Here's another character while I work on my devil fruit user.

Also, it might be good to move things along, someway, because things have gotten kind of slow, and I'm afraid this rp might die before it even starts.

Hopefully, depending on factors beyond my control, I'll be able to post some time later today.
Posted. next one should be by/On Tuesday.
If you guys are having trouble let me know and I'll try to make accommodations.
Jynmi's eyes turned and he watched the shadow'd thing's flight path. "That thing is going to be pissed when it lands, and gets its head to stop spinning around every which way." He nodded, agreeing with himself. It was a habit he picked up because of nobody else doing it for him. "Wait what?" He blinked and turned around, looking for his friend. "Where'd he go?" He muttered, and then heard the footprints, before he saw the guy running off after the shadow limb. "Retreat?" He couldn't really believe it. He was almost certain they were going to die trying to be heroes. "Great!" He called after the guy. "Let's go!" There was an ugly whooshing sound, and another field of light once against sprung into action like a jack n' the box whose lever didn't need for it to be turned before jumping into action. Another shadowed monstrosity slammed into it. "Right then, and I'm off like a prom dress." He took off running, quickly gaining on his friend. "Go. Go! GO!!!" He called. "And don't trip, because that'll probably be fatal. I mean, I'll stop to help you, and do what I can, but I'd rather not. So, dont' fall. keep focused on what's going on before you, and a little below you, like on the ground."

"Oh good." The blue eyed man said, nodding in the direction of the hand, and its course. "Looks like one of them, at least, is useful after all." He beamed down at the one with the phantom extremity. "Good for you. Helping your fellows like that. At least you didn't give into panic." He shook his head. "So many new floaters give into panic. Why, if I had a black credit for every time one of you lost your head." He shook his head at the idea. So much money, never to be his, all because nobody gave him credits because people panicked so easily. "Well,I wouldn't be here, I'll tell you that."

"So, is that everyone?" The Green eyed individual called, standing up, dusting himself off, and pulling something from his pocket? "Because we're about ready, and you know, these things, well its best not to give them too much time. Remember last time, the city, and all those...." A slight pause as a deep dark chill ranked the man's body. "Er, ex-living individuals." He shuddered again, because there wasn't anything else to do, and all that excessive energy needed to be shed some way. Running, swimming, or some light boxing, was the preferred method, but it wasn't any of those thing's time. Maybe running, if everyone didn't hurry up, but that still wasn't right now.

The blue eyed man paused and watched Jynmi and Matt run past him. "Just about." He called, not seeing anyone else, and assuming the others made it past him while he was talking to the guy on the ground.

"I'm starting up the boom buggy then! Get everyone clear!" Green eyes said. He pushed a button and the mechanical crab spider with a dish started to shake.

"Hey! You two." He pointed at the humans who just moved past him. "Help me drag this guy." He pointed down at Tyler. "To over there." He pointed just behind his companion with the bright green eyes.

Also, I'm going to allow doubling on characters, so if you guys have second characters you want to use, go ahead and post them. Only one devil fruit user per player though.

Edit: That said, calling dibs on the Chop Chop fruit.

Are there any cannon devil fruits we're not allowed to use?
He tried, really he did, but distractions are hard to ignore, even if the subject matter isn't very interesting. It started to become too much, and the thought of leaving did cross Jynmi's mind, but in the end the angel spoke before he could leave, but after he put his book back and started turning around to make his exit. He tilted his head, and watched her speaking, wondering if 'her' was the accurate term. Did angels have sexs? It could be possible, he supposed anything was possible, but the thought of them being spiritual entities without form made it hard for him to believe genitals existed.

The angel paused and watched them. It, she, was probably giving them the opportunity to ask questions. He had a lot, but the one about sex seemed more pressing. So he opened his mouth to ask, assuming this would be his last chance, but instead, at the last second, as if his mouth had more sense than his mind, he said. "What does overseeing the existence of the universe entail, exactly? Are we going to have to fix something, because I'm the not the right person for that. There've been----instances that could prove that." He would'Ve gone into further detail, but being an angel he was sure she was aware of the cars, and bikes, and that little old man's electric chair all bursting into flames.
Reminder:I'm going to post in the IC later today
Well, it's been a day. I think Mr. (Or Ms.) Taiyou should receive Guy's spot.

Second that.
Actually, I'd just set down my copy of Hogfather to check my facebook, and that's how I learned of his passing. It kind of hit me hard. I've only just begun reading him, and I'm only five books in, but I'd grown very fond of his works.

Farewell Terry Pratchett, the world is a no better for your lost, but its a lot better than it was 66 years ago.
"They don't seem to be coming." The man with the blue eyes mumbled, letting his arms fall to his sides, fists clenched in agitation. "Why do these damn drifters need to always be heroes?" He shook his head and started calling again when a man with an ugly looking gash on his head fell to his feet. A disembodied limb floated above him looking for all the world like it belonged there. "Well at least this one came." The blue eyed man sighed. "Hey." He said, poking the bleeder with a steel toed booth. "Is there anyway you could get the others in your party over here, or there, or any other direction besides the ones that are currently being targeted by the chimera harvester's tentacles?"

The tentacles changed. Spearing, the preferred method of gathering new data wasn't going to work. This became obvious with the way the blonde one kicked aside one of the limbs. Proceeding to phase two. Several tentacles raised, and expanded becoming scoops which gathered up dozen of the pokemon husks, and enclosed them in a yellowish maroon gelatinous sphere. Soldiers were needed. There was a hiss, and several misshapen black figured emerged. There were seven in total, each a mockery of their previous pokemon forms. With an utter silence the creatures shot forward towards their prey.

"Why are they still over there?" The man with the green eyes called. He was several meters away, on his knees, with a pack on the ground, and strange equipment spread out. "I told you to get them over here."

"What do you think I'm doing!? Your old ears haven't given out on you, have they, because I was yelling loud enough to make it sixty feet with ease." The blue eye man shook his head and made an obscene gesture with his hands to let the Green eyed man know to shut up and get to work. Instead of wasting time with a reply the figure got back into work, combining parts into something that was starting to look like a cross between a satellite dish, a robotic crab, and a car bumper.

"We're going to fight?" Said Jynmi, certain he misheard things. "Really? But why not run?" He pointed at the men on the far end, where the pokemon were rushing too. "I mean it might not be safe there, seeing as the pokemon aren't stopping there, but at least the general direction seems better, don't you think?" Jynmi opened his mouth to complain more, but something big came at him. He didn't get a chance to recognize anything but for the complete blackness of its body, which along with the speed of the creature's impact, made picking out details impossible, before An invisible wall flared up out of nowhere, and the creature smashed into it, and the barrier, erecting at an odd angle, sending it up and over them in a high arc.

As Jynmi watched the mass of shadow sail over him, another of the mutations shot out from beneath the ground, intending on grabbing the man with the lightning book. While something a hideously shadowed mass sprung out of the trees by the blue girl, and hundreds of black vines moved in on her like homing missiles, intent on wrapping her up.
