Excellent. I love Dresden Files and writing so if you want any help with world-building let me know.

Well for starters that list of spells would be a big help :)

Oh and while we're on the subject of world building does anyone have any idea of what worlds they'd like to see? I've got an idea for the first one we find ourselves in but not too sure where we'll go after that.
Hey guys, I'ms sorry for taking so long to get back to this but there's this paper I have to do today but sort of forgot about. So I'll try and get everything sorted out when I get back. The good news is I think there's enough people for us to start so hopefully we'll get it into by tomorrow at the latest.

Hey Yeti, welcome to the Dresden multiverse rp.
There's a Dresden Files rpg? I didn't know that.... Interesting.
Does this mean no temple dog or air spirit sassy sidekicks?! D: cuz everyone needs a sassy sidekick

Oh!.. . I haven't thought about that. I guess it depends on what you have and how you plan on balancing it out with your character's abilities? Was there anything in particular you had in mind?
So how do you guys want to do the magic in the character Sheet?
The way I see it there are two ways(but I'm open to any ideas)
First-We simply put down the spells our characters know. Simple and straightforwards. It doesn't leave a lot of room for leeway but I think its the fairest way to go
Second-We put down how good our characters are at various schools of magic. Lots of room for mixing things up but maybe it would allow our characters to be too powerful. The only way I can see to countering that would be to have stats, and let's face it, most people hate stats, right? Plus, if we do have stats that might be problematic later on when our characters start gaining abilities from other worlds since we'd have to deal with stats there too. Unless of course the stats are just for the beginning.

So preferences, ideas, comments?

Also let me know if I'm overthinking things because that happens too, sometimes(daily)
Of course. What kind of Wardens would we be without our trusty spell slashing blades:D
Er well, I guess technically we'd be the Harry Dresden kind which really isn't that bad.
Yeah, I think you might be right. Such a shame. It's a great series >.<
but I'm up to do something between the two of us if your interested, or we could try waiting a little bit for some more interest?
Canonical abilities would be best and preferred, yes.

Alrighty. Well, I'm at work at the moment, but I'll try to get my Harry Dresden(The Dresden Files) CS up when I get back.
Sweet.
This is just the basic idea so if you have any ideas feel free to let me know.

I think we'll just need like three or four more people and then we're good to go.

I've never played as myself in a RP before, so this is new to me - hoping that this would be a fun experience for my first attempt!

That can work - something like a beginner quest in most online or video RPGs.

Me too!

Yeah exactly and then from there we'll start getting into other worlds and facing new enemies.
So, was there any particular worlds you'd like to see?
Also, any ideas for a first quest?
I was thinking maybe going after some kind of bounty could be our beginner quest?
