I don't think dogs would be used in the military as much as cats would be used. Seeing as to how cats are the only animals capable of smelling out the monsters. And if I am not mistaken, all other animals were infected with the illness, don't quote me on that.
And what is Estonian, that is not even on of the races that you can be. I don't even think Russia exists in the story. You can be Norwegian, Finn, Icelander, Swede, or Dane.
Also, "Warrior caste, Sub caste: Huskarl"... is not an Occupation, unless GM says OK that is.
I am not GM or anything else, I'm just pointing out the things GM might point out. Or I'm just overstepping my boundaries and I might get punished by GM. Who Knows?
