Uh, he was taken in by Poseidon, but then thrown off Olympus because Zeus is an asshole and was still mad at Tantalus. Lol. *Shrug* If anything, maybe look for any tales of the fae in Celtic mythology or any African tales that would fit what you had envisioned for your dude.

Try looking at the Norse Mythology version of Loki, aside from having super powered fights on earth with the Avengers Marvel Loki isn't that different from Norse Loki. Race: Faunus (Lion)
Weapon: Ragnorok
Geni's weapon is a 4 foot long Bat'leth that has two barrels at the 2 far ends of the weapon. On the handle, there are 2 triggers, the one on the right side fires the bottom right gun, and vise versa. Ragnorok can also be separated into 2, right down the middle of the weapons handle, turing it into 2, two feet long blades.
Fighting Style: Geni is a very capable fighter and can hold his own against creatures of Grimm. He demonstrates peak physical ability, being able to do various acrobatics. He can move and react with impressive speed. Along with his physical abilities, Ren can also skillfully wield his weapon and effectively using it for melee combat. Using his weapons guns to propel himself up and down the field of battle, he also used it to make his attacks even stronger.
Semblance: Geni has the ability to change the kinetic energy of things by altering their own speed or mass. Unfortunately, if this is done in rapid succession his aure will be bepeted vey quickly.
Personality: Geni is easygoing, upbeat, energetic, funny, flirty and loves to tell jokes, even if they aren't funny. Geno is genuinely very intelligent and honest, even though he does not look or act the part. He sometimes doesn't think before reacting and he enjoys pulling pranks on people, especially those who he doesn't like. Despite his jokey attitude, Geni is emotionally scarred from the his actions with the White Fang and is known to have a different side to himself, he becomes an angrier, crueler, and merciless even to his friends, this but he hides a hurt and angry side of himself with humor.
Color: Grey
Emblem: A black and white sided lions head symbolizing Geni's 2 sides of himself.

Hello, this is defiantly interesting, do you mind if I join up.
Asa seemed offended by the offered hand shake so Nico let it hang by his side as he walked off. Nico could feel the forest temple his tall was flicking wildly with anticipation. He had to wonder what was with Asa, the faunas was a little bit wild, weird, he fight the stenotype perfectly. But why would a faunas subject himself to such ridicule, but Nico shrugged it off and assumed that Asa had to have gone through something in his past.
Nico's head then whipped around once he heard Asa's unusual question. " What?" Nico asked with a frown. What the hell was that supposed to mean, collar, why in hell would Nico even consider such a thing. But before Nico could answer the faunas, the wolf had already disappeared. "Are you serious." Nico mumbled to himself. Some team they were, Nico made his want to the sounds of a struggle, maybe Asa was stuck or something. Nico walked into a clearing and saw Asa fighting a single Grimm. The fight was impressive, but Ass was wounded twice by the time the fight had needed. Nico walked up to him and patted him on the back, "Nice job, next time, tell someone your running off before going." He said with a grin before turned back and walked back down the path that led to the temple.
Before long the path opened up into a cliff over looking a large field, a few feet away was the forest temple. Nico called back at Asa to get over to were he was, this was were they needed to be, and it looked like they were the first ones there. Nico was about to make his way over to the ruins, but he stood frozen solid when he heard the rustling of bushes. "Is that you Asa?" Nico said in a dark tone, making sure that if it was him, he knew Nico did not like what he was doing. Before Nico could react a black figure came rushing out of the woods and collided with Nico, sending him off the cliff. Nico hit the ground on his back, all the air was blown out of his kinds and his was slightly dazed. Nico could barely see the wings of a large Grimm, Nico immediately knew that it was a Gryphix.
