Bro it's so weird thinking I was 15 when I joined here. I'm turning 21 in March. Time is a scam.
"This isn't best for me. Howlite is dead. And I'm not. That's not how it was supposed to work. I don't want to die...That's not what I'm saying, but I'm only going to live for so long anyways. Howlite had a long time ahead of her. I don't. Reggie will probably outlive me. And if I'm forced to make a decision, which I am certain will have to happen at some point...I'm not welcome here. You can say what you want, Aquamarine, ma'am, but I know I'm not welcome here. That much has already been made clear to me. That doesn't mean I won't consider your side, for the sake of the newborns, and if Reggie so decides, his sake as well...But don't you tell me I'm welcome here when I am clearly not. Neither the humans or the newborns are going to appreciate my presence, unlike Reggie, but from what Talc told me, Homeworld...Doesn't think any higher of gems like me than they think of humans.
...For the sake of those superior...Other gems...We're disposable.
Both sides seem unwelcoming and both sides have those I want to protect. But one side has someone whom not only I care for and trust, but does the same for me...And if he stays on that side...I'm sorry, but I think the choice will be difficult, but, ultimately, obvious."
@SaarebasEve won't let Amb ahahahahah "Aquamarine and her rebels have done the same to her own kind, though. There's no difference. And you say this, though the very thing you want to protect is life, and yet you wish there wasn't any...You confuse me, Amb.
...Look, I'm going to stop now. I can see I'm upsetting you and that this isn't going anywhere, so I don't want to make things worse. I'm sorry I hurt you again, Amber."
@Saarebas "Bloodstone said himself, this planet was ideal for gem production. No planet could come near to providing what this one could for gemkind, and for that they saw the expense of mankind as acceptable. Not to mention that, think of it this way, this can't be the only other planet that had life which was targeted. Why weren't rebellions created in their sake? Were these gems you view as 'good' too scared? Too uncertain? Or were they simply not worth as much? Regardless, the point is many other lifeforms have probably died out at the hands of not just the Homeworld gems, but the Crystal Gems as well. I'm not condemning or approving of anyone's actions, I'm saying it's all about perspective. I understand that you think Bloodstone is the bad guy, and I understand why, and I'm not going to try to change your opinion. I'm just saying that it's all perspective. To him, you are the bad guy. To me...I don't know what to think, honestly. You are all simply yourselves, as far as I'm concerned."
"And Aquamarine has never hurt anyone? She thought these people were more important than her own kind, as otherwise she wouldn't have gone through with the rebellion. Both sides think what they're doing is right, Amb, and in doing so, they're going to hurt others. Even I, who tried so hard to stay out of this, ended up hurting you. Hurting Sodalite. Letting Howlite die when it should have been me. Hurting others is unavoidable, Amber."
"Y-Yeah, leave...Leave living sort-of-me alone...Please...Talc hasn't...Talc feels bad enough for not being there for her, she doesn't need you two putting Eve through anymore confliction that she does without her...U-Um...Guidance, I suppose. She...She won't even listen to us anymore. T-Took this pretty hard on herself. S-So for the sake of your deceased ally, Aquamarine, ma'am..."
@Saarebas "You think there's a good and evil in this, Amb? Everyone is doing what they think is best, and in one way or another, whether they like it or not, it will always hurt someone. Good and evil is as much as a lie as Bloodstone's bad food excuse."
