Did the late knight commander Graham knew about this dwarf?

She smiled, amused. The whole ordeal seemed absurd. Evelyn Sunderland is now the knight-commander if she decided to accept the dwarf's proposal? Theodore the Bellicose getting away with what amounted to a slap in the hand. And then he gets a private forge for private runesmithing lessons for the Order's dwarfs, one of whom he broke the nose of. At least that gem was worth a pretty bunch. Dwarfs, they were an odd bunch.

Of course, the necromancer was perhaps the surprise of the night. He came from nowhere and already he was brooding. He gave off a gloomy vibe. Were all necromancers like this? Having never seen necromancy besides descriptions in texts, she wondered what it actually looked like up close. Then the newcomers that just showed up. She didn't even catch their names and they looked normal enough.

This castle was a gathering point for members of the Order for some reason. What strange times she was living in. Perhaps Fate had something in the works for them all?

Tabetha scanned the courtyard. Nothing out of the ordinary appeared. "Well, I suppose if he isn't an enemy he is an ally even if he is a foul mouthed one." Out in the distance she heard the bells toll. It was the first time she heard them ever being rung. Did something happen?

She frowned. Curious as she was to investigate, she still had to perform her duties and abandoning her post just to investigate would reflect badly on her and leave the tranquil courtyard exposed. As if anything ever happened in the courtyard. She popped another handful of grapes into her mouth. Until she received any other orders, she decided to stay put. Perhaps someone could fill her in later when she was free from her duties.

"Can't wait for my shift to be over. Wonder what I'll find out today?"
"the man floating behind her burning with angry yellow flames that only he could see."

I am somewhat afraid for Tabetha. What is following her?! No really, did I miss something?
“Corporal, why are you in such a hurry? Where is your partner? Have you not gotten myself and the Captains orders? Who else has not received my orders?”

There it was, the ice cold words that stung. Tabetha saluted and in a sharp voice began her report. "Apologies! I was doing rounds outside the castle when I came across other members of the Order. They were not from this area and I believe they were travelers! You've mentioned a captain, I think it is that person who leads them!"

"And? What are you getting at?" Taegan replied.

"As I entered a tavern, two of the templars I saw that I did not recognize were dwarfs their names were Argus and Glodin. They were under command of Evelyn Sunderland, a knight captain. Before I could ask anything else, a third dwarf wearing all black armor attacked the one named Argus. It was an unprovoked attack, completely out of nowhere and a huge brawl broke out. There was another incident with the city guards too. A drunk elf with the Order's mark attacked the guards that tried to stop the commotion and that elf had a scuffle with a female dwarf who incidentally also carries our banner."

Tabetha paused briefly to gather her breath before continuing not quite believing what she was saying either. Taegan's face looked forlorn as always. Would he even believe how absurd this situation sounded?

"The fight between Argus and the other dwarf spilled outside and I only arrived in time to see them stop their fight. There I learned that Argus drugged the mysterious dwarf's niece and the unprovoked attack was for that reason. Whatever happened outside, I do not know but the mysterious dwarf was satisfied with the outcome and stopped fighting. I've tried to arrest him but he merely pushed me aside and threatened that he was capable of much greater harm. My instincts told me he was someone I could not handle alone. His armor was filled with strange runes and they were of exceptional quality."

"When I left, that mysterious dwarf was inspecting the hammer of one the dwarfs and striking a conversation with both Glodin and Argus. Come to think of it, he mentioned someone by the name of Marcus. They may know each other by proxy. As for the drunk elf and the female dwarf, I did not see them when I left. I don't think the city guards that were knocked out nor the tavern owner are too happy. There's also a lot of witnesses too so this isn't something that will stay quiet."

"There is a matter of containing the fallout that will ensue and also this dwarf that attacked the Order. That concludes my report."

Tabetha's hand fell to her sides as she awaited for Taegan's reaction. Think I'm gonna get chewed out she thought to herself.

Tabetha glared at the pompous dwarf as he shoved her aside. Right then and there she wanted to bring her sword down his stubby neck but she stayed her hand. A chill went down her spine. This was no ordinary dwarf and something about his demeanor was extremely dangerous. She released her grip on the sword.

"Though I do not know what is the circumstances of your grievances with Argus except that he apparently drugged your niece and dishonored you, the fact remains that you've assaulted a member of the Order among other crimes. It's not within my means to mete out punishment, especially for one as dangerous as you. As you said, I'll report this incident to my superior."

She looked at Glodin and Argus with a puzzled look. "Are you friends now? If you are, you'd best be prepared to explain why. Now if you will excuse me..."

Tabetha turned around and sprinted towards the castle. "Taegan is not going to be happy when he hears of this. Knowing him, I'd probably be admonished too for failing to stop the fight from happening. I wonder if he's meeting with this knight captain now?" Upon entering the castle, Tabetha began her search for Taegan.@The Emperors Blade
Rising behind a knocked over table, Tabetha seethed with anger. Not only did some dwarf interrupt her conversation, that very dwarf caused a commotion of epic proportions. Not only would the Order be implicated in this, she would too. Though she had nothing to do with the fight, she was member of the Order and one who failed to stop the the situation from escalating. She would have her share of responsiblities.

Before she could say or do anything else, it wasn't long before guards came in to arrest the perpetrators. As she readied herself to explain what happened, a drunk elf with the Order's symbol came in. "Who's that?" she said to herself.

"Hey you *hic* guards, I know one of the dwarfs your looking, loooking, licking? Looking for. His name is, is, Argus. Oops!" A guard was knocked down. Then another and then some more. Walking over to the other dwarf the elf suddenly punches Glodin in the face. "Now that guards are out the way. TIME FOR THE BIGGEST BAR BRAWL EVER!"

"I don't believe this!" Tabetha said astounded. "Are these really men of the Order? They act more like ruffians!" As she looked on, fighting erupted everywhere with the main focus between the elf, Glodin and the female dwarf. The fighting quickly went outside and cursing vehemently, Tabetha slipped outside and followed the three just in time to see Glodin grab a hold of his hammer.

"You there!" She yelled pointing at the dark skinned dwarf "What is your problem? Have you lived under a rock for too long? If you got a problem the first thing you should not do is punch someone in the nose! Look at this mess you created! I don't know what it is with you dwarfs and your inclination towards violence in the bar but if you insist on murdering each other at first sight, find a place elsewhere preferably AWAY from other people and then have your stupid fight."

She looked at the other Templars with disapproving looks. "You call youself templars? Scoundrels more like it. And what were you thinking hitting the city guards? Think of the reputation of the Order. Sunderland was it? I'll be sure to report this incident to her."

She walked towards the dark skinned dwarf, stopping some twenty paces from the dwarf with her right hand ready to draw her short sword. "I can see you are no ordinary dwarf but you've caused too great a commotion to be let off. Will you come quietly?"
