Current Remember my joke theory about how the world ended in 2012 and each subsequent year has just been a layer by layer descent into hell? It feels less and less like a joke each year.

Bro it's so weird thinking I was 15 when I joined here. I'm turning 21 in March. Time is a scam.

@21308 I don't know, a lot of people loved the second season, but I still liked the first one better. On the plus side the animation and VA did get better with the second season (and considering how good the latter was that's saying a lot) but meh. Maybe it's just the tone shift that bothered me? It felt a lot less lighthearted. Not that it didn't have it's moments for sure, because it certainly did, but ye...And it felt like it was crying too hard at times, but again, probably just me. A lot of folks loved the second season, so take my word with a grain of salt. ^ ^" Almost everyone agrees on the colour scheme thing though and the creator made an apology for it saying that he was trying to incorporate some criticisms he got before about the colours and didn't know he was making them worse.

The second season did continue and beautifully end the subplot with Rockoon though so that was well worth it ahahaha I love my freak of a fuzzball too much.
Now I'm just thinking of how all the characters in here would be like in TOME. How they'd act differently from their actual selves, dual accounts and reasoning, even simple things like how they'd make their player look like and such.
@21308 Do check it out. ^ ^" I'd say don't judge it by the first episode though, creator himself said they were still not quite sure what they were doing at the first episode, second episode he was really proud of though it was also experimental, third one was when they began to settle in. And the VA gets way better by the second episode and it's the one thing that definitely didn't decline by the second season. There's this one bit in season two in particular where the creator of the series (who also does VA for two characters) screams as if he's gotten his arm chopped off and the pain sounds real people we asking if he actually had to hurt himself badly to get the reaction. XD
@Akayaofthemoon

What if I told you that I associate Talc with music boxes, especially those with a lullaby like tone? TT v TT
@21308 I'm usually don't say I like or dislike x genre of music because I always make exceptions. The only thing that is 100% consistent is that I'm a sucker for anything with a music box I don't know why but I am.

Music boxes are my weakness.
@21308 It is, I can at least say for the characters. Especially Nylocke. He's not my #1 favourite but it's this universally agreed upon thing that it's like, impossible to not like Nylocke for some reason. XD And as for the quality, it's pretty high up especially in the VA department since the animator does VA himself, characters are great, plot varies, writing is good (gets progressively better and better through first season and declines in second season, though the last episode (thus far, season 3 still unconfirmed) did make up for it a bit), animation is alright, use of colours went from good to nOPE in second season (I was cool with the redesigns but dear god those colors I'm sorry but I really liked the old ones better I hope they go back to similar colour schemes if a third season does happen), music is wonderful as is the VA...I feel like a really grumpy critic now. XD

It is good, worth checking out.

@21308 Tomeblr is a name of a blog that takes Tumblr posts and applies them to characters on the show. The show is called TOME, or Terrain of Magical Expertise. It's a web animation by Chris Niosi and though it has its faults (I particularily wasn't a huge fan of the newest season but eh to each their own) it's a very interesting concept and a lot of the characters really grow onto you, plus the VAs are all great (except in episode one where they're still trying to figure out how to things but even then it's not bad just not amazing it's good). Rockoon is by far my favourite of the bunch but I also love Doubling, Kirb, Nylocke (okay let's be real here who doesn't like Nye), Rubirules, and as brief as her appearances are, Granda.

No but seriously Rockoon anfkdgdfngdk bless the not-a-rodent.
@Guardian Angel Haruki

Me, I'm just like.

"Mac.
Mac was in the show.
Dear god I love Mac."

Oh, and Jontron did his first VA thing for an animation in it as well. He was Sniperwheel. ^ ^
@21308 Wait, you mean the pictures I posted...?
@Guardian Angel Haruki

I'm guessing I should check out Gravity Falls eventually because I hear it's really good but ye.
