Sorry about my lack of appearances. At this point Im taking a much needed hiatus from here after 5 long years. Not sure when I'll be back, but it won't be for awhile... sorry about that... : (

Once upon a time, I used to cheer for May the 4th... now I cry with disappointment. *Except Clone Wars S7 and the Mandalorian - they are awesome*
I will say group wise, I do not wish for Kylo and Vader to be in the same group YET. To be fair Kylo would either be alone or be with some other villain for the meantime before meeting his grandaddy. He may sense him, but not see him right away basically.
Godzilla should initially appear alone, however people encountering him is welcomed.
@Lmpkio I think Doom Guy is different from the Doom Slayer from Doom 2016. Doom Guy is just that pissed off marine on mars who goes around killing demons like a cool guy. Doom Slayer is some sort of ancient super warrior who is magical and Supreme Badass eternal murder man.
Actually, according to Quake Champions of all places (which has the Doom Slayer armor), it suggests that Doom Slayer is indeed the original Doom Guy. It's a bit controversial atm, but it appears to hint such a thing, if not outright confirm it.
It's a bit of a controversial topic, but nonetheless that's where the signs appear to be pointing at.
Still a WIP. This may be the final character that I'll start off with in this RP, but nonetheless more will be added down the line.
Edit: Complete!
Name:
| The Doomslayer | Doomguy | B.J. Blazkowicz III | DOOM Marine | DM1-5 | The Slayer | The Unchained Predator | Hell Walker |
Appearance:
At exactly 6 feet (1.83 meters) tall and weighing in at 180 lbs (81.6 kg), the Doomslayer, encapsulated in his dark-green Praetor Suit, is an intimidating warrior on the battlefield. What lies behind that suit only a few can confirm outside of his ripped and heavily muscular form that radiates in the form of pure, unadulterated, male testosterone. Those who claim to have seen the Slayer's face - and survived - mention his gritty, scarred, scowling face with his dark-brown eyes and short brownish-blonde hair.
Demons, meanwhile, only see what could be described as their worst nightmare.
Origin Series:
DOOM (2016) Series
Personality:
The Doomslayer's basic philosophy can be summed up into one sentence. If you're a demon, and if you exist just to cause chaos in the universe, Doomguy will find you, and he will kill you and kill everyone and everything that you hold dear, all without saying a single word. He does not care for what you think of him, or say to him, or whatever you do in front of him, but he will let you know where his loyalties lay - only with he, himself, and his fervorous quest to kill every last demon he sees.
But despite his seemingly one-dimensional nature in slaughtering demons, the Doomslayer is more than just that. While he's definitely a physical manifestation of raw human aggression on one hand, the other hand shows him as the rightful champion of humanity and ultimately the greater good. If you share his demonphobic goals and sense of rightful justice, you will certainly gain the respect of a powerful ally who will help you in whatever goals you have planned.
But if you betray the Doomslayer; if you break the sense of trust that you've worked extra hard on getting with him; then unless you have a VERY good reason as to why you did it, you can kiss your ass goodbye as you will be marked for an imminent, unceremonious, and a downright gory DEATH for defying the pure epitome of rage and ultra-violence.
His goal in the "Crossroads"? His forceful betrayal and exile from his universe, from one Dr. Samuel Hayden has left him absolutely livid. He swears to one day return to him and give the corrupt bucket of scrap what he has coming for him.
Abilities:
Superhuman Abilities: Already augmented significantly by his Praetor suit, the Doomslayer has shown to possess immense physical Strength, Endurance and Durability, and superior Speed and Stamina. From ripping limbs and punching things till they explode, to being able to fight for up to hours without tiring, to survive the Slayer you must fight like hell to stand a chance.
Expert Combatant: The Doomslayer is a highly trained and experienced combatant. Even when lacking ammo and weapons, he can slay demons just with his bare-hands alone, without the need of any melee weapon, and has a history of defeating and tearing apart demons far bigger and stronger than him just with his own skills in hand-to-hand combat. With the Praetor suit, these skills are far increased, making him a monster in both armed and unarmed combat.
Weapon Mastery: The Doomslayer is capable of using any weapon or firearm in his possession with near-master proficiency.
Argent Energy Absorption: The Doomslayer can absorb Argent Energy - a form of renewable energy mined by the UAC from Hell - via his Praetor Suit, which reroutes it throughout the suits subsystems and into his body. This form of energy can be found in all traces of demonic entities - whether they are from his universe or not - and thus killing a demon gives back a trace of his soul into the Doomslayer. However, one measly soul doesn't give the full benefits, thus he must purge whole hordes of demons or kill incredibly strong demons to achieve its maximum potential.
Weapons & Equipment:
Praetor Suit: A suit of high-tech combat armor that helps protect the Doomslayer, as well as have him survive in hostile environments such as the fires of Hell and the frozen depths of space. This suit can be upgraded to allow the wearer additional abilities.
UAC EMG Sidearm: A Pistol that shoots directed-energy beams instead of bullets, and also has unlimited ammo. It's a generally weak weapon that does overheat if fired enough times in one session. Good in a pinch.
DS-117 Shotgun: More commonly known as the Combat Shotgun, this is the Doomslayer's primary weapon in combat.
Super Shotgun: A weapon that has seen much conflict within its holder, the Super shotgun a traditional style double barreled, break action shotgun which holds 2 shots at a time. Said shots cannot be fired independently (unless upgraded). It's more powerful than say the Combat Shotgun but requires frequent reloads due to the small capacity. Unlike most weapons, no modifications can be added to it, though specific improvements can be made.
Chainsaw: A powerful close range weapon, it allows the Doomslayer to rip into his opponent. Does require gasoline for it to be powered and once it runs out it is useless until refueled.
Frag Grenades: A handheld explosive weapon that can be chucked at opponents. Doomslayer starts off with only four of these.
Alignment:
Chaotic Good
Other:
"In (the currently upcoming) "Doom Eternal", players are able to build their Doomslayer from the ground up. Players can customize and upgrade their Doomguy by gaining new weapons, inserting various mods onto said weapons, upgrading said weapon mods ("upgrade your upgrades, with an upgrade"), gaining new abilities through suit mods, and utilizing runes to fit one's play style, amongst others. At the start of the RP, Doomslayer will a near clean slate with only wielding a few starting weapons and potentially a lesser rune. As it goes on however, he will gain more weapons and upgrades to suit his play style within "The Crossroads", becoming the ultimate embodiment of DOOM whilst still being fair game to the other players."
"This incarnation of the Doomslayer takes place just after the events of DOOM (2016)."
<Snipped quote by Lmpkio> Oh wow I didn't notice your edit
Outside of the general question of "how will regular sized characters fight him", I can't see anything wrong with it. I trust you know what you're doing and can figure out how to handle the size issue, yeah?
I did mention how the size will be according to whatever the plot demands. If it's against a few regular humanized-opponents, then he will fight in his human form. If he's facing an army of baddies or a significantly powerful opponent, he can go into Macro if he becomes overwhelmed. And if he's fighting other giant monsters and/or robots, he will go into his giant kaiju form. I'll probably give an excuse in IC as to why he can't cheat the system but alas I got this under control.
EDIT: Dang, y'know what would be really cool is if someone else joined as Gipsy Danger/Mako Mori and Raleigh Becket (main characters of Pacific Rim, for those not familiar). Then we could ACTUALLY have the fight in the 3rd picture in the OP, lol
A little sneak peak at one of the next characters Im working on. Still a WIP though, should be finished by tomorrow.
I lied, I just finished! Once again, his powers will be used rather sparingly and fairly according to what the plot demands.
Name:
"Gojira" | "Godzilla"
Appearance:
As a human avatar, Godzilla stands at an impressive 6'8" (2.03 meters) and weighs a whopping 224 lbs (101.60 kg). He is a muscular monster of a man, with tanned skin, bright amber-yellow eyes, with long black locks of hair tipped in a mesmerizing atomic blue that's long enough to almost be mistaken for a tail. His armor is made of his own kaiju scales, which make up his chest and shoulder armor, gauntlets, shin pads, and clawed feet. Scars can also be seen on his body.
In his kaiju form, Godzilla has two different sizes he can morph into. He can become his "Macro Form", where he's 25 feet (7.62 meters) tall, or grow to his maximum size of 393 feet (119.7 meters) tall and weigh up to nearly 100,000 tons. Both forms represent his saurian attributes, as a dark blackish-blue color. His scars also transfer to this form, making him look old and ancient as they've cut into his very skin.
Series Origin:
Godzilla Series | Monsterverse Incarnation
Personality:
Godzilla is a stoic and gritty individual that represents a "last samurai" archetype. He is typically fine with solitude and usually doesn't want to be a part of the world around him, however there are times where he's forced to come out and set things straight or if he's given a good reason as to reveal himself in general. He acts more like an animal in most cases, being that he's rather territorial of his space and won't attack unless he sees something as a threat. He does not speak much, usually interacting with grunts, roars, or very blunt and simple phrases. Many familiar with Godzilla believe that he is the driving force to restore balance to nature whenever that balance is disrupted.
Godzilla considers several kaiju as his friends, in fact one kaiju in particular provides him with a "symbiotic relationship" or sorts.
Abilities:
Enhanced Strength & Durability: Godzilla is both incredibly strong and highly durable, being able to take on a myriad of brutal hits and even be strong enough to throw other kaiju out of his way. His strengths fluctuate depending on what form he takes but nonetheless it doesn't mean that he's invincible as enough damage will injure him.
Transformation: Godzilla can transform into 3 states: his human avatar, his macro kaiju form (25 meters), and his giant kaiju form (119.7 meters tall) based on the situation. He cannot grow any bigger then what the plot demands/recommends him.
Atomic Breath: Godzilla can fire an atomic beam from his mouth, knocking back and potentially scorching his opponents.
Tail Whip: With his extremely long tail, Godzilla can easily whip opponents back as a form of crowd control.

ANTAGONISTS
Name:
Ben Solo | "Kylo Ren"
Appearance:
Standing at an imposing 6'2" (1.89 Meters) and weighing in at 89 kilograms (196 lbs), Kylo Ren retains a similar stature to his grandfather before him. He has light skin, black wavy hair, dark brown eyes and has a fit body structure. He is often seen wearing black clothing with a robe, hooded cape, and belt. But by far the most notable piece of Kylo's equipment is his combat helmet, which is patterned after the battle gear of the Knights of Ren in which he lead, and also serves as a distance reminder of his grandfather's iconic helmet. However, with the helmet recently damaged under an intense conflict, Kylo was forced to repair it, hence it's currently cracked design.
Series of origin:
Star Wars Canon (Slightly Altered)
Personality:
With a fiery attitude and a lust for power, Kylo Ren strived to bury the painful experiences and emotions he experienced as Ben Solo. He strived towards the dark side, wanting to bring immunity against the light and to follow in the footsteps of his grandfather, Darth Vader, and to "finish what he started". Although Ren admired Vader, he is still torn by the conflict from within and, therefore, afraid of never attaining the strength his grandfather possessed. This has lessened somewhat after his rise as the new Supreme Leader, but it still lingers nonetheless.
With his new position of power, Ren's judgement and temper has been subject to criticism by certain high ranking commanders/admirals, with some mentioning him as "bratty" and "emotionally unstable". Still, the grandson of Vader kept an iron grip upon his imperial throne and executed those whom he believed to challenge his rule. Only a few trustworthy figures have truthfully gained the Supreme Leader's admiration and respect so far.
His current goal within "The Crossroads" is simply to return to his home universe, but not without searching this new dimension for anything that may help advance his goals once he gets back. Perhaps he may discover more about his past, and maybe regarding his grandfather as well...
Abilities:
Force Sensitive: Being from a family of powerful Force users, Ren is very in-tune with the Force, an energy that spans throughout the galaxy, and is skilled at manipulating it. While he can use the force sparingly in his universe, in "The Crossroads" however if he uses too much of it at one time, it could ultimately drain his energy rather quickly. Thus he tends to use it sparingly in battle and relies mostly on his blade skills.
Telekinesis: Ren can use the Force to manipulate people and objects with his mind. He's skilled enough with this to manipulate the movements of living beings with his telekinesis.
Force Choke: Ren can choke his opponent via the force by putting pressure on its windpipe through intense concentration. With enough strength or time, he can crush his opponent's windpipe, causing death to any unlucky person
Force Stasis: The ability to forcefully freeze a person or object in place for a few seconds.
Mind Probe: Ren has enough skill with the Force to sift through the thoughts of others to find information. This process causes the target incredible discomfort, meaning it's useful for torture. This effort takes a lot of concentration, which varies depending on how strong his victim's mindset is, meaning that Ren often uses it when his opponents are down or restrained.
Force Jump: Ren utilizes Force Jump to jump or leap at great distances.
Experienced Duelist: Ren is extremely well-versed in wielding a lightsaber against other blade wielders.
Equipment:
Lightsaber: Kylo Ren wields a unique yet crudely constructed crimson-colored crossguard lightsaber. Its design is said to vent out excess energy caused by the cracked and unstable kyber crystal within.
Alignment:
Lawful Evil
Current Token Count:
3
Other:
"This incarnation of Kylo Ren has been changed slightly due to certain altered events within the sequel trilogy, which will hopefully be revealed as the RP goes on. However his overall demeanor and intentions are generally the same as it was in the movies. The time period, prior to being drawn into "The Crossroads", would take place sometime after the events of "The Last Jedi" but before what would be the events of "Rise of Skywalker"."

NEUTRALISTS / UNDEFINED
Name:
| "Rodan" | "The One Born of Fire" | "The Fire Demon" |
Appearance:
As a human avatar, Rodan stands at a height of 5'11" (1.80 meters) and weighs around 174 lbs (78.92 kg), making him one of the lighter kaiju in his universe. He naturally sports lightly-tanned skin, with brown hair, flaming-colored cat-esque eyes, and claws on both his hands and feet. He has a very fit structure with visible muscles, however they are not as pronounced compared to other kaiju such as Godzilla. His armor is almost fitted with fiery colors, which come in an armored vest, thigh-guards, and shin guards, with only a black mesh to cover both his mid-rim, legs, and lower arms. Attached to his armored vest and mesh arm-coverings, does Rodan sport a large crimson cape, with the opposite side revealing a fiery gradient. He also wears a dark-red headband that has a fire symbol plastered on the front.
In his kaiju form, Rodan has two different sizes he can morph into; his macro and kaiju form. His macro size often maxes around 20 feet high (6.10 meters) with a wingspan of 40 feet (12 meters), while his maximum kaiju size has a height of 154 feet (46.93 meters) and a wingspan of 871 feet (265.48 meters). Both forms have him take the identity of a fiery pterosaur, with both his physique and general appearances also bearing a strong resemblance to birds of prey, with burgundy skin, a v-split crest with the ends curling inward. His wings are as if they were coated in hardened magma, with bits and pieces of debris usually falling off of him while he moves. While he lacks teeth, there are multiple serrations in his beak that give the illusion of such.
Series Origin:
Godzilla Series | Monsterverse Incarnation
Personality:
As his power set will have you believe, Rodan is infamous for his fiery attitude. He is highly aggressive and cocky in battle, while taking no crap from anyone who dare oppose him. Any insult thrown at him - seriously or not - can be prime game for him to throw more back at you with malicious intent. He is selfish and sports many narcissist traits that often exaggerate his own image. Make no mistake, he is indeed a powerful force to be reckoned with, but he can also be quite dumb. He often speaks much more with his words, rather than actions. In essence, he's quite a rogue.
The only sense of selfless honor is based on his allegiance is to the "Alpha", regardless of the latter's intentions. Anyone who proves that they are stronger than him and the one he considers the alpha, will promptly have him migrate to the victor's side. This example could be seen when King Ghidorah bested both Rodan and his current alpha, Godzilla, where he then assisted the tyrant three-headed king's own evil deeds. Only after Godzilla defeated Ghidorah and reclaimed alpha status was when he waddled back to the titan's knee and begged for forgiveness. He still has his personal beliefs on every alpha he's with, sometimes which he cannot help but to blurt out publicly.
Despite his expertise in getting into trouble, Rodan can also recognize when a situation is lost and abandon the battlefield to save his sorry ass from death or any punishment.
Abilities:
Enhanced Strength & Durability: Rodan possesses an internal volcanic combustion system, causing him to radiate heat, the temperature of which can reach up to 1200°C. This means that any fire-based attacks have little to no effect on him. He can also expel lava from the orifices located on the outer edges of his wings, in part due to his super-heated blood that resembles magma. He is also very powerful in all three forms, with him being able to lift far heavier opponents with his bare hands/feet alone even in his human form.
Flight: Rodan can fly in all three forms, with levitation being only available in his human form, and is extremely fast and agile while in the air.
Pyrokinesis: Being how his blood is quite literally molten magma, Rodan can use this in allowing him to harness and unleash fire-based attacks. His punches and kicks can be infused with fire in his human form as well as fire fireballs as well, while only being able to fire a beam from his mouth in kaiju form.
Transformation: Rodan can transform into 3 states: his human avatar, his macro kaiju form (20 feet tall), and his giant kaiju form (46 meters tall) based on the situation. He cannot grow any bigger than what the plot demands/recommends him.

<Snipped quote by Lmpkio> Would it be possible to nerf his mind probing a slight bit? I feel like mind reading has the potential to lead to some metagaming, and I'd like to play it a bit safe
I did attempt to nerf it somewhat (stronger the mind, less it may work) but I get your point. However I would use it sparingly against downed opponents if anything to grab information, not just use it right off the bat. Still, if you want me to get rid of it, I shall definitely do so.
I'm also slightly unsure about the force choke and telekinesis, as I'm just trying to imagine what any given character could do to avoid or break free from it. I won't ask you to nerf it (as I'm trying to not be too harsh, haha), but I would at least try to keep that in mind when playing
No worries - Kylo would mostly utilize it sparingly and if anything I could also add in that if he uses the force too much that it would drain his stamina (at least in this universe).
