Current Remember my joke theory about how the world ended in 2012 and each subsequent year has just been a layer by layer descent into hell? It feels less and less like a joke each year.

Bro it's so weird thinking I was 15 when I joined here. I'm turning 21 in March. Time is a scam.

@Ninian I like school too, but I didn't like public schooling, especially when my depression would get really bad. But either way, hope she makes it through okay. ' ^ '

It still must suck to deal with though...
@Ninian Well, Anxiety and Depression actually both leave lowered immune systems (a lot of people don't know that mental illness also has physical effects) and Anxiety also causes digestion problems. And has she ever considered Alternative Schooling? It's helped me a lot since I've been going, finally getting my As and occasional Bs again, when before in public schooling when this depressive period hit I was getting Ds, Rs (Fs to you 'Muricans) and occasional Cs. You know there's a problem when your lowest mark was a 70% prior and when it hits that it becomes a 23%. And since most Alternative schools let you work at your own pace, you don't miss much when you're sick and whatnot. IDK, it's helped me loads, especially since they have more resources for the mentally ill, abused, LGBT+, drug addicts, etc, the former three in which I fall into. Not fun stuff but they help me through it.

And dear fucking god, Tumblr... @______@

I'm sorry to hear about your pain stuff. The worse I get are side effects from my meds and illnesses, muscle spasms, and migraines. *Hugs*

@Ninian

I don't know what that is (unless you mean some sort of anxiety disorder, which, congrats to me, I have to deal with Generalized Anxiety Disorder alongside crippling Major Depressive Disorder and brief-enough-that-I'm-not-considered-suffering-from-Bipolar-2-by-my-Psychiatrist episodes of Hypomania! Don't even get me started on Tumblr and their romanticizing of mental disorders and how they wear them like fashion statements, uhg...)

YES KIDS BOP HAS A COVER, BE VERY VERY SCARED
@Ninian I definitely recommend it. ' v '

Thing is though, he didn't even get to finish the equivalent of 6th grade over there. My mom didn't finish 4th. Not even a highschool degree on them. *Hugs* I wish things were easier on them. Dad works too hard and mom hurts too hard, psychically and mentally. Backpain's a bitch but PTSD is a whole different can of worms. Worse part is is that it affects all the kids as well, and though she's been much better with treatment, it's been getting bad again as of late and my Talk + EMDR therapist (who used to be her therapist) wants her to resume treatment again, but is out of the country until after my summatives are done.

aLSO YES IT IS. THAT AND THE KID'S BOP COVER.
@Phoenix I wish I had some good news but it's really been a mess on my end as well. The only bright side is that I'm rebooting an old RP, and I had a really good (not happy, good) dream last night, which I'm upset I got waken up from early. But it's nice to see you around Phoenix.

If you want we can talk about what's bringing you down via PMs. ' ^ '
@Ninian
XD GaD's actually my favourite game, so... ^ ^"

Tell me if you do. It's great. XD

Also, I wish. He'd probably have to work less that way, the poor guy. No, he works as a pizza delivery guy. Hard to get many better jobs when you're an immigrant who never had a chance to finish their education because Saddam Hussein bombed your homes, schools, etc., your wife can't work because of crippling backpain and suffers from PTSD, and you couldn't continue it because you already had two children to support by the time you got to Canada. > . <

Also, no joke, I was thinking of that exact cover when I saw that link. Except mines is a little different...
@Ninian

Thanks! The one that's almost finished is going very, very poorly, since a) It's on XD Gale of Darkness which isn't exactly the easiet game (look at that final fight!), b) We have A LOT of rules that make it way harder, and c) My inexperienced little brother is sorta playing it with me, and I'd say at least 60% of the deaths are his fault, most likely 75%.

You should go check it out if you like. ' v '

It's not all that impressive when you look at my dad. 7 fluent languages, 3 semi-fluent, god knows how many limited. And my emo phase was a result of idolizing my sister, and at that time she was in hers and would drill it into my head, so if I wasn't already sucked in there'd be no escape. Dear god, I STILL know some of those songs by heart. Bring Me to Life was actually a favourite at that age and I still know it by heart as much as I wish I didn't, and it's a freakin' internet meme now.
@Ninian

I'm a sap too and it happens. ^ ^" I just love Nuzlockes though, it makes the experience all the more real with the stakes, personal, and emotional. Plus, the challenge's great and so is the heartbreak. XD
I'm currently going through three of them right now actually, and one of them's near the end, one way or another...Save me. Nuzlockes are like an addiction to me. @____@

She is indeed! She's from ProJared's Nuzlocke of FireRed. Not my persona favourite Nuzlocker though, that'd have to be PBG, solely because of how incompetent and uninformed he is of Pokémon. Makes it far more challenging and fun to watch, especially the battles he wins. We were all surprised he made it up to the champion. As for whether he wins, well, I won't spoil it if you ever want to watch.

And yup, I'm fluent in all, though my French, especially spoken, could use some work, and I only started to learn how to read and write in Kurdish at 13, so four years ago, and I still need to learn more in that aspect. I can pick up bits of Persian, Italian, and as much as I hate to admit it, Japanese in my borderline weaboo phase. (And yes, it was borderline, thank god. My only full blowen phase ever was my Emo phase and that was when I was 4-7, and mostly I have my sister to blame for it. Sorta long story XD)
@Ninian

Not only that, my Mawile (Snapdragon - I tend to have different themes for Pokémon names, especially in Nuzlockes, and the one he was in was of plants) was an invaluable member of our team. His death hit hard.
And I bet you Nuptup smells of nothing but corpses, if you know about her. XD

Ah, you're multi-lingual too? What languages? (Kurdish, English, and French, in order learned.)
@21308 Yes, yes they do! XD
