Current Opening a jar of honey didn't go so well. Washed most of it off, but my wrists are still sticky for some reason.

So, there's this rabbit outside my house, and I'm not sure what to do with it. It sits there sometimes, eating grass and staring into space. It isn't mine, though, so it runs off when we approach.

Name: Steven Falcon

Age: 13

Personality: Somewhat lazy, Steven won’t do anything he’s not told too. Sometimes immovable, he rarely deviates or extends from a given task, unless something personally takes his interest. He’s quite whimsical, relaxed and somewhat unmotivated, largely content to live and let live. However, his family pushed him to be a trainer and some of his friends are also trainers, so he’s becoming a trainer if only to make them leave him be. Despite that, he’s quite optimistic and figures that a few years away from home would do him some good, along with satisfying his parents.

History: Steven and his family live in a relatively small town, with enough to get by. It wasn’t exactly amazing or anything, but there was some nature around so it made ideal space for the day care center. Steven’s father was a bird pokemon trainer (you know, one of those guys) while his mother was a pokemon breeder. They both had brief stints being trainers before settling down and raising a family of Steven and his little sister. While his sister was very curious and stuff, Steven really wasn’t. It was somewhat worrying for his parents how he’d be content to sit in the sun and stare into the sky for a while.

When he grew up to be close to the age his parents started their trainer career, they started dropping subtle hints about it. They even sent him to trainer school for a little while, trusting him to his aunt living in the city where the trainer school is. Obviously, he eventually realised that they wanted him to have a trainer adventure, and while that wasn’t something he was exactly keen on, his friends decided that they also wanted to be trainers, so through a mixture of peer pressure and expectations, Steven started to beign his trainer journey, probably.

Wanted Starter: Spearow

I'll just wait until he replies about it! I don't want to make anyone angry, its no big deal though!

P.S Are we going to have a separate Character Sheet thread? Its tiring with my slow internet hopping from page to page to find everyone's Character Sheets.

When the OOC is up, there'll be a characters tab. All the active people will probably put theirs there, so you just gotta wait really.

I am confused

Well, this happened:

<Snipped quote by Sho Minazuki>

I mean, it's fine, but I just don't want everyone running around with a shiny Pokemon, because they're still rare, like in the game.

And the GM is also having a shiny pokemon, so it might be fine? Don't quote me on that though.
@Lord Santa Thanks! I just wanted to make sure, is Budew an okay starter?

Should be, because the way the GM said it, you could practically get away with anything except for legendaries if you justified it, so a shiny budew is pretty fitting.

As for logistically, I have no idea. I was never really into grass pokemon myself, truth be told. But I figure it's got good crowd control and solar beam's got good damage on it. That said, it'd probably be a bit squishy, but raw stats don't matter so much in the early game. I'd say it's a pretty solid choice for a starter though, because it's got some versatility, but crowd control might be a bit hard to train.
@MissFortune Shinies are fine because, to quote the co-GMs, a shiny is basically just a palette swap and hence doesn't adversely skew the game (basically).
Damn. I'm torn between two Pokemon. I want a shiny, but I'm torn between having the endgame a shiny luxray, or shiny staraptor. Thoughts?

I'd go for Luxray because it's lightning and has bite for use against psychic pokemon. I do have a Luxray and a Staraptor in Diamond though, and I can tell you that the Staraptor kicks so much more ass.

Anyway, for what it's worth, Luxray's a bit more metal than Staraptor but Staraptor isn't that far behind and might end up stronger.

ok but can I ask on if I can choose ralts as a starter or a female snorunt?

I don't see why you couldn't, so probably
<Snipped quote by Lord Santa>

Ohhhhhhh, yeah. Idk, if it matters tho. So what, we have to ghastly. No big deal.

Fair enough, I suppose.
No, no ghastly.

Here, it's BraveWold's one. Dunno if he's still here though, but there's the ghastly.
Name: Scout

Appearance:

Personality: Scout is a big fan of cute pokemon. He loves Eevees, Skittys, and Pikachus. He is easily frightened and grossed out which s ironic his pokemon being a Ghastly. His timid personality often gets him made fun of making him shy around other new kids. He can easily open up to pokemon, as long as they are not trying to attack him.

He can be a bit dumb at times, maybe gullible is a better way of putting it. He's way too trusting and naive. When you get on his bad side you can see he negative attitude affect his pokemon. When he gets heated up (As in angry) he forces his pokemon to go all out with attacks and doesn't bother with stat changing moves.

History:

Scout dreams of finding the legendary Jirachi, a pokemon that grants wishes. He wishes for his beloved Pichu, a pokemon gifted to him at the age of 5, to be alive again. Scout believes that his Ghastly is his deceased Pichu and wants his physical cute form back. The Pichu had died in a fire set by an unknown pokemon. He has set off to study the whereabouts of the legendary pokemon.

At the moment Scout and Byte (His Ghastly) are on the first route away from their hometown. Byte is having trouble with all the normal types because he can't touch them. The wild pokemon stopped fighting Byte and is now after Scout.

Wanted Starter: Ghastly

No, you can still join. And yes a ghastly is fine.

Don't we have someone with a Ghastly already?
