Bio

Been on-and-off of the site for a long time. Male, late-twenties. My interests are varied, but steer towards western fantasy and sci-fi. I'm picky with my weeb media.

Gaius gave the interrogator a nod, and looked over the group he was to lead. Two Guardsmen, the Commissar, and the Psyker. A formidable force, and level enough. None of them had any particular dislike of each other, that Gaius had noticed. After the group he was to lead prepared themselves, he gathered them together.

"Alright, Sergeant, You're on Vox duty. Corporal, grab those magnoculars. Commissar, it's an honour to have you with us. Stay close. Okay, everyone, let's move." As his unit departed, he looked back to Rayvius, "We'll wait for orders after we vox you. In case of an emergency, we'll head to the listening post. I'll update you soon." And with that, Gaius and the others departed, heading into the woods. A storm was brewing overhead, and it appeared as if it might rain. Gaius glared up at the seemingly bad omen, and turned his collar up in defiance of it.
Man, our retinue is going to have one helluva' warp-signature.
You're both wrong. Neither Gaius nor Igam mentioned deference to one's position. That was Rayvius, the interrogator. Just read the post. Also, even if it had been Gaius, he isn't a member of the Ecclesiarchy. He's an Arbitrator, to clarify.

EDIT: Also, Grothnor, would you mind throwing a PM my way with what to expect on our scouting excursion?

Our characters may, oddly enough, get along well.
I'd like to quote Jack sparrow and say "Human hair, from your own back." But you're a Techpriest, so I doubt your back would have much hair. Or skin, for that matter.

Our Harlequin friend is accepted, welcome to the retinue.

Grazzi
Name: Narr Nirien

Gender: Male

Race: Eldar

Affiliation: Harlequin

Age: When asked his age, Narr has responded with answers varying from "At least one of your lifetimes." to "You couldn't count high enough." In truth, he is somewhere around four centuries old.

Equipment:
-Anti-Grav "Flip" Belt: Used to perform dizzying acrobatic maneuvers on the battlefield. This augments Narr's already impressive acrobatic abilities, and paired with his speed and Holo-Field, makes him a swift moving blur on the battlefield.

Holo-Field generator: A sophisticated substitute for armour. When activated, whenever Narr moves, his image is shattered into a holographically-projected cloud of crystal shards that dance and swirl around with vigour proportional to the speed that the Harlequin is moving. This makes him extremely difficult to hit, and adds to the confusion he sows on the battlefield.

-Custom Storm Glove: Worn on the left hand, this weapon turns Narr's left hand into a bladed power weapon, with claws extending from each finger.

-Witchblade: Narr's witchblade is personalized in appearance, though unremarkable in ability. Like other Witchblades, it serves as a focus for his psychic energy.

-Psychic attacks: Most commonly in the form of streams of electricity or telekinetic throws and lifts. Though not technically equipment, these abilities are weapons in and of themselves.

Personality: Light-hearted, mischievious, and a bit sarcastic, Narr is a stark contrast to what you'd expect in an Eldar, the product of his role as a Harlequin Trouper. He is optimistic and happy-go-lucky, stemming from his faith in the Laughing God. Understandably, he is frequently seen as annoying by some of the Inquisitor's other allies, but this doesn't phase him at all. Occasionally, his light-hearted demeanor is broken by a streak of prophecy or the imparting of necessary wisdom.

History: Not much is known of Narr's history before he 'joined' the Inquisitor's group (more accurately, he shadowed them until he could prove himself useful.) What he has revealed is that helping the Inquisitor is of high importance to his people. He has stated before that the Inquisitor will prove an instrumental person in the fight against The Great Enemy, though, how he knows this, and how accurate this is, is a matter of speculation. Since his first meeting with the Inquisitor, however, he has been in near-constant contact with the group, leaving for a few solar days at a time, and showing back up, often just in time to join in on some action. In reality, he delivers updates to his Troupe Master, but he hasn't revealed this to the Inquisitor or his other allies for fear that they will grow suspicious, as humans are want to do.

Position in Retinue: Advisor, Liaison with the Eldar when the occasion calls for it (Narr has proven useful in stopping Eldar Corsairs from causing trouble for the Inquisitor on more than one occasion,) and of course, a close-quarters combat expert, as well as an experienced psyker.

I'll expand his history a bit if you want. Just wanted to get some stuff down.
So, to clarify, who is in?
I'd say Xenos, but I'm good for whatever.

I... didn't? She's making sure he's at least looking. If he doesn't turn around when she tries to get his attention, then he gets picked up--and he's explicitly ignored that attempt and is digging around, there's a way to avoid it. :/And I am not asking for permission to a character.

Fair enough. Just seemed like a weird way to write it out, with this hypothetical situation you had going, but It's your post, I guess.
