Ah, that's good. I hope.
Shit, I've just seen the flaw in my plan. I'm charging towards 4 of them, what are the other 8 with bolters going to do, hopefully not shoot the terminator charging their general location and go for those that are in melee combat with their buds, right?
@GodOfWar Want me to roll for the Rosarius or do you want to?
I'm fine either way.
The Chaplain, as he looked upon the banners with disdain, saw one looking back at him, the Iron Mask, backed by a red background. That of the Iron Warriors.
"Brothers! Traitors of the Iro-" Flames wracked the room and bolter fire erupted seemingly from all around him. Chaplain Aleros staggered backwards, he knew he'd been hit, the shots having pierced his most holy shield and armour. Gritting himself against any feeling of pain, he remembered his vows as his eyes searched the tunnel ways for his prey.
"I shall Uphold the Honour of the Emperor and of those that fight besides me... I shall Suffer not the Unclean to Live" He spoke aloud as he marched forwards bringing his Crozius Arcanum to bay. He walked calmly and with purpose, passing his brothers engaged in combat with the heretics that had charged them. His eyes locked onto those that had fired upon him. The Crozius Arcanum in his right hand crackled to life with power as he approached the four heretics. The skull helm of the Chaplain would be the last they ever saw. For those that waged war against the Emperor of Mankind deserved no other.

Here, I'm here. Sorry, I was away. Let me just catch up on the OOC and IC and make a post.

Edit: It appears I've been hit, multiple times. I'll get to updating my CS on any changes to Aleros' status, health and such.
@Leolycan Alright. We're done. Proceed with the burning.
Chaplain Aleros, steeled himself against the visions flooding his vision. The true power of Chaos manifesting in his mind, the power which they would soon face. What he bore witness to disturbed him terribly and he would never speak of it again. He knew his battle brothers would be experiencing similar machinations of chaos.
"Kinsmen, we are being tested. We cannot know what madness assails us nor what lies ahead. But what we do know is duty. Our duty to cleanse this space hulk and deny it to the enemy. Remain strong." His voice rang out as they made their way further into the hulk, into chaos.

As the Chaplain looked across the village of twisted metal before them. His courage rose, whatever inhabited this unholy site was of the physical realm. Something that could be slain and therefore eradicated from the hulk. As he watched Deimos looking through the trophies that adorned the camp, Aleros' own gaze was drawn towards the banners. Searching for a symbol of allegiance, whether it be to the chaos gods or a chapter if their steel was to be truly tested this day. He needed to know that which would become his quarry. Meanwhile, his mind worked for a more long term action.
"We now face a choice. Do we continue along this path we have begun, or remain and await whatever abomination inhabits this dark place. And end it." His voice crackled over the vox.
Should we wait until Saturday for Pripovednik, or carry on and assume he's following us.
@GodOfWar I agree with that too. Although i might recommend that certain actions might earn one independent xp if they act independently. For example, perhaps going that extra mile to search a room while the rest of the team carry on. Placing themselves at risk but they manage to uncover some ancient tech. Which they receive the reward for. Something like that maybe.
Chaplain Aleros kept his gaze on the metal ceiling above. Awaiting the repercussions of Zethidis' reckless actions in the moments prior. There was to be none, the scratching and scampering above began to recede down the hall behind them and the right most.
"Deimos, did you get a read on them?" The Chaplains voice crackled over the vox. He took a few steps back, regarding the Legionnaire before him. Watching him for a few seconds before turning his back and making his way towards the warped corridor, approaching the Red Wolfs back. A growl echoed across his vox, one that could only be described as that of a wolf.
"Brother Rand, is everything alright?" He spoke as he approached.

Taking up position behind the Red Wolf, the chaplain held his Crozius Arcanum at the ready, crackling with energy as it danced around the mauls head. Should the need arise, he would be able to strike with it. The corridor appeared even more warped from his position, surely this was the doing of the warp, twisting the metal. Where the warp was, heretics and chaos followed. For Alaros this was a chance to prove his worth. To wage his own crusade against the forces of the warp should they reside within the space hulk.
"This trial will test our faith, prove yourself worthy in the glory of the Emperor and we shall succeed. For the Emperor protects." His voice echoed across the vox comms as he followed the Red Wolf into the darkness.
