Current Remember my joke theory about how the world ended in 2012 and each subsequent year has just been a layer by layer descent into hell? It feels less and less like a joke each year.

Bro it's so weird thinking I was 15 when I joined here. I'm turning 21 in March. Time is a scam.

@Akayaofthemoon I wonder how Eve would feel about calling him Reg-Reg. XD I can easily see her just calling him Reg though, since she's already starting calling Amber 'Amb' (my brother called Amber Ambie which is even more freakishly adorable and I don't think Eve would be able to handle saying that and ever take herself seriously again) so 'Reg' isn't too far fetched.

@pyroman Congrats on your first job! I hope it's a good first experience. ' v '
This is super off topic but my brother just referred to Reggie as 'Reg-Reg' and I'm horribly sorry if Eve ever adopts this nickname because it's ridiculously adorable. XD

Also, it turns off I am going to be dragged off twice today, but it hopefully shouldn't be for too long.
@Akayaofthemoon

Let us die together, then. XD

"Wait, maybe I do have a boyfriend!"

Kronshi: Is it Emerald or Amber Emerald or Amber I need to know
@Akayaofthemoon

Eve loves you too XD

I'm dying now though because you said that reminds you of her and now I see that wig Ryan wears and I just think of Skitzo's Regina as Eve all of a sudden and just...

But as Eve.

And I die on the inside. And maybe on the outside too.
@Akayaofthemoon It was really upsetting, but it's alright.
Also, I wish that were me. I work best when it's morning, and I mean early, early morning. I can work better at 3:00am than most people can at 3:00pm. :P

ON A MUCH DUMBER NOTE, LITERALLY BLOODSTONE AND AQUAMARINE TO EVE:

@Akayaofthemoon I always wanted to join band, but never got the chance. My mother is crazy about sleep and when she heard I'd have to wake up at 6 in order to attend she went nuts and told me I absolutely couldn't. Considering I had wanted to be in band since I was four, before I even started school, I was preeeeeetty upset with this, and my teacher tried to convince my mother as well since I was, not to brag, pretty ahead of the class due to have playing the ocarina and panflute (now broken by my cousin) prior and knew how much I wanted in. Three years later I'm pretty much always waking but at 5 because I know my brain doesn't fuction as well during the night as in the morning, so that's when I do most of my extra work for school. :/
@Akayaofthemoon Oh god, I remember playing clarinet. It wasn't fun. Wish the grade 7 and 8 teacher also let me play the ocarina in place. I wish I weren't stupid enough to switch to clarinet and sticked to the drums instead. I miss percussion but it's been six years since I've last played so I hardly remember anything, but I still keep my old drumsticks around in case I ever do get the chance to pick it up again.

But yeah, nobody learned anything other than 'Never trust David and Ibrahim to teach anything ever again'. It was pretty crazy, but then again the grade 4-5 years of my life were easily the craziest, and also filled with so many events that were so surreal I cannot blame people for thinking I'm lying when I say them. The recorder class thing was pretty tame, actually. It helps when your teacher is as crazy as your classmates, and I think I'm only the loony kid I am now because of them. XD

Man, I miss those days. They were crazy but they were fun, and I miss everyone. Even the few jerks. We weren't a huge school and there aren't many French kids, so we all sort of had to learn to stick up for each other like family, even if we hated each other's guts. It's weird to explain. ^ ^"

Gilles raised both of his palms into the air and shook his head.

"I know you meant cigarettes, it's called a...Um..."
Mind blank. Perfect timing. One of the perks to being trilingual; when you can remember that is blague in French and grapje in Flemish, but you cannot remember what it is in English.

His voice lowered to a murmer that hardly anyone bit him could hear and his head and arms went to the ground. "Um...Blague...Bloog? Blog? No, joke."

"...Joke," he said more loudly, his head raised once more but his arms still at his sides, "It's a joke. Don't have to be such a grump. And I already told you, I don't have any."
@Akayaofthemoon
Speaking of students teaching, in grade four and five, our teacher, who was supposed to teach us music, didn't actually know how to play any instruments other than piano, which we can't really teach the whole class. So they got some fifth graders to try and teach, and, um, you can expect it didn't go well.* After four very, very strange classes, she gave up and our teacher decided she'd make our class a choir instead and write out our report cards as if we were learning recorders like all the other kids. In grade six, I went to a new school and they took music pretty seriously (they had been learning since second grade), even though they were all still playing recorders, and I was so utterly lost that my teacher just agreed to let me play my ocarina in place.

*Actual things I remember them saying:

"Okay, so you like, basically, hold thing thingy like this, and do this thing with your fingers, and you like, sort of spit into it, but you don't spit into it, and..."

"FOR FUCK'S SAKE STOP TRYING TO PLAY WE'RE TRYING TO TEACH"

"You guys are actually all dumbasses. I can't even do this shit anymore how are you all so stupid?"

"ALRIGHT, LISTEN UP ASSHOLES, WE'RE GOING TO DO THIS AND WE'RE GOING TO GET IT RIGHT!"

It eventually just became a chaotic free-for-all but with poorly executed notes instead of punches and kicks, because they weren't doing a very good job. XD
@pyroman

I'm just like, "Yeah, I took computer tech classes last year, so I know how to take apart computers and put them together, repair certain parts, make my own basic computer given the right materials, play around a little bit routers and hack a little (routing and hacking are the banes of my existence in that class, you'd think it'd be interesting at the very least but it'd difficult, tedious, and boring, and I'm glad I wasn't present for most of the class), put together electrical circuits which would hurt the heads of basic science class kids, played around a bit with 3D printers, got to work and program orders into lasers to build wheels out of plastic, and do some basic programming for robots, but I still do not know how to access the dialing thing for phones."
