Shonen Punk!

Jimmy blinked at the sight before him, but that didn't change anything so he assumed it wasn't a hallucination. That's not to say he wasn't looking at something that wasn't there. It was just that whatever he was experiencing was a lot more than a simple trick of light. If he were a betting man, which he would be, had he the luck or skill to make a career out of such a profession, he would've put all his money on something hitting his head and messing up all those delicate wirings that let him experience the world as it actually was.

"Wow." He whistled and looked around at the massive shelves, and myriad of books. "If only I had the time." He picked up the nearest book, and flipped it open. The first page was blank, and the second. He went through the entire book, and found the ending was so similar to the beginning it wasn't worth reaching at all. "Or a pen. A pen would be good right about now. I don't think I'd be able to fill up all of these, but I could do a few." A frown appeared on his face as he pushed the book back into its place. "I hope these aren't all blank. Its such a shame. I wonder if their journals." He made a face like man that just had a bit of fish and couldn't really decide if he liked it or not. "Oh that would be dreadful. Whoever bought these would spend more time writing than living." He shuddered at the thought. "Pity the soul that's job its going to be to have to read it all."

There was a rolling sound, or a scratching sound. Jimmy couldn't quiet put his finger on the write description, but images of wheels moving over rougher surfaces than were ideal came to his mind. "Hey?" He called out. "Is there anyone else here, or am I getting audio signals that aren't there too?" The second part was said much lower than the first, in the off chance that he wasn't hearing things.

Appearance:To say there were some differences after Jimmy's move to the anime world would be an understatement. Before, he was tall,5'11 with a somewhat rounder body. His hair was dark brown and his eyes were a slightly lighter shade of brown. His skin was medium tan, despite hours in the sun. When he found himself in the anime afterlife, his skin was the shade of paper, he was under 5'5, with a gaunt face and wiry body. The oddest thing was his eyes, which were now different colors. One was a brown so dark it could only be distinguished from black if you ignored personal space, and the other was a blue so light it looked like steel.

History: Life before the anime world was split into a couple of parts. First, there was the regular stuff that you'd die if you didn't do: eating, sleeping, showering. Then, there was work, which he felt took up too much of his time. After that, school, which he felt he didn't give enough of his time to. From there came writing, because he didn't want to work in retail for the rest of his life, and then stand up, which was the current alternative if writing failed even though he was better at the writing. Finally, there was the celebration of nerdom them, which would never get the kind of time it deserved.
Personality: Jimmy was a failed comedian back in the old world, so there's usually a funny side to whatever it is that life is throwing at him. He can stop talking, but there's no shutting off his mind, which is usually doing its best to record every single detail, and do its best to bring out understanding. He spends a lot of time wondering how he'd like to be seen so tries out different mannerisms, or words. On the occasions when he has to talk, there's no stopping him. If an audience is lacking, he'll become it, and laugh at anything he finds funny, or scowl and shake his head whenever something stupid is said or done.

He's a bit of an amateur philosopher, and lives by a code, which is centered on the idea that before anything else comes the protection of innocence, and works its way out.

Abilities:
white aura- when activated, Jimmy's entire body is surrounded by white light. The protection offered by this light is the equivalent of four stacked firm pillows. The aura can be focused around certain areas of the body, increasing the defense.

Yeah, I was wondering about that, because if the spirit realm was the same in Bleach, or Yuyu Hakusho, then that would put a lot of characters at a disadvantage since most people wouldn't normally be able to see spirits. Also, the way I'd see it, and I'm just putting this out there, there would be at least some level of political tension between the spirit world and the rest, because of the hollows. I mean, the quincy and shinigami got into all sorts of fights since hollows were a threat, and were dealt with accordingly, by the quicny, which caused problems with the shinigami since they, the quincy, were destroying the hollows instead of purifying them like the shinigami. I mean, I'm assuming there's going to be villains, or at least types of villains, from the different realms. So hollows will be in this, and if people destroy them, instead of purifying them with a zanpakto, that would cause danger for the spirit world. I don't know. I guess I think it would be cool to add some political tension.
Uhm, and I'm sorry if this doesn't make sense. I just got off a full day at work, and hardly any sleep.
