The delay in class start was to Cassandra's benefit. It gave her time to finish repairing her Barbatos, and give her Crossbone a better look over and give it a bit of a touch up. She also saw her mother off as Alexis needed to get back state side to get back to her shop. Alexis bid her daughter, Sakuya and Dani good bye for now, telling them to keep in touch via video chat or Email, there was some talk of having Alexis stay on, but it was short lived, Alexis really felt her place was in her own shop, teaching others what she knows and not be limited to those that had already proven them selves in some way or another, sighting the look on some of her students faces when they got their first win, or even seeing a kit they built come to life for the first time as a big part of the reason why she felt the way she does.

Cassandra sat in class, waiting for it start. She did watch as others came in and sat down, but really she was trying to think of away to upgrade her kit, Alexis having given her some advice before she left, but she still wasn't sure what to do past that she needed to do something.
"We still have the 'stick and peddle' cockpits actually.I actually first piloted a Mobile Suit with stick and peddles, granted, it was just a construction MS, and not one built for combat, but still." Sarah said as she floated near the cockpit entrance. "The Mobile Trace System is reserved for Gundams only so far as I've heard and seen, and the Gundam's them selves are custom built for the fighter that will be controlling it." she continued.

"And no. The Shining Gundam was not built for me. I'm not Japanese for one, I'm American, and this Gundam was built to represent Neo Japan in the preliminary's of the 13th Gundam Fight, I was just chosen to operate as it's test pilot while we repaired, and two, I am no where near the level of the Representative Fighters. If you thought my clumsy and uncoordinated motions where 'impressive', then you should see some of the pro's in action." Sarah floated into the cockpit area and grabbed her bag.

"Come on, I'll show you a few fights while we get something to eat."
Sarah waved back to Kanoko as she approached, though gave her a funny look when she asked about her moves, in relation to 'programing'. "There is no 'program', it's all 'pilot ability'." she said, giving a look to the two Captains a moment, seeing all seemed well, motioned Kanoko to follow her.

Sarah lead Kanoko over to her Gundam and popped the hatch, revealing, what was probably the strangest cockpit Kanoko had ever seen. "It's called the Mobile Trace system. In the simplest terms, it's a motion tracker, with almost zero 'input lag'." she explained. "It takes a certain level of physical training to use it effectively though, but when mastered, you can literally develop the reflexes dodge bullets, and beam rifles, and I mean 'you', alone, walking down the street to Burger King, could dodge a bullet, not 'you while piloting the Gundam'." Sarah stopped there, letting Kanoko process that little bit of information.
Cassandra

Cassandra didn't bat an eye at how the fight unfolded. She knew how Barbatos could get around a Mobile Armor having experienced it first hand what she found odd was every one elses reaction to it. Had they not seen a Gundam Frame in 'high gear' before? Did they not know how close the Gundam Frames really are to their anime counter parts, which in turn can make them a bit unruly.

Cassandra waited till Jess was back before speaking up. "You'll get used to it, the first few times are always rough, but just like the show, you'll get used to it." She said, continuing the repairs of her own Barbatos.

Alexis

"There's no real mystery Sakuya. It's a Gundam Frame, they tend react like that around Mobile Armors." Alexis said as she followed Sakuya, having heard her mutterings. "And if what Cassandra said is true, and I think it is given my own experience with Bael. They did 'to good a job' translating them from the show to the system. Cassandra has said a few times how she feels like there's 'something there' when piloting Rex. I have felt something similar with Bael, but not to the degree Cassandra has with Rex. So if I had to guess based on that. Barbatos didn't like being restrained, and ignored what you want in favor of what it wanted." Alexis added as she followed.

"Though if you want to fight." Alexis started, smirking "I guess we can show these kids what real battle looks like."
Sarah returned to the ship as well. The fighting was over and 'peaceful negotiation' seemed to be breaking out so she didn't seen a need to stay out there. Plus she wanted to get out of the fight suit, it was normally pretty comfortable despite how tight it was but that comfort had a shelf life and she could feel it expire.

After docking and removing the fight suit, which is just a command to dissolve it, she put her normal clothing back on, which she'd had in a bag secured in the cock pit, then exited the Gundam. As she exited she saw that Captain Read seemed to be waiting, likely for Liz. Given it would be rude to just ignore him, she floated over, with marginally more control then she had the first time she boarded Liz's ship. "Captain" she called as she got near, and settled near him. "Welcome aboard."
Cassandra

"Thanks" she replied as Justin got up for his turn. "Yeah, another few seconds and the fight would have been over, one way or another, But I'm sure I'd have won as well." She waited a minute or so to reply to Yumi's question though. "Something's screwy with the AI, that's what I think." She said as she watched the Hygoggs and then a Grand Zam fight the Xammel. Then when Kanoko's turn with the way the Loto's where acting. "Yeah, somethings defiantly screwy with the AI. Never seen it set up traps like that before. Or really use cover to hid it self." she said as Kanoko came back.

Alexis

"Sei huh? He still running a custom Strike?" she replied as the fight between the Xammel and the Hygoggs/Grand Zam started. Though the mention of 'former champion data' having been an option on the table, got the strangest reaction from her. "I'd rather you didn't use mine, or rather, not use my data in regards to my Exia. Use the Viper if you want to have some one get mauled by 'me'." She said, watching one fight end and the next begin. "Or I can give you fresh data with Bael. Ether way, I'm forbidding the use of my Exia." she said, the last line carrying almost the same edge to the tone as Sakuya had used when she'd taken a jab at her AI.
Sarah smirked and shrugged. "People tend to be more willing to talk when you put forth an air of civility, rather then one of hostility. Especially when your trying to defuse a tense situation." She said, though the latter part was really aimed at her alleged 'squad'.

"You are correct on that Captain Read, we have most certain 'left Kansas'." Sarah took a moment, mostly stock of what her side was doing. "Normally I would push to get a face to face meeting, however since trust seems in short supply, and any such meeting would be taking place one ship or another, I have my doubts as to the wisdom of such a meeting." Shining Gundam mimicking Sarah, and her hand motions and general body language as she spoke.

"I trust we can continue over the coms for the time being. Not just in coming to a suitable agreement in regards to compensation for the attack, I also feel there is other matters of import that should be discussed." Sarah continued, effectively saying with out saying 'I know somethings up as well, and we should being talking not fighting each-other.' She then waited for the captains reply while hoping no one on her side did anything stupid.
'I'm surrounded by trigger happy idiots ...' Sarah thought. All the strange Gundams, Mobile Suits, and ships, not to mention being in space. It all, finally started to sink in. 'We shouldn't be picking fights right now.' she thought, forcing her self to stay calm. Not so much because of the Pirate ship, but for her own sake, freaking out right now would not be good for anyone here.

She looked back at the freighter she was just on, sure, it was durable and well armed, but it lacked man power, and likely the resources to maintain any MS past the Captains suit, let alone hers, the Reaper or that rather plain looking Gundam that had docked with it, or this new Neo Japan MP type that just showed up. To say nothing of food and other supply, which she doubted would be able to support the lot of them for long if the Captain was the only one on board.

More over, she didn't like the sound of this 'Jupiter Empire'. 'That feeling' in her gut was telling her it they where bad news. Where as this Captain wasn't setting off any warning flags for her. "That's all well and good Mr Pirate, but that hardly changes the fact you yet to give us your name." Sarah said, intentionally pausing. "Or perhaps your keeping that to your self since no one seems to have been given the proper upbringing to introduce them selves." She said as she deactivated her Beam Saber and returned them to the 'sheath' on her Gundams hip. "I. am Sarah Brandford, current operator of the GF13-017NJ Shining Gundam, now, Mr Pirate Captain, may I have your name, so that we can truly begin with this Parlay."

Alexis

Alexis watched the fight between at first, the Pluma and then a supped up Zeong and the Providence Gundam. The Girl piloting the Gundam, in Alexis's mind did an admirable job against the Zeong, but felt she would have done better had she been more aggressive. At least until Sakuya asked her what she thought of 'her baby', which she figured meant the AI Sakuya had been talking about earlier, this cause Alexis to reassess the pilot of the Provenience a bit more favorably for having to deal with a 'reactive AI' that was learning as the fight went on.

"So the Pluma and Zeong was running on that AI of yours?" Alexis said. "I'll get back to you on that, after I've seen more of it."

Cassandra

Cassandra watched the battle unfold, taking note of the Pluma. The Zeong was interesting as well. Yumi fought well, enough so that when Yumi returned to the table, she stopped working on the repairs to Rex and grabbed her Full Cloth and headed toward the Battle System.

Alexis

Alexis watched as Cassandra made her way to the Battle System. "Well, I guess we'll get to see who's 'baby' is tougher" Alexis snarked, as Cassandra placed her GP Base and Gunpla and got ready to battle.

Cassandra

"GUNPLA BATTLE, COMBAT MODE, START UP! MODEL LEVEL DAMAGE SET TO C. PLEASE SET YOUR GP BASE"
"BEGINNING PLAVSKY PARTICLE DISPERSAL"
"FIELD 10 - CAVERN"
"PLEASE SET YOUR GUNPLA"
"BATTLE START"

Cassandra set the Full Cloth and GP base in their respective places and wordless launched into the battle field, flying for a few moments before stopping and just hovering, waiting for something to show up.

Slowly circular discs crept up the surface of the large geometric shapes that formed the the closed cavern they were in the spinning of the circular saws slowed down so the noise they were making to a minimum

For a brief moment, the sensors lit up with several contacts, then quickly went silent again. Which told her, ether stealth units, which is highly unlikely since almost all stealth MS where some kind of special build, and with the last fight to go off of she was pretty sure she'd be dealing with something like a Pluma. Which meant what ever she was dealing with was using the terrain to hide them selves. 'I frigen hate fights like this ..' she thought to her self as she scanned around. her first instinct was to simply start blasting with the Peacock Smasher, and remove anywhere to hide, but she also knew this field, or rather one like it. Careless blasting like that could bring the whole cave down on top of her, and she doubted she could just blow a hole in the roof and force a change of field, though she didn't rule that out completely as an option. For now though, she held the Muramasa Blaster in 'gun' mode, lit the Beam Zanber, and took aim at a near by rock where she'd confirmed a contact. Even if it wasn't there, doing nothing wasn't getting her anywhere.

They slowly crept up using the formations to their advantage from all directions singally converging onto the fullcloth's location. They kept up a slow and steady pace as more and more crawled out of nowhere like their namesakes they were multiplying at a alarming rate. Before long few of them lept up their circular saws spinning at full speed firing the laser torches at the suit.

Cassandra activated the Full Cloths I-Field and let the beam weapons just bend around her suit as she proceeded to light up every enemy, something called a 'Bug' she saw with the Muramasa Blaster, Machine Vulcans and Machine Cannons, cutting down the odd one with the Beam Zanber that lunged at her to get through the I-Field. For a moment anyway, it be came very clear, very quickly that just sitting there was not going to do her any good. So as she fired on the Bugs she moved away from where she was, while looking for some place she could lure them, a bottle neck of some kind so she could wipe them all out at once.

Though she flew off it did little as the numbers were to great to really get safe area. As some flew up from underground landing solid hits on the back of the suit with the circular saws along their bodies before falling down. It continued like this for awhile bugs jumping up and attacking before falling back down again sometimes landing hits sometimes not. Though it was clear the suit needed to to think fast as at this rate they would quickly overun her with their sheer numbers

"Fine then ... Plan B" She said to her self, rolling again to throw another bug off, and using this roll to hide the fact she was changing from the Muramasa Blaster to the Peacock Smasher. She fended the Bugs off just long enough for the Peacock Smasher to get to full power. "Hate Bugs" She said before pointing one of the single most power guns in the Gundam cannon at the celling and fired it's full fury into it. With the hope of blowing a hole in it to both destroy the Bugs, and get away from them.

"FIELD CHANGE"

Was announced as the scene changed briefly as the rocks caved in by the nine shots from the peacock smasher damaging all the suits in the process and getting rid of a large amount of bugs in the process. Leaving behind a ruined cave but also revealing a large body of water that was previously hidden by the walls of the cavern. Still as the bugs was destroyed the child bugs was released each of them leaping over the remaining bugs and landing and sticking onto the crossbones left leg before trying to detonate.

Cassandra, naturally, kicked at, and tried kicking away the smaller Bugs, as well as shooting at them before they got close enough for her to need to kick at them, only slashing at them with the Beam Zanber, even going so far as to 'tactically purge' the heavly damaged 'metal cloak' and the damaged left skull/I-Field generator, letting that explode and take out a few more, while moving away from what was left of the Bugs.

While the kicking managed to get a few of the child bugs off some managed to stay and detonated lightly damaging the left leg. Though as the cloak was falling a large mega particle beam tore into the sky from the water damaging the bugs from the blast as it was headed straight for the crossbone

Cassandra, very quickly rerouted as much power as she could to the single I-Field generator, leaving only enough power to stay air born and as a back up plan, light up both Beam Markers in 'shield mode' to further bolster her defenses incase the single I-Field generator wasn't enough.

The large mega particle beam punched into the suit a large amount getting diverted by the shields and the I Field breaking through the shields before it stopped. As the beam died down a gleaming red dome surfaced from the water before it revealed a long stretching neck and multiple bits was released. Slowly the shamblo surfaced revealing itself in all its glory as it slowly crawled onto the ground and out of the water. As it did so two smaller beams shot out at a wide angle quickly closing on the suit. Though it was not done as the two beams was closing one of the arms reached out to try and grab the suit as wel hoping to drag it down onto its level.

Cassandra cursed under her breath as the Shamblo revealed it self and continued its assault on her damaged suit. With two beams baring down on her, and the claw reaching up for her. Cassandra choose to dive at the Claw, with the full intent of cleaving it from the Mobile Armor with the Beam Zanber, figuring is she had any chance of winning at all she would need to limit the Mobile Armors options, make it rely on a weapon she could avoid and cripple before she moved in for the kill.

As the crossbone started its dive the reflector bits opened up creating a large barrier protecting the shamblo as it started to charge up its mega particle beam

Cassandra cast the Beam Zanber aside "lets play chicken then" she grinned, swapping the Peacock Smasher to her right hand, using the left to put up the shield, gambling on the shield holding long enough for the Peacock Smasher to do its job, and she waited only until the barrier started to move to once more unleash the full fury on the weapon on her target.
As the reflector bits let down and the Shamblo released its mega particle beam a announcement stopped everything quickly putting the game of chicken on hold "OVER THE TIME LIMIT" was said as the plavsky particles started to lower causing the crossbone to lightly fall onto the stage.

Cassandra sighed, and was frowning slightly as she collected her Gunpla. She REALLY hated timers on battles, much like her mother. Just like Yumi, she was met by a member of the staff, and handed a slip of paper, then was told to turn it in after the exam. From there she made her way back to her table and sat down. "If I'd had a few more seconds, I'd have won." she mused to her self, as she started inspecting the Crossbone to see how much attention it would need.

Alexis

Alexis watch Cassandra's battle more closely the she'd watched the prior fight, you could tell from the look in her eyes, and then annoyance as the fight ended due to the time limit. Again. "A few more seconds and it'd have been over regardless ... yesh, stupid timers ruining things." she said as Cassandra walked back to her table, clearly of the mind set her daughter would have come out on top in the end. "Though, take that little display as a bit of a warning, you'll still be having to deal with 'my crazy', so have fun with that." Alexis snarked patting both Sakuya and Dani on the shoulders. "Still, so far, I'm not impressed. I'm sure it's set nice and low due to these fight being entrance exams, but Mobile Armors and the Gundam equivalent of low level trash mobs? Not exactly flattering for a first impression. I wanna see it in control of a Mobile Suit, cause I know you wouldn't so proud of your AI with those kinda of performances."
Cassandra

Cassandra had started tearing down her Lupus Rex to see was salvageable when the announcement about the start of the exam came over the PA system and Yumi's Providence landing started being displayed. She re-positioned her seat and how she was sitting so she could watch the screen and keep working on the Barbatos.

Alexis

Alexis nodded and fallowed Sakuya and Dani into the guest lounge and took a seat, and watched as one of the potential students, piloting a Providence flew into the the battle arena and landed, and waited for the test to start.
