Please include details about said species."I’m what you call a Nox Human, we are supposed to be a step up in humanity’s evolutionary ladder, but I feel that we are nothing special. We are human none the less, but with an altered genetic code you can say, natural or scientific, I don’t know. Scientists say that we can harness and manipulate the synapses and neural impulses in our own bodies, to a certain point at least. This allows us to enhance physical and mental attributes. But there are drawbacks, the amount of energy needed to dodge a bullet coming at us from 50 feet away, can tire us out, dodging one at point blank can kill us from the exertion and overload, even before the bullet hits. Are kind are constantly plagued by heart disease, and with the ability to enhance are brains functions, comes with all kinds of brain damage. A lot to take in. We are considered to be normal people compared to those in rest of the universe, although there may be a little discrimination between us. Some of us think we are “better”.”
