Lilly: ... Magio, just go to where you're supposed to.

Alice: (What?)

Magio: What? Why am I being dismissed?

Lilly: It's... for the best. So, please, if you could.

Alice: W-Wait just a second!

Kana: Mr. Magio, what should we do?
Lucifer: Pal...?

Magio: ... I understand. C'mon, you two. To the Dream Town.

Lilly: We'll follow you later.

Magio nodded and left with Kana and Lucifer to the Dream Town, where they would do the meeting. He still looked back, worried, but kept going. When they were finally out of sight, Lilly got near Kokoro to wake her up.


Lilly: Hey, sleepyhead. Wake up.

Kokoro: Unnngh... what... the...

Reimu: Oh, thank goodness.

Kokoro: Everyone... what's going on...

Lilly: Are you alright? Does it still hurt?
Kokoro: I'm OK. Don't worry about me.

After that, Kokoro saw Uni, looking at her, with a guilty face.


Kokoro: Uni! *hugs Uni* Thank goodness you're OK! I thought I wouldn't be able to jump in time!

Alice: Wow, how wonderful this moment is, but can we get to the main subject now?

Lilly: ... Fael, I don't know if you'll forgive me for this or not. But even so, I want you to, at least, forgive Reimu and Kokoro. As for me...

Reimu: Lilly...

Alice: Well then, now that we are all here, we can hear you admit that you ambushed me alongside Reimu and that sniper girl.

Alice: Are you stupid?! You're the ones who attacked me first!

Upon hearing that, Kokoro let go of Uni and walked near Lilly and Reimu.


Kokoro: Oh...? We attacked you first?

Alice: Wasn't it obvious? I'm the victim here.

Kokoro: Then how do you explain this? *takes out exploded doll from shirt*

Alice: (Gh...!!)

Reimu: Why, look what we have here. A doll and it seems burnt. It looks like it was exploded.
Lilly: So? How will you explain that? Will you say that we planted that doll inside her? Or that we bribed Magio, that has the same ability as yours, to put a doll on her while she was unconscious, knowing fully well that he would never do something like that?

Alice: (D-Damn it... I never expected the menreiki to have-)

Lilly: Answer me, Alice Margatroid! If you're innocent about this, then who blew Kokoro up?!

Necrox walked towards Hugh, Karina and the stranger Garrod.


Necrox: Did someone ever told you guys that you suck when it comes to flying? Seriously, this wasn't even worth a paid lunch...

Necrox: *looks at Garrod* Hmmm...? Never saw you around. And those clothes... are you one of those Mobile Suit riders?

Magio, Lucifer and Kana started to head to the Dream Town entrance while conversating. Magio was finally able to learn somethings about the mysterious girl that appeared right in front of them.


Magio: So, you're not a human, but a poltergeist.

Kana: Yes, that is exactly what I am.

Magio: And you used to haunt a Western-like mansion, but the owner was getting used to that and started ignoring you.

Kana: Yes...

Magio: Then, you moved to the Hakurei Shrine. But since Reimu is Reimu, you left.

Kana: *sniff*... More and more, I begin to be more useless...

Magio: Kana...
Lucifer: H-Hey, no crying. C'mon, you're not alone anymore. We're friends, right?

Kana: We are... friends?

Magio: Why not? You seem like a good girl.

Kana: Mr. Magio...!
Lucifer: Besides, the people who ignored you were such jerks. I mean, how can they ignore you like that? That's so wrong and it pisses me off...

Kana: Mr. Summon Spirit...
Lucifer: It's Lucifer. And don't cry, please. I'm allergic to people that cry.

Magio: See? You're not alone. Whenever you need to talk, just speak with me, OK?

Kana: Y-Yes!

Then, suddenly, two flashes passed by them and crashed at a wall. When they looked, those flashes were Lilly and Reimu.


Magio: ...

Kana: ...
Lucifer: ...

Lilly: I won!!

Reimu: No, I won!!

Lilly: Obviously not!! I got here first!!

Reimu: Are you blind?! I was the one who hit the wall first!!

Lilly: No, it was definitely ME who hit the wall first!!

Reimu: That can't be right!! It just can't be!!

The two kept arguing over who reached there first, ignoring everything around them.

Lucifer: Since when crashing into a wall defines a victor?

Magio: Go ask them.

After a hard time flying around, Agni maintained his balance and managed to reach Anna and Necrox, who waited in the town's entrance.


Agni: *lands* Whoo, did it.

Anna: Look at all those buildings...

Necrox: The town's pretty big and beautiful. The tour might be really enjoyable.

Anna: Oh, can we start? Can we start?

Agni: Someone seems excited.

Necrox: ... Hey, Agni. Go with her.

Agni: W-Wait, what?! But I don't even know where to-

Anna: Can we go? Please? Please?!

Agni: ... Fine, fine. I can't resist.

Anna: Yaaaay!! OK, let us go!!

Agni: Wait!

Anna held Agni's hand tightly and pulled him tfurther towards to town. Necrox decided to wait for Hugh and Karina before entering.

Alice: Well, that's fine for me. Let's go. We're leaving them waiting too much.

Alice took flight, but this time, flew at a calm speed.

Alice spoke while getting up. She had thought about putting everyone against Lilly, so she wouldn't be able to comment anything about it to Magio.


Alice: Being ambushed by her, Reimu and this girl was something that I didn't expected. Since the three were able to home their attacks, obviously I wasn't able to escape and was hit point blank. Gladly, you came just in time.

Alice: Now, shall we get going? We can hear the story directly from her.

Magio: Hmmm? There's someone here.
Lucifer: Where?! Where is it?! I'm gonna smash it into pieces once I find the jerk who-

Reimu: Alright, she's down.

Lilly: Let's keep it up before she awakens. And also...

Reimu: What?

Lilly: See you at the castle!! *uses wind to blast off*

Reimu: Ha! You think you can beat me? *goes even more faster*

Dream Realm: Dream Depot/Throne Room

Magio, after talking, dismissed all the guards. After they all left, Lucifer came out of his ring as Magio opened the roof of his room.


Magio: I wonder how it is to be dreaming. You know, to drift away into a happy wish you have.
Lucifer: Oh yeah. You can't dream, right?

Magio: I don't know why, but... I do wish I could dream at least once.
Lucifer: It's really fun! You think about something good and then it happens like a dream!

Magio: Is it really just like that? I mean, dreams don't happen all the nights and I now that for a fact.
Lucifer: Well, I don't understand it myself, so it's just a guess.

Magio: Hmm...

Then, he looked once again at the white sky of the Realm.


Magio: I wonder if everyone is OK.
Lucifer: Pal, they must be coming here. Didn't you all agree to do this reunion?

Magio: I know we did, but I can't help myself but feeling worried.
Lucifer: Man, you'll grow old soon.

Magio: Shut up! Like if you knew what is to be old!
Lucifer: Don't ya scream at me, you big doofus!

Magio: *sigh*... I won't discuss with you.

A great amount of time has passed since the time they fought. Lynda had reforced her security, while Pamela was throughly dismissed since she left Cruz alone. Agni waited for Cerberus to come while he thought about his conversation with Lyn.

Reminiscence

"Ugh, what happened? I remember being at his room and..."
"I brought you back to your room."
"You're...!!"

Lynda walked towards the door. Then, she turned back to Agni, who was laying on his bed.

"Hey, answer me something."
"..."
"About your hatred... what makes you 100% certain that it was Cruz that killed your mom? Just because she said his surname?"
"... Why do you even care? It's my problem, so stay out of it."
"I'm just saying. After all, you didn't even heard from him yet."
"Why should I even listen? All that he speaks are lies!"
"Any proof that he's really lying?"
"Tch..."
"Baseless hatred is equal to nothing. If you want to confirm, why don't you confront him? Without violence."
"..."
"Most of the people that know him are 100% sure that he would never do something like that. They even said that he didn't even fought them before since he was scared of people most of the time."
"... So, in synthesis, I should simply talk. Is that what you're saying for me to do?"
"... Do your own conclusions after what we spoke now. I'm leaving, 'cuz I got more things to do."

Then, the door to the rooftop opened. And from it, Cruz came with the help of Cerberus. "...", he stood silent as he looked. "As you asked... I came...", he said, breathing hard. Agni sat on one stone bench, while Cerberus put Cruz in the other and returned to his master's side.

"My mother died by an attack of a magician. When I found her on the forest near the city we lived, she was at the last of her strength. The last thing she said... was Meister... which relates to you and to your race., he said, while looking down. "I still hold firm to my belief that it was you who killed my mother back in the past. But since everyone believes you that much, I decided to hear your part of this story. Upon hearing it, I will make my own conclusion of what you truly are. Innocent or guilty.", he said. Cruz looked down at a moment. "Your mother. Her name was Rosangela Blackheart, right?", he asked. Agni, surprised that he remembered, nodded. "I remember her. Now I do. After all, she saved me in the past.", he said. "I was in a forest, collecting some stuff that the more experts of my people asked me. Then, a group of magicians saw me and chased me through the forest. I ran for a while, but I eventually tripped and fell. I would have been able to run, but I twisted my ankle.", he kept telling his story to Agni. "And then your mother appeared. I remember her wearing a black ad white dress while holding her umbrella and wearing a deviant smile. She just swinged it once and then a big flood drove the other magicians away. After that, she came to me and helped me getting up. I told her I was a technomagician and pleaded for her to spare my life. She just smiled and said that she wouldn't kill me... yet", he spoke. "So... my mother... she saved you...", Agni spoke. "When she saved me, I remembered that she spoke about you and your little sister. She said that she would like that I met both of you, but I had to decline, since I was on a hurry. Then, she said something like this: 'When my boy grows up, I'll tell him to meet you. You won't escape the fate of being his friend. Think about as a way of repaying for my work.' And then she left.", he finished. Agni looked even more down to the ground. "So... when my mother said about you... she meant... for me to meet you?", he said, with his voice shaking. "I'm really sorry that she was killed. It's true, I really am.", Cruz said, worried. "Does... that mean... I was wrong? Killing you... is not what I should have done? And that... you didn't killed my mother?!", he spoke loudly. "I would never kill your mother, of that I'm sure. She was so kind to me.", he said.

"Cruz... I... I'm sorry... I never meant to...", he said, while tears slightly fell from his eyes. Agni felt the guiltness hitting him pretty badly. He wasn't sure of anything anymore. "A-Agni, you don't have to say you're sorry. Come on, I'm not mad at you.", Cruz said. "B-But... but... I almost killed you. How can you not be mad at me?", he asked. "You had a reason to suspect me. I was the one who should have spoken with you before any of this could happen. So part of our misunderstandings are my fault too.", he said. "You... what everyone said was right... It's impossible for someone like you to kill someone. But... you must hate me, don't you...?", Agni asked once again. "No, I don't.", Cruz answered.

Agni got up after hearing that. "What? You don't hate me?", he questioned. Cruz got up a little slower than Agni did and walked towards him. "What would we win if I started hating you all of a sudden? Just more fights. And being honest with you, I'm kinda tired of fighting because of hatred and revenge.", Cruz spoke. "Besides, not just because I own my part of the deal with your mother, but I want to know more about you. You know, you're so closed and quiet and all the depressing stuff that I want to know the Agni you're currently hiding.", he said and smiled a little. Agni dried up the tears that were still falling. "Do you really... want to be my friend?", Agni asked. "Of course. I mean, for me, the more friends I have, the merrier.", Cruz said.

After that, Agni looked at the sky. Mom... is this what you wanted for me to do?... No, I'm definitely sure that you wanted this., he said, finally letting up a smile. "My master...?", Cerberus finally spoke. Agni shaked his head and spoke, more light-heartened than ever before. "Let's take Cruz back to his room. If we don't, that girl is surely going to beat us up.", he spoke, in a tone different than his usual. "Wow, you're sounding different than before... *cough*", Cruz spoke, while shaking a little. "S-Sir Cruz, are you alright?", Cerberus asked. "Y-Yeah... I think...", he said. "Then let's go.", Agni said, walking towards the door. As Cerberus helped Cruz once again, Agni looked at the sky once more. Mother... if you're watching me, I'll be a better person this time., he thought and left.

"Nice to meet both of you.", he said. Then, he started to think. "That guy flew and hit a barrier in the sky. It doesn't seem we can get out the easy way.", Sumireko spoke. Magio still kept thinking. "If a barrier was put, then that means we're not here by accident. Someone brought us here, for whatever the reason, and doesn't want us out.", he said. Sumireko, upon hearing those words, started to consider that to be the most plausible explanation for this. At least, in the current moment. There were still many questions and they needed answers. That's when Magio walked towards the forest.

"H-Hey, where are you going?", Sumireko asked. "I'm going to see if there's anything in this place. If I, at least, can find a village, a town, or somewhere for us to rest, that's good enough.", Magio spoke, walking towards the trees. He looked back at them and smiled. "I'm going to send a signal if I find something. And, just in case, I'll leave a specific trail.", he spoke. Then, without further ado, Magio snapped his fingers and disappeared in an instant. Sumireko flied to where he saw to see if he wasn't playing any trick on them. "H-He's really gone. D-Do you think he said that and just left us behind?", she asked to Mira. When she looked back at the forest, an orb of light appeared, and under it, there he was, waving at them. With another snap, he disappeared again. He wasn't lying, thank the gods..., she said.

Magio walked forward a little and saw the commotion all around Lex. Well, it had to be obvious, since he's the most equipped person in the current situation. Then, he moved towards Sumireko and Mira. "So, how did you ended up here?", he asked. "Well, a portal opened near me, I crossed it and ended up here.", she said. "Hmm... I see. Maybe this is another Dimension Distortion I haven't fixed yet?", he asked himself. Sumireko wondered on what he meant by Dimension Distortion. "Oh, sorry, I didn't asked you name. How stupid of me.", he said, sounding happy.

"My name is Sumireko Usami, president of the Sealing Club, responsible of revealing the occult!", she boasted. "Sealing Club? Usami? If that's so, then you're...", he thought even more about that. Sumireko kept looing at him and truly created a vision that he was a mysterious person indeed. "... No, forget it. I'm Magio Toadstool, an Ultima Knight.", he said simply. "And you are?", he asked Mira.

As Sumireko thought more on it, a portal opened not too far from her. From it, a white flash passed by her and Mira, and giving a powerful burst of wind. When it stopped, not too far from Lex and the rest, the flash revealed itself to be Magio, the Ultima Knight, doing his usual dimension travelling. "Hmm... I think this isn't the place I'm supposed to be.", he spoke. He fixed his red scarf and looked back. There are more people. So I guess I'm not the only one lost., he thought.

"W-Whoa, I wasn't clearly expecting that!", Sumireko said. She was surprised of how he appeared out of nowhere.

Lilly: Whoa!! *evades a laser*

Alice: Don't think that I didn't saw you.

Lilly: Alice...

Alice: I played a good part accepting Fael's terms, but since he's not here now...

BGM: Battlefield of Hanahazama


Alice: I'll end you three here.

Reimu: Lilly?

Lilly: Racing and danmaku, huh. I'll take it!

Kokoro: ... Got it. Let's go, Reimu!

Reimu: (I noticed that things always get crazy when we're around.) ((Oh, you don't saaay?))

Alice: Time for the blow. Take this!! Red Sign "Doll Mira Ceti"!!

Alice handed out dolls that shot red bubble danmaku at Lilly, Reimu and Kokoro


Lilly: Wind Arrow "Mistral Line"!!

Reimu: Holy Relic "Yin-Yang Demon God Orb"!!

While Reimu shot an enormous blue Yin-Yang orb at Alice, Lilly shot a single green arrow. And while Alice managed to evade the orb, the arrow had hit her, and a single green line formed into her direction. A gust of wind took her to the other way around, while damaging her with ravaging slashes.


Kokoro: Yahoo!! Let's keep it up!

Lilly: Don't get cocky! She's not over yet!

From behind them, red lasers were shot at many directions. Alice had just gotten up and was already back at the offensive.


Alice: Ashigaru "Suicide Squad"!!

Charged dolls were sent towards the girls. Once near them, they started to explode. In the distance, Reimu saw a building.


Reimu: Is that it?! The Dream Castle!!

Lilly: We're getting close to it!! Don't lose your speed!!

As they moved, Kokoro noticed that Alice sent 4 dolls towards Uni. She changed her direction and dived into her.


Kokoro: Look out!! *bumps Uni*

The 4 dolls, upon contact, exploded all at once. The smoke passed by and Kokoro fell.


Reimu: Kokoro!!

Alice: Passing through!!

Alice boosted through Reimu, which stopped flying and turned back. In the end, there was only Alice and Lilly.


Lilly: Why you...!!

Alice: It's time we ended this!!

Lilly: Then let's finish this!!
