They shook their heads in affirmation. But at that moment, Schirach dashed once again to Lilly's direction. Anna tried to stop her, but a single swing and she was sent flying.


Anna: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!

Agni: Anna!!

Agni got her before she could hit a tree. As he did that, Schirach grabbed Lilly by her neck again.


Lilly: ....!!

Schirach: You would have been such a great help, but you're so persistent. A weak girl who does nothing but to shoot some magic at a close distance to be safe would never beat me.

With a brute swing, Schirach sent the weakened Lilly away and removed a giant boulder from the ground.


Schirach: Farewell, Lilly Toadstool! *throws the boulder*

Lilly: Ah...!!

With no energy to run or even shoot, Lilly was hit point blank by the boulder. Upon that pile of rubble, she seemed to have fallen unconscious.


Magio: No!!

Necrox: Damnit!!

Schirach: What an easy target. She was not even a challenge.

Magio: You... I'll kill you!!

Schirach: You can try, but how much you will succeed?

She got into position and Magio did as well. They were ready to rush into each other. When then...

*heart beat*


Lilly: (Is this... it? Am I... really going to lose...)

Lilly: (No... no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no... no no no no no no no no no no no no no nonononononononononoNONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!)

Before Schirach could even rush to them, something grabbed onto her feet and she wasn't able to move.


Schirach: What the... vines and roots?!
Lilly?: Getting really ahead of yourself, right?

Lilly got up and cleaned her dress. Then, she looked at Schirach.

Schirach: What the... but how...?

Anna: Princess!

Lilly?: Heh...

Agni: She seems fine at the very least.

Necrox: Wait... she sounded different...

Magio: I heard it too. That must mean...

BGM: Dark Road

The smile in her face didn't looked innocent. It had a malice, a desire to kill no one would imagine that she had. That was the part of Lilly born from her Link: a girl that wanted nothing but to see the blood of her enemies at the ground.


Magio and Necrox: Schirach, run!!

But it was too late. The vines dropped her to the ground and held her arms and legs so she wouldn't move. With a malevolent grin, Lilly called some vines and used her metal elemental to make them look like spikes.

Schirach: What the... what are you...
Lilly?: Hehehehehe... die...

At the signal she gave, the vines started to pierce the entirety of Schirach. They began slow, but eventually began to attack at a faster speed.


Anna: P-Princess?! W-What did happen to her?!

Magio: She must have gone insane. The thought of losing led her to her sadist side, the one born from her Link...

Agni: But naturally a sadist would only want pain! Lilly's going to kill Schirach at that rate!

Necrox: That's the problem! The youkai which Lilly decided to make a Link with has a much more violent concept of sadism!

Magnum: H-How much violent?!

Necrox: We're talking about Gensokyo! It doesn't take a genius to know it isn't normal!

It was clear that Schirach was already not taking it anymore. A pond of blood was forming under her as the spikes kept piercing her nonstop. Lilly kept smiling as Magio talked to her.


Magio: Lilly... Lilly, that's enough! It's over already!

Lilly?: Oh, please. What are you saying? It's not over yet. She's not that filled with holes.

Necrox: We're here to defeat her, not to murder her! Stop this bullshit right now, bitch!
Lilly?: No, no, no. It's not enough yet. It's not enough...

And then, with a gracious movement from her hand, all spikes pierced Schirach's heart at once.

Schirach: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!

Lilly?: Ah, the scream of a person feeling this pain... how wonderful...

Anna: P-Princess, please stop!!

Lilly?: Stop? Why would I stop...? Do you even have any reason?

Kula heard the scream from behind and saw Agatha back at the island. And then, he noticed that some strange-looking things were destroying his ice from behind and that they were coming at his direction. They were shaped like sharks, but what were those beings? It is best if I return to the island. And by the looks of it, I will have some explanation to do once I arrive., he thought. He spread more nitrogen in the water, making a curve for him to return back to where he started. He slid fast in order to escape from this unknown threat that seemed to be closing on him. Once he reached the island, he did a spin jump and landed perfectly on the ground. The ice he created no longer existed.

"It is as they say: the sea only looks calm. I do wonder if there are more of those things in the way to the ruins- I mean, city.", he spoke. Then, he turned to the person who had appeared only now. He hadn't seen her before (at the very least) if she was already there. "First of all, I want to thank you for the warning. I could have probably been eaten by those... beings if I had not heard your scream. My name is Kula Alexandrite. And yours?", he said. At that time, he quickly put his glove back and extended his hand, so that she wouldn't be able to see it until he explained it to her.

The wind abruptly passed through. It blew strongly, like if it said "Wake up!" for those who slept. At least, it gave that sense to the young fo that finally woke up. "Flanoir's experimental tests always have some kind of error. It is interesting that he created a space travelling machine, but...", he said, while getting up. All that his eye could see was a city fulfilled with skyscrapers. Yet, instead of a beautiful metropolis, it looked like a gigantic ruin to his eye. Maybe it's because everything never seemed like that to him, back at his world. When he looked a little more, it became clear he was at the hand of a statue. The Liberty Statue, as he oftenly read on his books back at the castle. His exact position: he was at the book the statue held. How did I ended up here? And this is not a safe position. If it was the torch, it could be different, but..., he thought. Of course, he found a way. "I hope those who built this statue forgive me for this. Zero Skate!", he spoke to himself.

Two pair of ice blades formed under his shoes. Taking a risk he never took before, the statue turned on a ramp for him to go down. The speed was immense, like gravity was thoroughly pulling him down. Maintaining his balance and keeping a considerable speed, he jumped and percetly landed on the ground. The view of the city was different from below, but it didn't changed his vision of a ruin. I have to investigate this place before anything. But first, I need to get out of here and go to the island where the city lies. And as far as I can see, there is only one way to do it., he thought while looking at the sea. Removing his glove, nothing seemed to appear. The nitrogen was like a dust, floating in the air. Only with close inspection one could say that it looked like a hand. The fox threw some it at the water, instantly freezing the part where the dust fell. Two risks in one single situation. This is not the sign of a good start. It is better if I become cautious with my actions., he thought. A child slipping through unnatural ice that appeared into the water.

That's how Kula's adventure finally began...

Chaos Butterfly of Death

Name: Kula Alexandrite
Age: 15
Species: Chaos Sprite
Gender: Male
Personality: Natural from being a royalty, Kula is rather refined and speaks in a manner without much abreviations and vulgar language. However, he isn't picky about people, tending to be really receptive towards anyone. He treats everyone equally and prefers to be treated like eveyone else instead of having a specific treatment because os his position. Kula puts others in front of himself, but prefers to proceed with caution instead of simply rushing in danger. He has a little of despise towards himself because of his own powers, trying the most to hide that from others. He isn't the type of person to share his own feelings, since he believes that no one should be involved on his matters.
Bio: Kula is a Chaos Sprite, a creature made by the spirits of the 7 Chaos Emeralds and the Master Emerald to be observer of the world. He was created with the intention of being a weapon the Emeralds would use if the world needed any judgement, beind called as the Chaos Butterfly of Death. There is a second Sprite, but they were separated and teleported to different places.

Kula was teleported to Mobius, where he was found by the actual King and Queen. Feeling a special power within him, they took him as their children. Kula never knew he had any power on his childhood. One day, however, the kingdom and the castle were attacked and there weren't many survivors. No one, except for Kula. Whn he was going to be attacked, his powers unconsciously were used and he froze himself and and the invaders. He stood like that for at least 4 years.

Once the ice broke, Kula woke up and was immediately kidnapped by Dr. Eggman, who was turning animals into robots and decided to make of Kula a powerful one. Taken to the Scrap Brain Zone, where Eggman's base was, Kula was submitted to many experiments to become a robot. However, Eggman increased the output so highly that the powers inside the fo were all messed up. His hands matter became pure nitrogen, freezing everything he could touch. As a matter of caution, Eggman himself made a pair of gloves that would stop his hands and locked him up for future experiments. It was then that Sonic the Hedgehog defeated Dr. Eggman and rescued Kula before Scrap Brain's fall.

Kula decided to rebuild his kingdom and became the prince of Mobius. As time progressed, Kula met Sula Sapphire, from the Ye Olde Villa, a small town on the outskirts of Mobius. The two of them became rivals, since Sula accused Kula of abandoning those in need. During one of their fights, they were both defeated by the Commander, the Chancellor and the Inventor, who betrayed the royal family to take the town. The two fought against them and won and now live together in the castle.
Abilities: Kula is able to manipulate ice and darkness, as a result of the awakening of his powers. However, his use to them is rather defensive as he rarely uses them for any offensive manuevers. Due to that, he adept himself to fencing, which allows him to defend himself. His weapon is called Crystal Reverie, a rapier his late father used.
Cryokinesis

• Frigid Existence (Support): Envelops himself in an icy aura, slightly reducing damage received.
• Zero Skate (Support): Creates ice undes his shoes, enabling an improval into movement.
• Arctic Infusion (Support): Gives ice element to his or any ally's weapon.
• Crystal Shoot (Attack): Generates small crystals of ice and shoots them at the enemy.
• Snowflake Reflector (Defense): Generates a snowflake-shaped shield that reflects projectlies.
• Azure Crown (Super): Surrounds himself into crystals, damaging any opponent near him.
• Arctic Absolution (Super): Removes glove and spreads a cloud of nitrogen, instantly freezing a single opponent.
• Cocytus (Super): Liberates a heavy ice storm, causing powerful damage on opponents.
• Niflheim (Ultra): Liberates a heavy ice storm and freezes everything in the surrounding space. After that, starts cracking the ice until it finally breaks, massively damaging all opponents.

Umbrakinesis

• Black Cloak (Support): Generates a shield of darkness on any ally.
• Dark Blessing (Support): Gives a Stealth buff on allies, allowing them to stay invisible for a little while.
• Diversion (Support): Slightly dashes while surrounded by darkness, becoming impervious during the motion.
• Dusk Disperse (Super): Disperses shadows in the area, reducing visibility.
• Shadow Horizon (Super): Creates an orb that shoots dark lasers at random directions.

Schirach: So that's your answer... how foolish. If that's the case...

Schirach: There's no room for arguments, so I'll just simply kill you all.

Schirach: Lichtfaust!

Schirach swinged her hammer on the ground. The ground started to break as boulders rose. She grabbed on and threw it on Lilly.


Lilly: Leaf's Spiral!

With a spin, Lilly created a powerful wind that blew the boulder away from her. However, that gave Schirach the opening she needed. She dashed through those surrounding her and grabbed Lilly by the neck once she landed.


Lilly: Ack...!!

Schirach: I hope you enjoy the sky!

With a swing, Schirach sent Lilly high into the sky. Still not enough, she jumped and hit the magician back into the ground.


Anna: P-Princess!

Schirach: So long, Princess of Knowledge!

Schirach dived towards Lilly in order to finish her. However, as she was reaching, Magio dived into her. She quickly defended but was blown away.


Magio: You bastard! If it's me you're after, then just come at me!
Schirach: So be it! Take this!

She pummeled the ground once again with Lichtfaust, calling more boulders. She swinged her hammer like a bat, sending them all towards Magio's direction.

Magio: Do better than that! White Edge!

Magio slashed upwards and shot a light slash projectile that broke through the borders without fading. The slash came upon Schirach and she started to defend it.


Schirach: Heh, you're not shabby, but this slash won't stop me.
Necrox: Don't get too cocky.

Schirach: What?

Necrox: *appears* Shredding Stalk!

Necrox attacked Schirach with a claw-like attack. Unable to defend it, she was left open as White Edge attacked her was well. While they were on her toes, Anna and Agni ran to help Lilly.


Anna: Princess! Princess!

Lilly: Ugh... that was hard...

Agni: Are you alright?
Lilly: Y-Yeah... don't worry... I'll keep shooting her and leave the front to you.

Agni: Alright then. Anna, stay here with Lilly in case Schirach tries something.

Anna: Yes! Do not worry, Princess, I am here with you!

Lilly: Ugh... t-thanks...

Agni readied himself and kept looking at Schirach.


Agni: (Schirach has some brute strength... considering what she did to Lilly, we have to take the less damage possible...)

Schirach fell on her knees but soon got up again.


Agni: (I just have to wait for an opening.)

Schirach: Heh. Is that all? That doesn't faze me a little bit.
