Poor Venin.
Venin could've swore he heard Ev call him a snowman. "I'm not a snowman..." he whispered, no longer drumming. He leaned back in the chair he was sitting in. "Well, I guess I might be," his drumsticks sat in his lap as he contemplated, the coldness in the air fading.
"Ah, well, Ev, that's one thing I have little understanding with. I assume it's something on another plane of existence?" Venin was comfortable enough that his instrument unfroze. He didn't expect that his guess to be right, but it was either something someone like him couldn't see or it was Ev. Venin was hoping that it was her.
"Sorry, I suppose I expected you to reply with your own name. Also, whatever's following you doesn't seem very... what's the word? Affable. That's the word," Venin began playing what he remembered from the song. It seemed to be always on the radio, and his mother was always on the pop station. The music running through his head didn't do much to calm him down though. I thought heaven can't help me now... Venin half hummed half sang the song in his head. Surprisingly, he knew the majority of it.
"Venin," he didn't like this girl, she reminded him of a predator, toying with it's prey before it goes in for the kill. Or maybe, rather he didn't like the thing following the girl. He was so nervous at this point his own coldness was giving him chills. Frost began forming on the drumset and sticks, he wanted to leave, but he wanted to play the drums. Venin figured he might as well go along with the song, to try and get whatever was freaking him out to leave him be before he ended up turning every drop of moisture in the air to ice.
Venin felt a weird energy coming from the person that had just entered the room. It made him nervous, which caused the air temperature to fluctuate. He really needed to get that under control before he gave someone hypothermia. Venin blinked a couple times. He swore he saw an outline of someone. He didn't want to catch whatever it was that was in the room's attention, so he went back to focusing on rhythm.
Oh, thanks. Also, welcome back~
Venin began playing a tempo for her since that was basically his whole reason for being here. Wouldn't hurt him to practice the only thing he seemed to do. He liked the drums, even though he didn't get to do much. He wished he had his own set at home, but, having a set here was an excuse to stay. Venin waved a small, "hello" back before continuing attempting to help Yasmin.
"Explains the lemony smell then. I'm not even sure what I am, to be honest. I mean, besides probably the most anxiety filled kid you'll ever meet," Venin set his drumsticks on one of the drums.
"Well, I figured you were undead because of that. Besides, I would feel rather crappy if I froze you trying to be friends," Venin gave a little smile, his memory of that morning fading with the chill in the room. "So, mind sharing which type of breathing corpse you are? I don't.. mean any offense of course," he started looking around the room, assuming that he just killed any possible chances at friendship.
