@mattmanganon Damn you for using her love of being a decent Newtype and her extremely high empathy.
Lin watched the Wing Zero leave, seemingly disinterested in knowing why they were told the area was decrepit. It obviously was not. Seeing as how she was given implicit free movement, she did follow the Zeon leader. Once forced out of her suit, she grabbed her handgun, first aid kit, and medical backpack. She followed calmly, keeping an eye on the leader. His credentials fit properly, hinting he was at least an ex-Federation. Once inside the Black center, signs of tech destruction were obvious. She let out an audible and dissatisfied grumble. It was obvious they were doing something shady.

Crimson seeing the kids and calling for her to help snapped her into auto mode. His emotional state was genuine, so she felt no reason to distrust him. Her sprint down the hall ended with him dragging out the two. She cracked open the hard case of her first aid kit. She connect both to her biometric readers. "Heart rate and pulse are normal for anesthesia. They can breathe, but they are going to need a jolt to wake up. Do you know how to use an adrenaline shot?" She grabbed two needles of adrenaline, holding one out to Crimson Hold. "They will live, but they will be in a hell of a daze after waking up."
Yeah, it is how the post works. Besides, it isn't like they couldn't be asked to go out and help
Well how likely do you think it is that the Valhalla employees could fix up an acient prototype Zifran monster magecha? I imagine she and Donella are doing it essentially solo and it would take a good week
As per back story, mine just got there and just got done fighting a ton of monsters. So, repairs are necessary first.
She would as she feels a need to know everything she can about any given situation
Shailagh dangled almost precariously from her Magecha's collar. Her gaze was intently focused upon the joint between the head and torso. She yelled down, seemingly to no one. "Donella, move the head up! I need more space." The head raised, but a sickening grinding noise permeated the storage bay. Shailagh grumbled loudly. "Stop, that's good. Damn manticore damaged the joint. It better not be a needle." She fit the upper third of her body into the joint, flicking on a work light inside to give her a better view. She got to see what she dreaded. A manticore needle wedged itself into the joint and cut a lubrication line.

"Sonofa! Donella, I need a plasma cutter and an arc welder! And a welding mask too!" A loud hiss of depressurization echoed through the bay as the back of the chest opened to the cockpit. Out came Donella, a very aquatic looking type of fey. She laughed for a moment and gave her wife a sarcastic response as she left to get the items requested. "Well, we wouldn't need that if you had listened to me and took cover instead of trying to pin it and lockjaw it."

Shailagh rolled her eyes at Donella's antics. She didn't give it a response as she needed to prep the area. There were secondary fragmentations of needles in the joint, partially from moving the head, mostly from extra needles hitting armor on the way in. She picked out the smaller pieces easily enough, but she had to grab a couple tools to pry and pull the other fragments out. Some were stubbornly stuck within the mechanisms. Luckily, her Magecha was durable enough that things like this barely did anything to its overall functionality.
Well, like I mentioned, I am holding off for new people. Our roster has gotten very small

Oh, fair enough
