Yeah I got really thrown around by life once I moved and kinda dropped off the earth, sorry I never got the other one off the ground. Is this one brand new?

Alexis gave Cassandra a kiss on the forehead "You be good from Uncle Dami, Mommy needs to go be awesome." she said as her brother took the baby from her and sat down as Alexis walked down to get her band, or sticker rather. A fairly cheap one to from the feel of it, must not be meant to last the battle.

Ether way, she was please to get a ZAFT sticker rather then an EA sticker, still, the nature of the battle forced her hand though, and she'd rather not have had to use it just yet but a large scale battle like this, her reborn Exia would be better suited then her Viper.

"See ya later then" Alexis said as the pair left. "Should be interesting to see what they came up with, well, we'll see soon enough I guess." She said as she stood up. "I'm gonna take off to, go pick up my daughter, so my brother can sleep off the jet lag, and make a few final checks on my Gunpla before the battles start." Alexis gave Sakuya a wave as she to left.

"Getting here took longer then I would have liked, and I would have liked to have gotten here on my own, like so many of the great builders and battlers have, like you, Sei Iori and of course the Meijin did." Alexis said trading one rib for another with some meat still on it. "Oh well, what matters is I'm here now, and I accomplished a goal I'd have for awhile along the way."

"I to am curious has to your presence here. Not why you'd wanna be here, that's easy, Battling gets in your blood, and with one look at you, it's easy to tell you'd love nothing more then to hop in and join the fray your self. I just thought you'd be to busy to, ya know, show up in person."

"Besides having a kid? Not really. Dealt with a lack of inspiration for a while. Turns out it's actually kinda hard to make stuff up for a custom Gunpla, but once I found a groove I liked thing just started coming to me." She said, after cleaning the meat from a rib. "The two I've got here for this are pretty much my best work to date, and like I said earlier, you all have seen one of them. Was built back at the Labs but never had a chance to finish it till later, which is fine, I really like how it looks so a late finish just means It's better then it would have been if it had been finished at the Labs."

Alexis just parked her self at a table. She'd never really been one for these kinds of parties,and while it was neat to see a bunch of the major players in the Gunpla battle scene in one place, she'd rather battle them then drink with them. Besides, much as she loves and trusts her brother, she couldn't help but worry about him and Cassandra.

Still she took the opportunity to load up on ribs, worrying a little or not.

"Thanks, though, I feel like I should have claimed the title a lot sooner then I did. Still it's good to finally have that goal out of the way and in the books." she said to Sakuya before turning to Dani.

"Oh I doubt that. I'm not using the Barbatos I used to claim the US title here. I have two Gunpla just for this event, and even IF you remember the one. It was only 20% finished then, and the other you've never seen before." Alexis said with a grin. "and it is as you say, the time is closing fast where I'm going to have to put my Gunpla on the shelf for good and devote my self to rising my daughter. So I'll give both of you this one warning. I'll be going even harder then I used to from here on out, because for me, this really might be my last 'battle'"

"Unless you wanna try and get her back to sleep, keep it down" Alexis said, pushing the stroller up between the two. "Her name is Cassandra, and she's 10 months old, and she's a total angel, when she's asleep." she said with a mix of pride and levity.

Alexis was just sitting idly, watching the people around her, and her baby. At least until she saw a familiar wheel chair, and heard a pair of familiar voices. Well, that was a surprise, she didn't think that Dani would be here what with the work she'd heard about her doing for Nils Lab. She also thought she heard Sakuya, but didn't see her.

Still, it'd been a while since she seen Dani, and got up greet her. It was only after Alexis got closer did she realize the girl Dani was talking to was Sakuya. Which was kinda concerning given how burnt out Sakuya looked. "Sup treads" Alexis said as she got close to the pair, stroller in front of her as she approached, though the baby was still asleep. "Been awhile. Hey Sakuya, you ok? You look kinda torched."
