@Akayaofthemoon Honestly, hearing the word 'girls' work' or 'boys' work' makes me want to rip my eyes out of my sockets because I don't think your sex should determine what work you do. Or anything you do, for that matter.

He's also pissing me off because he keeps making fun of my brother since he fits stereotypical feminine traits more than male ones, and holy shit does it really matter what he likes and how he's like if it's not hurting anyone? Like seriously, there's already going to be judgmental people calling him out for it and probably bully him for it, you're his cousin, you shouldn't be one of those people. It's so freakin' stupid I just...Uhg.

@Akayaofthemoon I like to hide in closets when I have migraines, actually, since it's usually triggered by light and sound sensitivity, so being in a small, dark, and quiet space is great. Except my parents don't appreciate that very much, and ever since my cousins moved in there hasn't been a single spot left in the house that is empty except for certain corners in the basement, and since my aunt and uncle reside there my parents don't like me going down there. Frybo is more than welcome to join me in the basement, though. Then maybe I'll be left alone. O v e

And honestly, it's been pretty good as of late, my cousin can just be a piece of work. The time before my mother took anger management classes was actual crap, but I'm not going to get into that because that's a time long gone and whatever damage was done back then I do not hold my mother responsible for, because PTSD is a bitch and I wish she had gotten help much earlier for her own sake.

@HaltingBlooper Honestly, he just...He can be a real piece of work sometimes.
It sucks too because my mother is the complete opposite. My mother is like "Oh, so you fell down the stairs while carrying the vacuum down and had said vacuum land on your head? Don't bother checking for concussions, just go work." So that mentality bugs me as well, but "LOLNOPE girls' work I'm out" just...Uhg.

@Akayaofthemoon Bwah, I'm still sorry about venting, I just really needed to get that off my chest because he can really irritate me sometimes. Not anger, because that's something I rarely do feel, but irritate? Yes.

Seriously though, I don't know how he can feel okay with watching TV while his little sister works like that.

@HaltingBlooper Here's the thing though, he is strong, he is fit, and he's perfectly capable. He's just like 'oh I don't want to learn because that's girls' work' (apparently my brother is a girl) and is lazy. And my aunt was okay with that for some reason. Like, she didn't like it, and she wanted to teach him, but she excused it anyways, so now my mother's gone out of her way to teach him. Like seriously, he's almost sixteen, he should be able to do this stuff. If he gets a job here like he's been trying to do, he's going to have to learn as well.

@Akayaofthemoon If anything, I feel bad for the little cousin. She's so ridiculously sweet and is always trying her best to help out despite being the most incapable...And her older brother is just...Uhg. Honestly, I can handle it, as much as I don't want to because sleep, but it's not worth upsetting my mother. I just wish the little one didn't have to work and the older one could get off his butt because I do not care if you're a guy. My brother is a guy too and he helps out a hell lot better than you, and he's way younger than you are. I don't care if it's not manly or whatever dumb excuse you have, you should be ashamed of letting your eleven year old sister who's both sick and on god knows what medication due to health complications work in your place when you're perfectly capable of doing it yourself. Thank god my mother's teaching him how to work. > . <

I mean, damn, I hope I don't come off as whiny, because I still love him (sort of stuck with that because family) but like...His behaviour really, really bugs me sometimes, and I sort of needed to let it out, because god knows if I say this in front of my family they're going to be pissed because I shouldn't talk that way about my cousin, but still.

@21308 There is no napping. Mother doesn't allow it, and even if she did, it's sort of hard when there's ten people living in one house, with the majority being children. And a bird. Plus housework because apparently out of the four people who are to stay at home today, the most physically capable was never taught how to do housework because he is a dude and therefore my aunt apparently thought it was okay for him to never learn (???) so it's my tiny little brother, my even tinier little cousin who has various medical problems, and me, the sleep deprived one who's recovering from surgery.

I legitimately just did not sleep at all tonight for a large variety of reasons, but I just thought I'd let you know because a) This probably means I won't be posting much, and b) If I do, expect really dumb mistakes and excuse the quality. Drawing requires a lot less thinking on my end (until colours or god forbid shading come into play) so I might just do that for a while. Plus, still need to finish Baryte.
